It's not often that I buy into a series of books, and even less often that I'm excited by a new release in a series, but this book was one I had to start on the day of release, and I was not disappointed!
Continuing from the first book in the series, Cursed Paths expands on the Terrinia Chronicles with both old and new characters. It's fantastic. This author really understands empathy and each character is so carefully crafted. I don't want to post any spoilers at all, but I will say that there were parts I genuinely cried, and others where I released a violent cackle!
I don't know when the final book in the trilogy will be released, but I do know that I'll be eagerly awaiting its arrival and purchasing the whole trilogy in book form, rather than Kindle, because this is a series I can see myself going back to again and again.

The best part of this series is the characters! Each character is dynamic with their own quicks that make the reader want to befriend each of them.

It took me a minute to get back into this and remember what was happening, but once I did I was sucked in! The ending chapters in particular are page turners. I love these characters and can’t wait for the next!!

This was an excellent sequel to the first. I want to know what happens next, and cannot what for the last installment of this trilogy to be released! The detail in the world building of this book is incredible. I loved seeing the new language introduced and more storylines of groups of beings in Terrinia.

Did I write it? Yes. Do I still enjoy it? Of course. These characters haunt my dreams—sleeping and awake. I fear I will forever be haunted by these characters for years after the trilogy is written.
Have you read much by indie authors? If not, you should! Indie authors are the best. They write from a place of love and genuine artistic drive, meaning their stories are that much more heartfelt. Support indie authors and read more books!
