THE ROME UNBOUND CHRONICLES an epic and brutal historical series about the fight for Britannia

Rate this book
In the far-flung corners of the Roman Empire, a brutal war is raging for the fate of Britannia. Experience the fierce battles of blood, sweat, and steel of Rome's deadliest frontier in one complete volume.

64 AD, Britannia. Quintus Liberius Verus, a battle-hardened centurion marked by blood and glory, is sent to the edge of the known world — a land untamed by Roman law and ruled by fierce warriors who bow to no emperor. Here, in the frozen wilderness beyond the empire’s grasp, the Ninth Legion must face an enemy unlike any they have the relentless Caledonian tribes, united under a ruthless warlord bent on destruction and freedom.

In the shadowed mists of ancient Britannia, Rome's iron legions waged a relentless campaign to tame the wild edge of the empire. Conquered in name but never in spirit, the island simmered with rebellion — tribes like the Brigantes and Caledonians refusing to bow to Roman rule. For decades, Britain was both prize and punishment for ambitious generals and exiled soldiers. But as uprisings ignite and loyalties fracture, the lives of a disgraced centurion, a defiant slave, and a Roman traitor turned barbarian collide in a brutal fight for survival, vengeance, and destiny.

From savage ambushes on the frontier to the opulent yet perilous heart of Roman power, The Rome Unbound Chronicles is an epic saga of war, ambition, and the unyielding spirit of men bound by duty. Experience the roar of the legion’s charge, the sting of betrayal, and the fire of a warrior’s heart as Rome’s northernmost legions battle to tame a wild land — or be consumed by it . . .

Perfect for fans of Conn Iggulden, Simon Scarrow, Bernard Cornwell, and readers of Roman military fiction.

I really did enjoy the way he wove the story indeed the stories together with a modicum of fact and much more narrative from the characters.
The disappointing things were two fold one I started highlighting all the spelling or wrong word errors. Really quite a few no more than three pages before I came across more.
The most disappointing was being left high and dry the “end” which was a beginning!!! A beginning heading towards the whole point or theme of the books! Seriously I thought maybe I had missed a turn or another book but nope!! Left dangling
