Disconnect is the sequel to Last Call.

Derek and Stiles are dating for four months now, and they have developed a cozy, loving relationship.

Since they met, Derek has never stopped marveling at Stiles’ uniqueness.

Stiles is unlike anyone Derek’s ever met. He smiles like it’s easier than breathing, and he gives and he gives and he gives.

A little angst, lots of sweetness. Recommended!

This is the sequel to Last Call and it is lovely, lovely, lovely to just read about their relationship and their happiness - especially Derek's.

Throw in some morning delight because how can you resist that??

There is admittedly some obligatory crisis but that's just to make you feel that much more.

And that scene where Stiles wakes up and his first word is his favorite endearment??? Swoon!!

Sequel to Last Call. A few months after the end of Last Call, Derek and Stiles have fallen into a domestic love birds routine. Until Stiles is seriously injured one day at work does Derek realize how much he really cares for him.

Feels, angst. A lot of time spent in Derek's head thinking about Stiles and their relationship. Pulls on some heart strings, but there is an HEA and you know it's coming, so you will be okay through it.

You definitely have to read Last Call to get into the emotional headspace for this story.

Derek was very affected by Laura's death, to the point of isolating himself from others, avoiding relationships. But after meeting Stiles, it was effortless to fall in love with him, to open up his heart again. And you see that in the thoughts and actions he goes through at Stiles' bedside as well as in the sweet moments of their morning together. And, at the hospital, how Derek regrets not saying 'I love you' earlier that morning; how he comes to realise how much he cares for Stiles and what an important role he now plays in his life; how he can hardly make himself leave Stiles' side and constantly praying for Stiles to be ok.

Such a lovely reading!

This was better than the 1st book in this seriesLast Call

But as I said for the 1st book, this also lacked the same-the connection and chemistry between Derek and Stiles which is the most essential element of their relationship, was just not there

Apart from chemistry, story was good

Overall, for this part-3 stars

This is a perfect little series. Two short stories, both equally sweet without being saccharine, with a bit of smexy smexin thrown in. This one has some sadder moments but of course we all know it'll work out.

Oh. Punch-to-the-solar-plexus type of oh. Absolutely lovely, with ALL the feels, and regret and angst and worry and hurt in a tangled mess that resolves itself into the prettiest bow of Sterek love.
