Irán a destruir a "El Sindicato"? Aaron y Vincent se convertirán en pareja? Que va a pasar con Carter y Joshua? Y Sebastian? Que hará cuando descubra quien es Eric?
Así que vamos hacia el último libro de la serie, esperando que valga la pena el final.

Holy fucking shit!!!!
As with all of Kol's reads, I feel like strangling him at the end if it. (In the best possible way) A journey of emotions once again.
Utterly blown away by his fluidity, grace and ability to suck you into the chasm through his writing. I won't put any spoilers but you are left shouting at the book. I can't wait to see where Kol takes this next.
God damn brilliance. I bow down once again to the master in this class.

4.5 star review by The Blogger Girls.

You think this is the finale, and you think you will finally know what will happen, but this is Kol we are talking about. Just when you think you know what direction things are going, they take a different turn. Characters you thought one way about, you now think another. If you have followed along this far, you are surely wanting to see some closure for these guys on some level. Unfortunately, we don’t quite get it here. Or fortunately, since that means we will be getting more. :)

Aaron is more conflicted than ever after meeting with Vince again. Vince is a bit conflicted as well, I believe. You would think Aaron would want to run and hide as far away from the possibility of going back as he can, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. Although, right out of left field, since I completely forgot about the shady evil Eric, things change again for Aaron rather drastically.

Then there is Carter, who is now at his new owner’s place. We only get a glimpse of what he may now face, but it doesn’t look good.

Again, as with all of the books in this crazy series, I was left grumbling at my kindle. I love every tidbit Kol gives us, and always long for more. This one is no different. I love the twists and turns and unexpected change of events which make for a pretty darn exciting, edge of my seat read. You surely cannot go wrong with the price either. These are definitely worth the one-click, in my opinion.

You know how your intuition looses to your mind. You keep seeing all these red flags, but a part of you throws caution to the wind disregarding self preservation.

I kept reading the last paragraph over and over again. I'm an emotional wreck right now (if you haven't noticed I'm slightly dramatic). I know these are all fictional characters. But, it doesn't make any damn difference to me at all right now. I'm getting a drink of something hard.

Thanks Kol, can't wait for the next one!

2.5 stars from me. My review is from the heart, and it’s been painful for me to write BUT honest criticism is called for here. Unfortunately, this story is another example of those that fall into the category of definitely not being one of Kol’s best. In my humble opinion, on a scale of 1 to 10 with Vincent’s story being 10, this would rate around a 3 or 4 at most.

As far as I’m concerned, we learned nothing new in this story..at all. Carter has been imprisoned/sold/with his new owner..and a year has passed. How has THAT happened?? How can he have ‘Stockholm Syndrome’ type feelings for a guy that hasn't had anything to do with him?? Vincent and Aaron I could understand, at least they were in contact every day but Carter and ‘Master’, nope. I’ve got to the stage where I don’t really care about Carter any more, he's a wimp and just so accepting of it all whereas Aaron wasn’t, he fought even though he was drugged. It doesn’t appear that Joshua is tearing the place apart trying to find Carter either, as he goes off and beds a woman...REALLY?? And the ending?? My reaction was ‘Oh no, not again!!...but not in a horrified, shocked way, sadly it was just so utterly predictable.

Where do we go from here?? I have absolutely no idea I’m afraid, but truthfully Kol, I’d rather have quality over quantity any day, so if that means you take longer to write these stories and get the editing tweaked (Mr Carlton indeed!!), then I’m all for it.

A lot of sycophantic rubbish has been written in some reviews recently for Kol's other stories. It's time to be honest, and I know you prefer me to be honest and not a lemming.

Even though this wasn't one of your best, thank you for the ARC

This is the one i was most scared to read...I've come to the conclusion I have a Kol Anderson fetish and I think I need therapy..Be Warned this does have a cliffhanger and Kol...I DON'T DO CLIFFHANGERS>>>>OMG NO NO NO NO....And relax....We find more of Carter in this one with his new master but he's not happy....and not for the right reason....His master is ignoring him and that's scaring him.....Vincent is still as bad as ever and is threatening Aaron to stay away from helping who he says he can't help.....Aaron ignores him....Yes we all remember Eric and know he's the bad guy.....And though i'm not giving away any spoilers we all know this is not going to end well for Aaron and now we have to wait for Season 3....Well done Kol but seriously..I do not like you at the minute ;) x

I've been addicted to this series since the beginning. It's dark, it had tension, it has made me cry for Aaron and then Carter and I always eagerly await the next installment. For all of those reasons it pains me to say that this last installment actually left me bored and wondering what happened to the momentum of the story and the characters I have come to either love or hate.

Carter is with a new master, but although we are introduced to a number of new people there and spend a lot of story time with them, we learn very little about that arrangement. We also don't know what happened to Tristan, who played a large part helping Carter in a previous episode. Joshua, who is gay and whose boyfriend Carter has now been missing for one year, is still supposed to be devastated and hoping Aaron can help get him back, does something completely out of character that in my opinion served no purpose in the story.

Aaron is now having conflicting feelings about Vincent, who continues to contact him in an attempt to convince Aaron he wants to help and Sebastian is barely an afterthought. It was not until the last paragraphs when something that has been coming for a while now finally happened.

