Yes. Next manga, please!

As if I’m usually so terse. This was interesting and not exactly what I was expecting from the title. I thought it was going to be an examination of female desire or sexuality in the vein of Sex Ed 120% or Asumi-chan is Interested in Lesbian Brothels.

It turns out to be an informative look at the male escort industry in Japan, seen through the eyes of Sono, who loses her job during COVID and, in desperation, blindly takes the first thing offered to her.

And it turns out to be pretty interesting. The agency is a little sketchy, but comes out alright by the standards of ‘other places are a LOT sketchy’. Its inner workings are okay, but it’s the outer workings that make this something a little bit more.

In addition to the minutiae of who would work at this sort of establishment, we see a wide variety of the clients who would use such services. It goes a bit light on the negatives of the industry, but the clientele stories make up for it.

Exploring the nature of women looking for threesomes and another who is a very anxious virgin make for such interesting stories and it was engaging to see the variety of ways the escorts tackle these situations.

The only major complaint is certainly the part where Sono gets voluntold to be the training female for a session on massage and is literally manhandled by several guys. While she does enjoy herself, she’s got no option if she wants to keep her job, so the consent here is incredibly iffy (ie, non-existent). This is definitely a deal-breaker for some people and judge yourself accordingly.

Minus that it’s a good, sex-positive story. Sono slowly comes to get better at her work and I do love that her shock at what she does has largely turned to banality by the end of the first volume. That’s especially believable.

Lots of research went into this and it shows. This won’t be a topic for everybody, but it’s nice to have something smutty that’s both fun and educational AND features adult characters. Bonus points for Sono not being the stereotypical virgin character.

3.5 stars - docked for the awkward non-consensual scene, but the rest is really interesting and a great change of pace so I’ll let it have the nudge back up. That scene is definitely something to be aware of when making your own call here, but I’m looking forward to the next volume.

This was a fun read! An interesting look into the male escort industry. We get to see sexual desire from a couple different women and their experiences with sex. From a couple wanting to get their sex life back on track to a virgin with absolutely no experience. It was a quick light read. My only complaint is when the main character was basically told to do the client training, she didn’t really have a choice. Other than that I enjoyed this one.

I really enjoyed this one! You have Sono, just a 28-year-old girl shit out of luck with Covid and losing her job. Out of desperation, she joins Honey Time, a male escort service, as their office manager!

It’s a lot of fun seeing her send these guys out on jobs, while also getting flustered easy, especially when she has to act as a "practice model" for the guys to refine their massage techniques. It’s nice to learn the business as I don’t have too much knowledge of escort services. The book does a great job explaining that it’s not just about the physical stuff, it’s often about providing emotional support for women in sexless marriages or those just looking for a bit of validation.

I also really liked Sono as a main lead, and her crew of helpless men doing jobs (who turn out to be surprisingly sweet). There are some really funny and cute moments throughout the volume that keep the vibe light. Sad it’ll only be a two-volume long series, but I enjoyed the first volume immensely!

Ahahaha, das war super witzig! Und auch sehr interessant - einige Dinge wusste ich so auch noch nicht (gut, die wenigsten wissen wohl, wie so ein Escort Service abläuft!? 😂).
Für mich mal was ganz anderes, aber hatte so viel Spaß beim Lesen und irgendwie war's auch sehr wholesome. Man kann sich sehr gut in Sono und auch die anderen Charaktere der Agentur hineinversetzen. Alle haben einen ziemlich unterschiedlichen Charakter, kommen aber wunderbar zusammen aus. Und wie Sono immer wieder reagiert find ich toll - zwar war ich anfangs etwas irritiert, dass sie bei der “Fortbildung” dann doch einfach so ohne großes Murren mitmacht.. aber sie öffnet sich einfach immer mehr dem Business und auch den anderen. Optisch solide mit schönen Details und auch witzigen Grimassen. Die Szenen kommen wunderbar rüber und wirken sehr authentisch. Zum Schluss hin wurd's auch noch sehr interessant und ich möchte direkt weiterlesen bitte! 👀 Ich werd dranbleiben! 💖

This series is going to be so cute and fresh!

Our FMC switches jobs during COVID and ends up working in a sex-positive industry. As someone as inexperienced as her, she first finds herself wondering why women need such a service but then she gradually learns and is able to empathize and learn from not only the patrons, but also her coworker. It's cute to see her navigate what she wants in life and to unlearn some of the stiff teachings of society.

Thanks so much to Edelweiss and the publisher for the DRC. This is a two-volume series and I can't wait to read the next and final installment.

This was great. A lighthearted comedy about an escort service for women. All the escorts are male and they serve female clients. We see the day to day life of the escorts at work, how they train, how they handle clients, and we even see the receptionists who book the jobs. There is a sub plot about one of the receptionists. She's new, almost 30, and very inexperienced. She wants a husband and a family and doesn't understand the work just yet. But we get to watch her getting more and more used to it. Learning about sex toys, helping women be happy, and even being part of a training exercise. All in all this is a very cute and funny manga. I look forward to reading more volumes in the future.

Apart from the obvious answer to the question posed by the title, this is an interesting read. The protagonist ends up working in a secretarial capacity for a male escort service and gets a crash course in sex work (and sex ed). I am, however, rounding down for when she's forced to be the training model for a sensual touch class for the escorts, which she's not okay with and involves both digital and oral sex.

3.5, rounded down, CW for that noncon bit.

hum, not sure how to rate this. on the one hand it's progressive talking so openly and positively about female sexual desire and pleasure. on the other hand, the main character is repeatedly thinking she's getting old (in her 30s) and needs to marry fast!
The scene that bothered me the most is, when she is practically forced to take part in a sexual training of her male colleagues. Not really consensual if you ask me.
Also some other stereotypes are repeated.

I enjoyed this more than I thought I would and I'm glad I gave it a try. This is just about a woman who needed a job and somehow ends up doing clerical work for an escort service for women and the hijinks that ensue. I feel like it's hard to explain what this book really is, but it was a good time and I'll probably pick up the second one.

This manga is sexy, fun and teasing in all the right ways. The art lets your imagination run wild. The story was fantastic and I can't wait for Volume 2!
I firmly believe sex shouldn't be taboo so more books like this are needed. I'll happily post about them all day long!
I would also like to add, this is my first EVER manga I have read, I want/ need more.
