While I enjoyed the story overall, the timeline was a bit confusing occasionally. A significant amount of time would pass without any indication and I would be confused for a couple paragraphs before I pieced it together. I’m unsure if this would have been helped by reading the first book in the series as they seemed to occur at the same time.
