Callie and Asher's story is a classic YA, friends to lovers romance.
When I first started reading (and without giving too much away,) I didn't like Asher at all. In fact, I thought he was a complete ar$ehole. He had a lot to do to turn things around for me, but the fact that
I absolutely loved this steamy story might tell you what I felt about him by the end.
I love Bethany Rayne's easy writing style and vivid descriptions which take you effortlessly into the world of Heathley Academy. I honestly thought she couldn't top her first book in this series, but it's a close call - I'm still uncertain which is my favourite. Perhaps I love them equally!
Either way, I highly recommend this fantastic Academy romance and can't wait to read more in the series.

This is the second book in the series and I have to say it is my favourite of both books. The story wasn’t as dark as I was expecting, but it definitely covers some darker subjects. Callie and Asher are two lost souls. They’re proof that money can’t buy you everything. It was good to watch them warm to each other. It was obvious the chemistry between them was off the charts, the only two that couldn’t see the connection was them. To keep the suspense going there was a moment or two that kept me on the edge of my seat.
All in all, the story was the perfect length, the characters were likeable, and the it flowed well. I liked how this book wasn’t like the first book, back and forth from past and present, it was just a perfect mix in this book. A definite one click if you like a college romance.

I loved reading about Callie and Asher!
Especially after Delilah and Graysons book.
Callie’s storyline was heartbreaking, she had to deal with the guilt of thinking she was the reason her mother died.
I loved how Asher fell for her and he just protected her. Even though he said he’d never settle down, he knew he loved Callie far before Callie even knew they were more than sexual benefits.

Omg loved Callie's and Ashers story, this is book 2 and their love story did not disappoint!
We have an enemy to lovers... they hate each other but don't really know why, but the chemistry 🔥

This is book 2 in the Heathley Academy. It is a story about enemies to lovers. Callie and Asher have SO MUCH chemistry. It's unreal and truly a page turner!

After reading The Absence Of You I was dying to read The Consequence Of You. Definitely love this book. Callie and Asher’s story just tugged at my heartstrings. This book reeled me in beginning to end.
Callie has kept a lid on her emotions for years after going through a traumatic event. Not feeling good enough and that she doesn’t deserve happiness. My heart broke for her when I found out what she has been holding in that big heart of hers. Asher sees the real Callie and shows her how valuable and precious she is. Asher has dealt with a lot of neglect from his family my heart hurts for him too. I love how their relationship went from hate to love after they both learned about each other. People hide their true emotions by being someone they are not or closing themselves off from everyone. It takes the right person to be able to let you be your true self without any judgement. This book was absolutely amazing.
I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. Definitely recommend this book as well as the first one in the series. Bethany Rayne is fast becoming a new favourite author of mine!!!

If you’re looking for a binge worthy book, this is it! Asher and Callie’s story is one I could not put down.
I knew I wanted to read their story when I read book one but I had no clue the emotional toll it would have. The banter between the two is just so good, but it’s not just that. It’s the chemistry and growth the characters develop even from book one.
This is a book you just have to dive into without hesitation no spoilers! I will warn again it is an emotional ride, but it has everything in this book! Laugh out loud moments, to heart felt moments, and even nail bitting moments. With an of course the HEA.

I have just eaten this story up between Callie and Asher. It was great to finally read their story after reading the perfectly written story of Grayson and Dahlia.
Bethanys writing is superb! Just the right amount of description and suspense to keep you reading chapter after chapter.
I thoroughly loved seeing the other side of these two characters, and seeing their love unfold was truly fantastic to read.

The Consequences of You by Bethany Rayne is an amazing enemies to lovers steamy romance. This is book 2 in the Heathley Academy series. This story centers around Callie and Asher. Callie is emotionally scarred leading her to isolate herself from anything that makes her happy d/t past events in her family. Asher is a royal who appears to have the world at his feet except he lacks love and attention. Callie and Asher end up coming together to love one another to finally be able to heal. Fantastic read!

Unputdownable!!!
I am addicted to this series and loved this enemies to lovers book.
The heat between them is off the charts as is their banter.
I read this book in one day, because I had to keep turning this pages to find out what happens next.
