This was a great small beach town romance. Love a good small town romance plus anytime it involves the beach or ocean I’m sold. I loved the characters in this story as they felt so real and like I was in the book myself. Lastly but not least at all, love all the doggies
Aubrey jumps at the chance to stay at the Florida Keys house she inherited from her uncle for the summer after her ex announces he's getting remarried but she didn't expect the house to need so much work. Lifetime resident Jake offers his general contractor skills and soon they draw closer but a scare during a hurricane causes him to push her away. Will he pull his head out of the sand and tell her how she feels before he loses her? I loved how the community helped and looked out for each other. This was a kisses only romance.
I loved this! I have loved every Meet Me book I've read. I loved Jake and Aubrey. Their chemistry was great. It was such a feel good read. I really needed it while being sick. It lifted my spirits.
