On the island of Atelonia, tradition rules above all.
For Elias, the once-rebellious prince and reluctant heir to the throne, returning home comes with an impossible marry and produce an heir, or lose the crown to his power-hungry uncle. For Valentina, a spirited local, life means following her father's plan—managing her family's struggling restaurant and keeping their legacy alive.
But when a chance encounter thrusts her into Elias' chaotic world, they strike a a fake marriage that serves them both.
Neither Elias nor Valentina believe in love, but as they navigate public scrutiny and the pressures of royalty, they discover something unexpected in each comfort, trust, and maybe even the chance for something real.
Will they risk everything for a love they never imagined?
Here’s my review—and I’ll try to make it as complete as possible, even though all I really want to say is that I loved this book with my whole heart.
The story had me hooked from the very first page, and I couldn’t put it down until the end. Yes, there are several clichés, but they don’t even feel like clichés. It all comes across as something fresh and completely new.
The characters are everything—from Elias and Valentina, our main couple, to side characters like Archie, Carter, Rebecca, and even Nico. And the characters you’re meant to hate? Trust me, you will. It’s impressive. (Important to mention: Elias had me from second one. I love a grumpy older man with dark hair and green eyes—the perfect combo.)
The setting gave me major Monaco vibes—from the descriptions to the Grand Prix. And as an F1 girlie, I loved that the sport was woven into the story in such a natural way.
Overall, I adored this book. I wasn’t prepared for such a beautiful, wow kind of story. And heads up—I cried through the last chapter and the epilogue.
Lastly, the spice was just right—and it was spicying!! I loved it.
This book is what happens when a modern day fairytale meets fake marriage in all the right ways. I was enchanted from the first chapter and found myself rooting for Elias and Valentina as they both began to accept their feelings for each other. Valentina is the kind souled, girl-next-door we would all love to know, and while Elias is initially cold and calculated, he evolves into the caring prince that was always within him.
The fairytale feeling is immersive yet realistic, and it doesn't feel overdone here. The romance between Elias and Valentina is paced well and is crafted with care. The chemistry between Val's best friend Rebecca, and Carter (Elias's brother) burned brightly in the moments it was woven into the story, and has me anticipating book 2.
Thank you to Sophia Bazar for providing this ARC. All opinions are my own.
A scheming uncle, a succession contract and a marriage of convenience - it’s All For The Crown.
Crown Prince Elias is returning home to Atelonia after his father has a stroke. His uncle has been pulling the strings behind the throne for years and is now actively trying to take power by forcing a succession contract. To ensure he will inherit the throne, Elias must marry. But his former girlfriend is not who he thought she was, so he’s looking for a new bride.
Valentina is working hard to keep her family’s restaurant afloat while her father is in hospital. Drowning in debt, she’s not living the life she hoped to live. A chance encounter leads her to bump into Elias at the hospital…and suddenly he announces they’re dating.
After a few discussions, Elias and Valentina agree to marry as business partners. With a looming marriage, ex drama on both sides and the increasing attention from the public, they must try to remember that love has no place in their burgeoning relationship.
This as a great debut. There’s some really wonderful characters, salacious back stories and beautiful settings to help keep the story flowing. It’s an age gap, opposites attract romance, with aspects of fake dating and marriage of convenience at different times.
The romance is slow burn and open door. The story deals with historic sibling/parental death, parental illness, panic attacks and imposter syndrome.
This is the start of a series that I imagine will focus on all three royal brothers. I look forward to reading more of Ms Rose’s work and seeing how she develops as an author. This book would appeal to fans of contemporary romance.
Thank you Sophia Bazar. I was given this book as an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this honest review voluntarily.
Fake marriage trope? Say less—I'm in. 👑💍
This is the first book in a series, and we get a little teaser at the end for the next one (which I’m already excited about 👀). I had such a fun time reading this. The dynamic between Elias and Valentina was chef’s kiss. The slow burn, that tension … it’s the kind of buildup that keeps you flipping pages just to see when they’ll finally give in.
I really enjoyed how Bazar made the fake marriage trope her own. There are only so many ways to spin it, but she did a great job bringing fresh energy to the setup while still giving all the familiar cozy beats you expect.
This is definitely a character-focused romance, which I loved. You get to really sit with their emotions, motivations, and growth. It felt grounded in a way that made the romance hit harder.
As for spice: it’s there, but it’s not overpowering. I’m always down for a spicy read, and while this one was on the lighter side, it fit the tone and pacing of the story really well.
Overall, this was a fun, heartfelt, slow-burn royal romance that delivered everything I wanted—tension, chemistry, and just enough spice to keep things interesting. Can’t wait to see what happens next in the Atelonian Princes series!
