‘The Final Downfall’ brings us to the end of the story. After answering our questions about the ending of ‘Battle for the Photon Core’, the story gets straight back into the action, following the remaining members of the Lyriumian Court as they track down the final magical items. While this is happening, readers are drawn into the dream states of Amneris and Colt. Battles are fought as the two try their hardest to escape and return to the fight against the Dark King Enliatu. A disastrous attack on two Lyriumian cities show the people’s care from each other and how they don’t hesitate to fight for each other and their homeworld. The final battle approaches as the Lyriumians finally face off against the Terpolites on an ancient battleground, delving into the ancient history and mythology of the God Worlds, and questions are raised over the price of victory.

Despite everything at stake, TFD provides plenty of action and humour, sass and sarcasm, and plenty of new worlds and magics to be explored. It all leads to a surprising ending that leaves the reader with plenty of questions. We have no doubt that there will be more to provide answers. The story of the God Worlds has only just begun.
