I’ve always been a strong believer in karma, but reading this book by Meetu Bisht helped me look at it with deeper clarity.
The book explains karma not just as a mystical concept, but as something very practical: every action we take is karma. Every course of action generates emotions happiness or sorrow and these emotions shape the results we experience in life.
What resonated with me most is the idea that our current suffering or joy is not random. It is directly connected to the actions we’ve taken, consciously or unconsciously. To truly step into the power of karma, we must become more self-aware. Instead of blaming circumstances, we need to reflect: What action led me here? What can I change within myself?
This awareness is where transformation begins. By recognizing our mistakes, realigning our actions, and acting with consciousness, we regain our inner power and shape a better future.

diving into 'To the Beginning of the End of Karma' by Meetu Bisht was a deep, self-reflective journey for me. the big thing I got from it was that karma's all about making choices and being aware, not just getting punished the author said, "Karma goes away when you're really aware," reminding us that freedom isn't about being scared of what might happen but about living your life honestly and taking responsibility for your actions.
I really enjoyed the karma and money karma parts. They were quite revealing. they showed me how our unnoticed habits control our lives, and the key thing is learning how to break free from them. her advice is super straightforward but powerful, it gets people to stop just going with the flow and actually pay attention to life

To all those who seek to find the answers to everything Karma, this is your book, the bible that you have to read if your head is burning with unanswered questions about Karma, Death, Rebirth, Souls, *How karma works,
*How it is different from Destiny,
*Types of Karma,
*How to deal with Karma,
*The responsibilities that we all have to endure if we want to burn our karmas,
*How karma is not here to punish you but to liberate you,
*Karma is complicated and hence instead of trying to understand how it works, just do your work without complaining.
I took almost 6-8 months reading this book, as this book is not something that can be hurried upon, and read once, I read, paused , made notes and basically took my time to read this book and absorb all that i could at my level of understanding. Maybe I will refer to it again as and when needed.
In a sense you can say, this book does haev referance to the Bhagvat Gita, because how could it not, Lord Krishna has basically explained the same things in Gita, only to understand and to put into practise is difficult.
I have been reading about Karma since many years now and I do have a fair knowledge about it (That's what I consider), yet the more you read, the more mysterious it gets. I have now made my peace about figuring out the why's and how's in my life and trying to find out what I did wrong or correct that the current life Karma has come to play in my life.
In explainably the more you know about Karma, the more you feel that it is a web that has been woven intricately and designed through our life lessons where life on earth is a school and the more lessons we learn, the more we are promoted to the next levels.
If you take few things out of this book, it shoudl be this --
1)Don't compare your life with anyone else, everyone is on a different path through different lifetimes
2)Learn from what is happening to your life by noticing the repeating patterns and then learn the lessons
3)Live consciously so that you are aware of the choices you are making, as every choice has its own consequence
4)We will come back to reap the rewards in the same manner that we come back to reap our mistakes and learn from them.
5)The harder the life of any person, the more lessons his soul has undertaken to learn in this lifetime
6)Everybody has a free will and hence imposing timlines and your control over them will not help
If you are a newbie in spirituality, then I would suggest to read the other 2 books by this author and then come to this one, as this one is not meant for beginners.
I would like to applaud Meetu for explaining the complex Karma so well in this book that it would help to quest the thirst for knowledge in the minds of people seeking the answers.

My favourite chapters from this book are -"Past Lives and karma", "Ego: The Cause of Karma" , " Our Feelings and Karma". One of the best thing I appreciate about the book it's way of addressing ' Ego' - The most common and fast spreading disease in todays world. To know about ego, it's effect,way to escape from it,you should definitely pick this book.

The book is divided into three sections. Each section contains different parts and knowledge about karma. I personally love the last section most. It captures the pure essence, meaning ,new perspective of Karma. The term 'Karma' itself holds mystery that we rarely understand. And to unfold the mystery behind the term this book is much needed. You will be surprised after reading it, knowing different shades of Karma and it's cause. Bisht offers a deep, logical, practical approach through her writing. The approach is simple, well crafted,easy to understand. I appreciate the crafting of the chapters. Each chapter is crisp and engaging, without the weight of unnecessary details. Each one is well balanced and precise .
What I also love about this book is the use of quotes and practical examples. It make this book more approachable and easy to read. I have never read any such book that shows deep analysis, logical facts, about karma like this one. My favourite chapters from this book are -"Past Lives and karma", "Ego: The Cause of Karma" , " Our Feelings and Karma". One of the best thing I appreciate about the book it's way of addressing ' Ego' - The most common and fast spreading disease in todays world. To know about ego, it's effect,way to escape from it,you should definitely pick this book.

Infact I picked it up as I had read two of her previous books 'Living Spirituality' and 'Why We Are Who We Are' and they were absolutely profound reads. Not only they broadened my perspective towards spirituality but also made me contemplate on my choice of actions.
The subject of karma many a times feels too heavy or too confusing to many, but this book helps readers look at it in a much more grounded way.
The language is calm yet direct, you can check from the few pages I have shared above, and the author doesn’t speak down to the reader, she speaks with you.
Her tone felt like a wise friend guiding me through the tangled web of choices, patterns, and emotional loops I didn’t even know I was stuck in.