Tropes: 💍 Fake Marriage 🔥 Slow Burn 👑 Royal Romance ❤️ Character-Driven 🌶️ Light but Satisfying Spice
This was such a breath of fresh air romance read. It was warm and cozy, but the characters were layered and kept you wanting to know more and more.
Our FMC Valentina is someone you instantly respect. She’s warm, caring, selfless and sees the good in people.
Our MMC Elias, is your grumpy, never wants to be vulnerable crown prince struggling with the role that was never meant to be his. But his protectiveness and love for his country and family is so admirable.
Together they’re even better. The chemistry is brilliant. I absolutely love their push and pull, their banter and the slow burn …. Ugh!!!!
The supporting character are just as great. These brothers are my absolute favorite. I loved to watch their relationship develop and it’s the best depiction of brothers I’ve seen in a long time! Archi has me cackling and I just adore him whole heartedly. I can’t wait for the next book to peel back more layers of Carter and Becks.
The relationship of all the friends and family is adorable and just warmed my heart. The quick wit, the playfulness, I just loved it.
I highly recommend this as a feel good cozy romance. Especially if you like to avoid the stupid third act break up drama - none here and it’s so refreshing!
Very thankful for this ARC read, I will definitely be getting a physical copy for my shelves !
Tropes: Fake marriage Slow burn Grumpy prince + sunshine
This review is given honestly and there was no compensation for this review.
I was given the opportunity to read this book as an Arc and I couldn’t have been happier with this read.
First and foremost I love a fake marriage trope and let’s just say this book delivered and with a fresh spin on it. After a while of reading this trope it can all feel like you’re reading the same story, this book deliverers a new and fresh perspective in my opinion and I loved it.
I love that this was just book one in a series because it keeps you wanting more. Both Elias and Valentina they gave you that tension that slow burn and banter which just made the dynamic between them that much more.
Royal romance isn’t normally my go to pick for a book but I actually really enjoyed this read and I’m so glad I stepped out of my normal go to books. I do love me a book with some spice so I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about the level of spice in this book but to my surprise I really enjoyed the lighter side of the spice level in this case.
This book overall was a real refresher for me and I truly enjoyed reading it. I can’t wait for the next book in the series. Bazar truly did a wonderful job with this book and these characters!
Stunning gorgeous and everything I wanted for this fake marriage royal romance!
I love the dual POV and being able to get inside the heads of both main characters.
The story centers around Elias and Valentina who both desperately need a win in life, but little did they know they’d get much more from this fake relationship than initially expected.
Elias is the heir to the throne and in order to get his place as king he must marry. Valentina runs an almost failing restaurant and has racked up tons of medical debt from taking care of her father. They seem to both need something, Elias needs a wife, Valentina needs money. A perfect business transaction and exchange is hatched between them but little did they know they’d get love from this arrangement!
I loved this book and how the love unfolded in the pages!
Elias and Valentina aren’t your typical lovebirds. Valentina is a restaurant owner drowning in debt, and Elias - the Crown Prince - must fulfill his third part of the infamous succession clause to become the rightful heir to the throne. They met by chance and reached an agreement, will the fine line between obligation and desire begin to blur?
This series has all the making of becoming a great one. I’m already anticipating the next book to come. The main characters are extremely lovable, the side characters are amazing, the slow burn is chef’s kiss, and it’s a very enjoyable read. Watching the characters grow and unfold was absolutely beautiful. I loved seeing such a raw take on raw and complicity between the characters.
Thank you to Sophia Bazar and team as well as Netgalley for giving me the opportunity to read All for the Crown as an ARC.
Fake dating/marriage of convenience trope ✅ Grumpy/Sunshine ✅ Royal/commoner ✅ So basically some of my favorite tropes in one book. Was it cliche? Yes but it did feel cliche or overdone. Bazar breathed life into these characters and Atelonia (I wish it was a real because I want to visit it so badly now 😫). I love how the relation played out and developed between Valentina and Elias and also how they both were just so cute together yet so real. Can’t wait to read about Carter and Archie (my love ❤️) and also find out about what happened between Carter and Rebecca. The worse part of reading this book as an arc is going to waiting for the next one to be released 😭
If you’re looking for a “read through one sitting” book, you found it ! Easiest five stars ever, I’d give it a 6th without any second thoughts! This book brought me to tears of joy, happiness, laughter, and even a bit of rage as I almost threw my phone at the wall at 3am (thank you author, you definitely knew what you were doing!). It’s a sloooooow burn with the best yearning all along. The writing is impeccable and the characters are to die for. The FMC is so real, the MMC is everything you’d want. It’s a romance set in a fictional yet realistic world, and it was dreamy. I didn’t sleep at night to finish it and that must mean something, right? I can’t wait to dive in book 2 !
