Emma and a gang of sleuths are called upon to trace a missing bride to be, the police believe she's a runaway put the gang believe something more sinister is a foot.
Yes the latest in this wonderful series and yes this is the best so far I loved it. Mystery twists false leads and quirky characters plus some very relatable and all very believable. This is a new angle and direction for the gang (is there an age limit on a gang there are a couple of teens as well as the pensioners). I won't give any spoilers so you'll have to read to find out how this is but it's fun and intriguing to see how it unfolds. If you've not read any of the series so far then worry not this can be read as standalone but the others are so worth the reading so you might well want to read them all. You can start here or at number one, your in for a treat whichever you read in my opinion.
This is such a great read I have to highly recommend it, it smashes the 5 star barrier easily as I'm sure you will see.

Funny & Clever.
Clever, funny, writing but with unique people just not my fav of the series. Mainly, because of all the deep dive into a lot of computer information that at times made my eyes glaze over. Not unlike Emma, lol ! But as I kept reading, I found a lot of things that I DID like.
I liked that their group was nicknames The Savannah Sleuths, half a joke, and half a warning. And it was well earned because of former "adventures". As they dig deeper into," where is Tansy?", the missing bride, things really start to get dangerous !!
I REALLY liked Emma Lynn Whitmore and her group. Emma's adopted cat/ side kick Clementine the cat added some smarts and comforts to the group. Margaret was always full of surprises especially with endlessly filled handbag. Graham was protective and skilled. He made me wonder if there wasn't a romance brewing between him and Emma. One of my all time favorites was Wren, the 16 year old Whiz Kid. Smart, intuitive, totally focused and she had a lot of contacts and genius ideas.
A later person, Dr. Darby was a surprise but had a hilarious wit. I enjoyed her a lot too.
It had a great ending after a wild chase. And the wild chase itself was great !
At the end: There was also the information that I could get the beginning book of how the group first came together, called, "Beneath the Buried Ivy." So I got it.

The fourth book in the Savannah Sleuths series and it's a winner! The florist's daughter is getting married in her garden and she just disappears. But her veil is found with a drop of blood hanging on a Wisteria bush. So Emma and the Savannah Sleuths are called to investigate the missing bride. The police believe it's a case of cold feet and she just ran away. But in investigating, Emma, Margaret and Graham are discovering things that leas them to believe she may have been taken. This is a fantastic book in the series that grabs you and keeps you totally engaged from the beginning. Not only do I highly recommend this book, but I highly recommend the entire series! I received an ARC of this book but the opinions stated here are strictly my own.

Below the Listeria Veil
Oh, this one was another hit! Espionage at its finest. These stories with the Savannah Sleuths are amongst the best! Im racing through these books as though I'm in the Kentucky Derby! The real sadness will be when I can no longer spend days in Emma Lynn's cottage with Graham, Margaret and Wren! Sad day indeed!

Amazing heart pounding mystery to solve! The Savanah Sleuths have a big mystery to solve. Hazel's daughter is missing a week before her wedding. There's no visible clues or hints left behind and the police can't do anything. This will keep you reading and on the edge of your seat clear to the end.

Living close to Savannah makes the series even better. I can picture the places they go, smile at their southern charm, and almost smell and taste the southern deserts!

These Southern sleuths know the true meaning of friendship and stick together through all the rough times and the fun times. I enjoyed following along on their chase for the truth. What a fun series.

Hard to put down
This book kept me coming back. I couldn't wait to see what happened next. An unusual premise and excellent storytelling. Loved it.