This book did not comfort me, it exposed me
I recently completed reading To the Beginning of the End of Karma and to be honest I did not expect much from it. The title felt a little heavy and serious but something told me to just try it once.
After starting the book I realised it is not some big spiritual lecture.
It actually talks about simple things that we all go through in daily life.
The author connects karma with our emotions, thoughts and small decisions that we usually ignore.
While reading I suddenly felt like many times we keep facing the same situation again and again because we never understand the reason behind it.
There was one line in the introduction that honestly made me stop for a moment. The author says that "Our growth totally depends on how well we understand our own karma and how we deal with it."
It really hit me because most of the time we blame other people or our past. But the actual work is to look inside and change the pattern.
The writing style is very calm and simple.
There are no difficult words or anything confusing.
I actually felt like the book is talking to me personally.
It does not give direct advice but it makes you think.
I had to keep the book down after few pages just to reflect on my own life.
Personally, this book came at the right time. I was feeling very stuck and confused about why some things keep repeating. After reading few chapters I started understanding the reasons and somewhere it gave me a little peace from inside.
I will definitely suggest this book to anyone who is in a phase of self questioning or who wants a little clarity in life.
You cannot finish this book in one go. It is the type of book that requires slow reading and little bit of time to absorb.
And I must say, re-reading the book is very important as it will give you different perspectives everytime you read.

Each one has different meanings and views about the term karma. And we tend to work and believe in it blindly. But if we get to know what actually resides behind the term karma and how to tackle it by following a few steps, it makes it easier to overcome it. When I was in the midst of that phase, I got hold of this book. I have learned a few things from it, which are summarized as follows.
The book is divided into three sections:
Cause & Creation—In this section it shares the information about the law of karma, our past lives and their causes, and tendencies. It comprises more detailed theory about ancient sayings; how ego plays a vital role in the seed of karma; how our behaviour, greed, and negative energy are interconnected; and the basis of karmic creation (tendencies, conditioning, habits, character, and deeds). Attracting positive energy leads to work on the transformation of karmic deeds.
Method & Manifestation—In this section we get to know more about Vedic astrology with four different types along with deeper meanings. We sometimes feel I’ve always been good and done good for everyone, but why am I the only one who suffers the most? But here I got the meaning: a good one needs to work on and settle more challenges in a short time. It helps to keep them evolving in life.
Course & Action—After getting to know about the past deeds and methods to work, at the end we get to know about how to put them into action. In this section we are shared with different scenarios for ego awareness, relationships, courage, loss of powers, and our feelings (do as you feel, stay light, and so on).
On the whole, the book is packed with detailed information and new perspectives on karma.

As June comes to an end, I am so happy that I have finished my most anticipated read for this month. Personally, June started with the motivation to improve and work upon myself. And so I picked various non-fictional books to read which revolved around improving mindset and grow spiritually. And that was the time when I came across this book which I found interesting because it revolved around spiritual growth.
Now that I have finished reading this book, I would say go and read this book now!!! The book is written in depth. Right from introducing various terms and their importance and effects to how we can improve it and avoid doing things which would lead to bad karma is written. The book is divided into 3 sections -
- First talks about Karma.
- Second section talks about Karma but in more detail. It introduces us to the tendencies of the karma and its working.
- Third and last section talks about how we are dependent and affected by karma.
I loved this book throughout. Right from its first page the author has maintained a certain way of writing which keeps the reader engaged even when the book is non-fictional. The readers who are new to spiritual books might find the first section heavy and deep, but the reading should be continued. Once the base is understood, next chapters become clearer.
There are many things which I came across after reading this book, as a person who is keen on growing spiritually found this book very impactful. The author has put wisdom and knowledge into this book and I am so grateful to reading this book.

To the Beginning of the End of Karma by Meetu Bisht is much more than just a book; it is a wonderful epiphany done with grace. I was drawn to this book even before I started reading it, one of the main reasons for that was definitely the soothing cover design and the colour palette.
Meetu reads as that warm friend who is always right there for you but also like a lifelong teacher of our human experience: she debunks karma not as an act of the universe to punish us, but as a pattern that we can identify, understand, and rewrite gently. Headed from the depths of our sacred text traditions (like the Bhagavad Gita), Meetu brings the teachings to bear on modern day issues, (relationships, finances, health) bridging the gap from our ancient wisdom to our everyday life.
Her voice is soothing, the water just barely lapping at our feet, and she is a simple woman with powerful practicality wrapped around her fingers. This book will enrich you and also help you understand that Karma is not something to fear. It is not something which is out of your area of control. It is not something that we need to worry about. Karma is one thing I strongly believe in life. Our actions are the reactions to the events that never happen even when we wish to attain them. I never had in-depth knowledge of Karma. Basically, what I know is if you do good, that reaches in some way, and if you cheat anyone, that happens the very next moment in our lives. But this book gave me more insights and a sense of profundity.
The writing was lucid to follow the writing. Before starting ever chapter there were wonderful quotes from emninent people. My first impression was in the first chapter where the line was “Everything in the universe is in order. Nature follows this order”.
Starting from the basic thing what’s is Karma, how the author slowly progresses the knowledge of Karma. Split into three sections, and my personal favorite section was the second one. I was amazed how much I loved every minute while reading it. I always adored people who always smile and are kind, though they have different problems in life. It’s just a great thing to be kind because if we keep smiling, it will be even better to face life’s challenges. Even we, about some people who take social responsibility, might look privileged. It’s not because they have to deal with their past and present karmic debt too.