Valentina and Elias completely stole my heart! Their story reads like a royal fairytale — full of longing, charm, and a beautifully written slow burn that kept me turning the pages late into the night.
The chemistry between them was undeniable, and the witty banter made it so easy to fall in love with both characters. As someone who lives for the marriage of convenience trope, this book absolutely delivered. It balanced emotional depth with swoony moments in the best way.
If you enjoy royal romances, slow-burn tension, and one of the most satisfying takes on marriage of convenience, I can’t recommend this one enough.
All For the Crown by Sophia Bazar ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This was a super cute book! Fake marriage, royal drama, schemes galore for a prince trying to save his crown. Valentina and Elias are such a cute couple when they can finally get out of their own way. And the family support from Val’s side along with the Lone Wolves, Elias’ brothers, was so sweet and they all had great banter written throughout. The island and lavish living vibes were incredible, definitely recommend!
OMG. I honestly never thought I’d read a 500+ page book and end up liking it this much 😭🤍
This is a ROYAL fake marriage romance done RIGHT. The slow burn stressed me out at first, not gonna lie but the way the story flows?? The banter, the tension, the funny moments and those scenes 👀🔥 everything balances so well.
It has the perfect slow burn and the perfect amount of everything. Nothing felt dragged, nothing felt rushed. I was fully invested before I even realised it.
Also Archie, he’s my favourite. 🤭 And Carter & Rebecca??? They had my eyes the entire time 👀
This was such a light hearted read. I loved all the characters, especially Archie and his Lone Wolves (iykyk). I was giggling and dying all at the same time- Elias and Valentina's comebacks are top tier. Now that I've read it, I want to go to Atelonia and pick up shells on the beach. Can't wait to read about Carter and Rebecca <33
LOOK. Does it echo The Fine Print? Yes. Did we like the Fine Print? Yes. Do we like good stuff even if we've already kinda read it in another story? YES YES YES.
Sophia Bazar really made this one her own - I loved this Monaco vibe, the F1 scene, the tension, the banter, the complexities of the Valentina and Elias, feeling torn between a loyalty for their passions and each other. I kinda even liked these characters better than TFP, you could understand and excuse certain behaviour way better. So yes. Definitely me already jumping up and down hoping book 2 will be about Carter and Rebecca !!!
I am always down for a marriage of convenience and man did All for the Crown satisfy that itch. This felt like a better written Hallmark movie in the best way and I am dying for more. The main characters feel so real through the entire book, and the writing itself is beautifully done - I was hanging onto every word. All I wanted was more of Valentina and Elias. Thank you so much for the ARC Sophia!
All for the Crown was such a delightful surprise. I went in expecting a light, trope-filled fake marriage story, and while it delivered on those fronts, it also gave me slow burn chemistry, and a sweet payoff that left me smiling.
Valentina is relatable and refreshingly down to earth balancing her family obligations and the chaos of royal life with humor and grit. Elias, the reluctant prince, isn’t your typical brooding royal; he gives off possessive and protective vibes. Their dynamic feels real, not rushed. The tension between duty and desire plays out beautifully as their fake engagement starts to feel anything but fake.
I would definitely recommend if you are looking for something light and romantic.
This is not my usual genre but golly gosh it was worth the read. My heart was happy fluttering, I had a silly smile on my face the entire time.
It's just one big book of cuteness and awww moments. What a treat of a story to have experienced. The happy tears came in a few places and I'm thrilled at how it all ended up unfolding.
This was honestly such a good read, it didn’t take me long to actually love Valentina. The world building was easy paced, and easy to understand as well and it was overall intriguing to learn more and more.
It was such a goooood slow burn, I absolutely loved and devoured this. There were plot twists and also gasps as a wise person once said I devoured this as if it was my last meal—if you read this book you’ll definitely get what I mean.
I will always be a sucker for a fake marriage trope and this one was done SOO well. I had so much fun reading this book. The slow burn between Elias and Valentina was just *chefs kiss.* You’re just rooting for them to give in the entire time. You get so attached to the characters throughout the book. The writing felt very emotional and passionate which really resonated with me as a reader. I did find myself crying at the end. It was the perfect amount of spice for me. I couldn’t recommend this book enough! I cannot wait for the second in the series! 5 ⭐️’s.
All for the Crown surprised me in the best way. I picked it up expecting a fake-marriage romance with a royal twist, and while it definitely delivered on that front, what kept me turning the pages were the characters — flawed, layered, and incredibly human.
Valentina is the kind of heroine you root for from page one. She’s grounded, and fiercely independent, yet the author allows her moments of vulnerability that feel real, not forced. Elias, the crown prince, walks that fine line between regal duty and emotional struggle, and his internal conflict is written with impressive nuance. Watching these two collide, clash, and slowly fall for each other felt organic and earned.
