This short story was just ok for me. Honestly, it was a little boring. I much prefer the second book in this series. You can go ahead, skip this one, and just read that one instead.

These two have to navigate the hurt from the past and follow their hearts. This book is so adorable with the right amount of steam, its a fantastic read.

I had a lot of fun reading this book. It’s OTT, but it has some realistic elements. First, the heroine is a work in progress as far as her confidence goes at the beginning of the book. She has an empowering boutique for plus-sized women (I can’t say the name for fear of being dinged for it on the Zonn) and it’s a great concept. She wants to make plus-sized women feel zexy, but she has her moments of discomfort about letting someone see her body. By the end, she’s ignoring h8ers and reveling in her fabulous new dress. It’s a process, and something most people go through: the body insecurity. She’s relatable, and I liked the character growth bookended by the horrible bully. (Although Katie deserves a Mother Theresa award for not knocking that chick’s block off regarding the spiked drinks sitch.)
The romance itself is delightfully OTT. She drunk texts him (recreation because I don’t want to get susaned):

Drunk Dialing My Enemy is Book 1 of the Curvy Boss Babes series. It's a short and steamy, instalove, OTT, mutual pining, curvy virgin gets her brother's best friend second-chance romance. Katie is a 24 year old sweet and curvy plus-size fashion designer with her own boutique. Darren is the hunky, 26 year old, older brother of her best friend, Dot. He is also her landlord and her first love, but she thinks he hates her. He doesn't and is just as in love with her. They kissed on her 16th birthday, only for him to dissappear. Now, she is drunk at a Bachelorette party, upset after being insulted, when she drunk dials Darren. He comes to pick her up and is excited to realize she still has feelings for him. Now, he is all in and going to show her just how much she has always meant to him. OMG, these two were just the sweetest together. They had insane chemistry, and the ending was so happy. I loved drunk Katie and their witty banter. It was so good. I can't wait for Dot's book!!.

I really enjoyed Drunk Dialing My Enemy by Jenna Cook. Darren Baker went from Katie's teenage crush to her enemy after they kissed and then he left town. Now her best friend's brother is back in Wild Bronco and he's her new landlord. Darren has avoided Katie and his obsession with her until one phone call from his little sister's best friend changes everything. He won't let Katie get away a second time. Great read.

Darren and Katie have known each other for years and kissed on her 18th birthday. She is at a bar with his sister for a pre-wedding party for bridesmaids and thinks she has only had one tequila and strawberry lemonade, not knowing the lemonade was alcoholic. She rings Darren drunk telling him she loved him and as she gets steadily drunker he picks her up and takes her home. Their HEA is witty and highly recommended reading.

I was absolutely sucked into this novella I could not put it down to save my life. I love it so much and it has to be one of my favorite things I’ve read this year. It was cute, funny, adorable, spicy, second change romance. I cannot wait to read the next book in the series and others by this author.

Short, sweet HEA
This was a sweet little story that hit all the right spots.
Darren had been her crush as the brother to her best friend Dot not understanding that he was actually totally into her as well but family insecurities and misunderstandings caused to much time lose between them.
Quite a full story in only a few pages. I'm on to book 2 for Dot and William's story.