After the high that was Vincent's story in the last episode, this installment left me wondering whether I want to continue with the story or not. The storyline felt dragged out and a lot of new people were introduced into Carter's situation, while Carter as a character seems to have changed overnight into someone I no longer care about. I hate to say that this did not work for me at all, but I would like to see Aaron and Vincent's story come to a resolution.

So if you're like me and always waiting anxiously for the next Broken series book, well the wait is over, people! Starting 11-1-14 you'll be able to get your hands on this puppy!

Ok. So in The Replacement we start off with Carter being stuck in a dark basement waiting for- Maybe I should let you find out how it all starts out. And shortly after we come across Aaron where he's in the tub- Sorry. Don't want to spoil. Then Joshua ends up- Don't think you'll appreciate me sharing that one either. Carter finally gets to- Damn, have to keep that to myself as well. Aaron goes ahead and accepts- Nope, sorry. Then poor Carter- Shit! Can't tell you that one either. And then at the end...OMG is all I'm saying!

Actually, I haven't said much in this review have I? But then again if you've gotten this far into the series you don't need to be told that you need to get your hands on this one. And if you happened to stumble upon this "review" and have yet to start the series...what are you waiting for?

I love this series. I like how it alternates between dark and depraved drama. This is more of a look inside piece. We find out where everyone stands right now.

Carter, probably as a defense mechanism, is accepting and starting to crave what has been happening to him.
Didn't matter what the world thought, or what his previous self thought of him, Carter knew he had done all of it to survive, and he had survived.
It wasn't so black and white, it wasn't so cut and dry, it just wasn't—
I'm wondering what's up with Master...Why is he acting that way toward Carter? Carter and Joshua...both have been so emotionally deadened that I don't see how there could be anything between them in the future.

Aaron is finding that it isn't so easy to return to life as it was before.
And sure enough, one of those things or some combination of all of those things, became far too difficult to bear any longer and Aaron gave in, gave up—he didn't know yet.

I really liked the idea of him fantasizing about Vince. I love that both have gotten under each other's skin. And I am eager to find out given Aaron's current disposition and situation, how the next meeting between them will go. Just wanna throw in, I wouldn't be opposed to Sebastian shooting Eric in a future episode.

Meh.

Most underwhelming story in the series and especially in "season 2".

My issue with these episodes and different season is not the story line, the fucked-up-ness of it all or the torture, rape and human trafficking. No, its in the grammatical errors and choppiness of the writing.

I have read all these books in a matter of an hour or so and it really irks me when the grammatical errors bring me outside of the story. It was all I could concentrate on. Not only that, but the detachment and choppiness of the writing kind of ruined it all for me. I was not into this book and while yes, the ending was a "shocker", it wasn't anything I was super surprised by.

On to the next!

End of season 2!

Pulling my hair out.... I don't like Eric. Why couldn't Aaron listen to everything Vincent had to say? Why wouldn't he stop and think just a bit? Vincent kept his word, now will Vincent rescue him?

REVIEWED FOR PRISM BOOK ALLIANCE

Out of all the books since this saga started this is my least favourite. I love the unapologetic way Kol Anderson writes and Vince and Aaron have made me laugh, cry and shout at my kindle but this book just felt different.

There are a lot of characters to follow, keep track of and remember and I find myself not caring about some of them. Carter felt a little insipid in this instalment. He was moved to live with his new owner and almost immediately is upset at not getting the attention he thinks he deserves. There seems to be little fight or strength in him – he just automatically wants to lie back and please. His boyfriend Joshua is even weaker and ends up in bed with an old school friend, a female old school friend!

The person I am really interested in is Aaron. He is still trying to fight the bad guys and keep his head in the real world long enough to recover. His dreams are haunted my Vincent, his daydreams have become haunted by Vincent and now his every day real life is becoming haunted by Vincent. Vincent has resorted to following him when he is alone just to talk to him and warn him off. You have to wonder what else Vincent wants.

The ending killed me! We know Eric is a selfish bastard and in it up to his neck but I was not expecting that. Really….again? I am curious to see how that one will play out. The damage, the torture…it’s already been done and where on earth will Vincent stand on it all? Also, when the hell is Sebastian going to wise up?

We await Season 3.

I am extremely frustrated and disappointed!!! At the end of Season 2 we are left with SOOOO many unknown loose ends! Anderson please, please tell me you have already finished the next book and even better, please, please tell me it's a complete book (one where we aren't left hanging at the end, wondering what is going to happen next)!?? All of the books in this series are torturous! I always think I'll find the answers to my questions in the next book yet I actually end up with even more questions by the time I'm finished reading that book! Although these tiny, "books" frustrate me to the point of insanity, they are so damn addicting! This book was especially crazy; Carter meets his new master… wow- very bizarre! The people Carter lives with are quite interesting too. I would love to know who they are and what their stories are but here I am, left wondering once again. And what happened to Aaron? What happened to Vincent? Anderson always leaves me wondering!

Not The Best.

Too many questions with this part. Why introduce new characters near the end of the story. Carson/Carlton, back story inaccuracies. Time to wrap it all up.
