The Passover story is enlivened in this creative rendition of the Ten Plagues. Everyone can take part as Moses implores Pharoah to ""Let My People Go!"" This light-hearted rhyming tale can be read alone or with a cast of characters as a ""Reader's Theater."" Perfect for family seders, library story time, and classroom dramatizations. ""This book will be welcome in Jewish and Christian educational settings and may enliven family Passover Seders. . .""— School Library Journal
Loved this Bible story of Moses and Pharoah and the struggle for the Israelites to get permission to leave Egypt. My little boys love this story and love helping with the parts of the play (it's not necessary to have enough people for the parts). They loved saying some of the repetitive parts with me. Great book for children. I would love to see more Bible stories in play form... and the verse was simple and perfect.
This book is hilarious!!! (As long as you have a good read-aloud voice...this is NOT a silent reader!) It's the story of Moses and Pharoh and the plagues. All I could think was where was this book a few months ago when I was doing this story in Sharing time!
This is written as a play with parts for moses, pharoah, egyptians, a narrator and a chorus. It's fun to check out multiple copies and assign parts in a small group.
