Meet Daya, a seemingly ordinary woman working at a bank. Her world changes when she meets Othello, a charming and successful business owner who quickly asks her out. Their relationship develops beautifully, filled with genuine connection and chemistry. But Daya harbors a secret she’s afraid to reveal—one that could change everything.
Every year, Daya and her friends indulge in an elaborate group orgy, and the thought of confessing this to Othello fills her with anxiety. Will he be overwhelmed and run away, or will he embrace the adventure and join in? Take a wild guess!
This book is a quick, fiery read—packed with spicy scenes and humor that kept me entertained from start to finish. I had a great time reading it, and honestly, I might need to go find my own toy now!

If you are not opened minded then pass on this book. It’s NOT for you.
I loved Daya and Othello. My eyes bulged a bit at Daya at how left Othello in the dark about the group trip with her friends. Talk about never being the right time. And what a hey boo these are my friends. But I also cackled how Othello was busting at the seams to tell Daya what he witnessed.
I enjoyed this read.

A TIME WAS HAD!
Aria is going to hit you with something that makes you laugh, clutch your pearls, then immediately be reaching for that drawer 😩😂 I loved every second of this!

Just what I needed to escape my book slump. BABY this was such a time. An erotica with a good plot. I loved it.

One thing that I really enjoy about Aria Daze is the queer & BIPOC representation she includes in her books! I love how all of the characters in this book fall somewhere within the queer space. I enjoyed seeing the group dynamics and really liked each character.
Now Daya knew she should have told Othello up front about what goes down on the trip. She had ample time to do so and many openings to let him know. Sis was about to miss out on the best time of her life cause she ain’t wanna tell him 🤣 This book is veryyy freaky so if that’s not your thing skip it. But as for me? I enjoyed it allll from top to bottom 🙂↕️

This was just a freaky good time but it just didn’t do it for me. Nothing the characters did bothered me but I think it was more so if what was being said during the sex fest that just didn’t tickle my fancy. Maybe they were talking too much or maybe it was what was being said… not sure. Not bad tho

I get where the book was going. I love the vision but the execution was rushed. The kinks were there but not enough details.

This was my first book by Aria Daze, and I had heard people talk about the spice in her books, but WOO WEE!!! 🥵🔥 They were not exaggerating! This short book definitely took me through there.
The story follows Daya and her boyfriend Ello, who have been happily together when Daya invites him on her annual group trip… without fully explaining what this particular trip actually entails. 😭 Once they arrive and Ello starts realizing this isn’t your average friends’ vacation, I was over here clutching my pearls and laughing at the same time.
Now one thing that had me SO frustrated was Daya herself. Girl!!! 🤦🏽♀️ You brought this man all the way on this doggone trip knowing what it was about, and you took forever to tell him the truth! Y’all were staying in the same house with everybody! How exactly were you planning to keep all of this on the down low? 😂 Even after Ello started witnessing some of the… ahem… activities taking place around him, she still wouldn’t just come clean. I was literally fussing at the book like, “Girl! Just tell that man what’s going on already!” 😭
Despite that frustration, I really enjoyed watching Ello process everything that was unfolding because honestly… I was processing it with him. 😂 I appreciated how patient he was considering the situation he had been dropped into with absolutely no warning. Underneath all the shock factor and chaos, I did enjoy the relationship between Daya and Ello, and I found myself rooting for them because you could tell there was genuine love between them.
Now let’s address the elephant in the room… the spice. 🥵😮💨 Baby… Aria Daze was not playing! The chemistry was chemistry-ing, and this book definitely earns its reputation for being STEAMY. It was one of those reads where I kept saying, “Well alright then!” every few pages. 😂
The reason this lands at 3 stars for me is simply because I wanted more. Since it’s a novella, everything moved really fast, and I would’ve loved more time getting to know Daya and Ello outside of the spicy moments. I wanted more emotional development and a deeper exploration of their relationship before everything wrapped up.
Overall, Group Trip was a fun, entertaining, laugh-out-loud, and very spicy read that kept me engaged from beginning to end. It definitely introduced me to Aria Daze’s writing style, and while I wanted more depth, I still had a good time and will absolutely be picking up more of her books.

If you're looking for more spice than plot...this is your book! The FMC and her friends go on a yearly trip but the trip always turns into a sexcation! But this year is a little different because the FMC has a boyfriend that was raised in a Christian Home, so she was a little nervous to explain to him what happens on these trips. However, she let him go in blind (and I didn't like that)...although he was shocked with things he initially saw because he thought everyone was cheating on their spouses...it eventually worked in his favor because was actually down with the whole experience!
Basically everyone was f*ck*n each other... playing but seriously this is what's going down!

Whew, I’m still blushing and wondering if I was grown enough to read this one! 🔥
While the chemistry was undeniably spicy, what stayed with me most was the deeper story about acceptance, community, and found family. The relationships and friendships throughout this book beautifully show what it looks like to find your person and be surrounded by people who genuinely love and support you.
Daya & Othello, Cindy & Carson, Jaimia & Hen, and Maia & Angel all added something special to the story and reinforced that message of belonging.
Come for the spice, stay for the message about community, acceptance, and being loved for exactly who you are.

By the name I’m sure you can come to a conclusion about what this book is about. This is a very short read, probably a 2 hour one if that. Ello and Ivy are going strong for a year and a half before he is invited to the annual group trip. What he doesn’t know is that this trip is really where the group releases all their inhibitions and enjoy each other...in every way possible. Ivy is trying to hide the true nature of the trip from Ello but he keeps catching people in compromising positions and asking questions.Once he finds out the truth, will he be down or run away!?

This was a short read that when the spice came it came pun intended. Daya has always wanted to be in an orgy and she didn't want to have sex with strangers but once she met her girlfriends in college, they decided to experiment and now they have an annual group trip where they get together and have as much sex as they want for the week. Their partners are on board as well so everyone consents to the arrangement and enjoys themselves.

I don't know what I expected going into this book but I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of this book. I am not sure if me and my friends could get down like that but that's the joy of reading it in a book because you read out random fantasies!! I am definitely diving into Ms. Aria Daze catalog after reading this.

This book was wild and spicy—messy in the best way—but honestly, I expected it to hit harder with all the hype around it. It kept me entertained, but it didn’t snatch me up the way I thought it would. Still, it was fun, fast, and worth the read.

This was funny. It is a novella and sometimes I find those have to have feel complete for me to fully enjoy them. It was still entertaining and is still an Aria Daze body of work.

I loved the book I just wish it didn’t feel rushed. This was my first impression of the author, I personally felt like it could have been longer and not just for the spice.