What really stood out to me was the writing style. It’s smooth and immersive, with just the right balance between description and dialogue. The island of Atelonia almost becomes a character in itself — vivid, sun-drenched, and alive with tension under its glamorous surface.
If you love slow-burn romance, well-developed characters, and a setting you can get lost in, All for the Crown is worth the read. I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for the sequel.
Set on the island of Atelonia, the story revolves around the crown prince and a business owner.
Elias needs someone to marry in order to inherit his crown, and Valentina needs a way out to repay the debts and take care of her father. When they run into each other the first time, they find a friend that they have been looking for in each other. And when they keep running into each other—or at least how Elias likes to call his forced encounters—they strike a deal that can benefit each other and solve their problems.
Valentina thinks dating the crown prince of their island is not going to be a big deal except for a few public appearances here and there, but she is in for a ride when it completely changes her life more than she had imagined. Valentina is caring, understanding, and loyal to the people she loves. She is always there to help the ones she loves and such a sweetheart that she can’t deny helping others. It is like she is always meant to be a queen.
Elias on the other hand who used to be a rebel, now coming home after 4 years in the Navy, he feels more alone than before. He feels disconnected from his siblings and his old friends. While he still gets close with his siblings, his friends and the girl he thought he was meant to be with are a different story. And when he meets Valentina for the first time, he finds a friend in her, a real connection that he has been missing. With other problems he has, being with her makes him feel like himself and he doesn’t want to let that go.
Their chemistry is sweet; it is like a friends-to-best-friends-to-lovers kind of story. I could keep reading about them. I was dreading if they’d have a third-act break-up, but they didn’t—which is a hooray for me. Their connection is mature and sweet. Also, it is a slow-burn, and trust me, it is worth the wait.
The whole Atelonia island is beautifully described that I wish it was a real place that I could go and visit someday. All the characters are well written, and it sets the stage for their upcoming stories—I am very much interested in reading. A big kudos to the author for writing the story in a way that it evolved gradually. I didn’t feel a jump in the story anywhere and that is amazing. The conversations between the leads are written so well that you can feel them falling in love with each other, and I so love that!
An amazing book! If you are looking for a book that calms you down, then this is the one for you. A sweet read.
📖 Elias, the prince of Atelonia, a man known for trouble and being unreliable, now needs the crown to become king to avoid his uncle from taking over as the next heir. Valentina, a small restaurant owner and a family-oriented person who likes to keep to herself, is willing to do what she can to keep her family business alive. Meeting one random night, right place, right time, these two meet by chance on an outing, striking up a deal to benefit them both. Deciding to fake it till they make it, but can these two continue to only fake it? 📖
✨️ ARC REVIEW✨️
My first ever fake dating/royalty book, and I'm so hooked now. Not only on this trope but on this author. Sophia Bazar, you did amazingly well writing this story. I read it was her first book too, and I already am dying for the second book. I need it ASAP. I love the funny banter between everyone. The names of everyone were a perfect fit. The brothers' bond, the friendships, and family dynamic were amazing. The grumpy MMC and sunshine FMC were chef's kiss. I found myself laughing and chuckling between the chapters. The yearning...ughhh...AHHHH. This author had me blushing too! What a great slow burn that made me eager each time our main characters got closer. It was so worth the wait. The spice was just right. Elias and Valentina have a special place in my heart now.
When they started out as "business transactions" , but fate has other plans. The plot is compelling—how the heir to the throne decided to take over his rightful place. The chemistry between the main characters crackles with a classic push and pull dynamic—between that witty and playful banter, giving in to their feelings, but then thier insecurities pulls them apart. Their emotional tug-of-war kept me flipping pages, eager to see who would take the next step or retreat. It feels raw, making their eventual connection all the more satisfying.
Some scenes gave me that kind of heart-tugging feeling, one minute you’re reading, the next you’re clutching the book to your chest kinda thing? I like that balance between the plot and romance that does not overshadow each other — each serves its purpose and deliver the intended message.
This book is such a sweet, swoony ride. I adored the dynamic between the two leads—it’s fun, full of tension, and emotionally layered in all the right ways. Valentina’s chaotic energy had me giggling, while the romantic build-up made me clutch my chest like a Victorian lady with the vapors.
What stood out most, though, was how much of their love is shown in action. Not just words. Not just longing glances. They do things for each other. They heal each other. They fall together like mosaic pieces—each a little broken, but somehow perfectly shaped for the other.
The story is character-driven, but the cultural details of Atelonia added a soft richness to the background that made the world feel real and easy to fall into. I ate it up.
Definitely one for fans of heartfelt romance, banter, and characters who actually deserve each other.
