I found this book engaging and sensory-rich. The well-developed characters and the tension between Finn and Keira drove the story. While I hoped to learn more about what happened in Dubai, it was Keira's uncle Cathal who played a major role. The themes of danger, angst, and revenge featured a mix of good and evil characters, making it hard to put down.

The series is a spin-off from a previous series, Syndicate Masters. It will have a mention of Conchobar ‘Con’ O’Neill, also known as the Devil of Galway. The story will be about Finn O’Neill and Keira Lynch.

The story has the good, the bad, and the evil. Finn and Keira were to marry, but on their wedding day, a handwritten note would destroy everything, and Keira would flee, leaving Finn at the altar. Keira and Finn’s story takes us back to Galway or at least to the characters we know and love from Galway, Con and Katie O’Neill ! Finn is his nephew and Keira is the woman who got away! We find them coming full circle after a wedding day that didn’t happen; due to her Uncle Cathal’s interference. She’s become a preeminent hacker, usually on the correct side of things, but not doing her due diligence has caused a huge problem in Dubai and 2 UAE princes are after her, dead or alive . I loved this storyline ! It brought back 2 of my favorite characters from previous Delta James’ books (even if only as cameos), and brought us from Ireland to Boston, USA . It pairs up leopard shifter Finn with a human ( at least for the foreseeable future ) Keira, by having Finn “buy” her contract, needless to say that puts her and Finn at cross purposes! I loved the setting of this storyline as well, what I didn’t care for was how the main assassin was forgotten while dealing with her uncle, it’s as if he was “out of sight, out of mind”, usually once a contract is accepted, they don’t stop, so he should have been mentioned even just in passing during the epilogue, at least in my opinion. There is major heat between these two, and the sex between them goes back to how it used to be, prior to her running away. 18+ due to this content. This is a 4⭐️ read for me ! This one was extra. I loved the way Finn wasn’t afraid to admit to his feeling for Kiera. Her family had set her up to be a Trojan horse for them thinking that her loyalty would always be theirs they never thought that she would refuse to be used. Kiera was so young and didn’t know how to deal with the betrayal of her family and didn’t know how to fully believe in Finn. Time has a way of rectifying the mistakes we make as young people. Kiera developed into a strong woman who was willing and able to fight for what she wanted and that was Finn.

I thought this book was pretty good. It held my attention from the beginning and the development of the characters was good. The relationship between Finn and Keira was well written. The story seemed a bit unfinished to me, though. There was no resolution of the threat from Riordan. That is why I could only give a 3 star rating. It didn’t meet the standard set by the earlier books in the series for me.

This is a well written second chance fated mate romance with strong characters in Finn and Kiera. The author takes you into their lives with chemistry and love and kept me turning the pages with suspense, mystery and secrets. She moves the story quickly and smoothly and delivers a drama filled read.

Told from dual omniscient third person perspectives (Finn and Keira) HIS REDEMPTION follows in the wake of the wedding that never was. well developed, and I loved that the raw, palpable tension between Finn and Keira was
a theme that ran through the storyline. I expected to learn more about those after
Keira, but only her uncle Cathal featured. There was danger, angst, revenge, and a shifter
theme. There were good and evil characters. The emotional journey between Finn and
Keira made this book especially hard to put down.
This story begins in Galway and three years later moves to Boston, where Finn O’Neill
now controls the family business on behalf of Con O’ Neill. Finn and Keira’s relationship
was complex. Keira left Finn at the altar after discovering she was sacrificed to pay off
family debt. If she only realized that Finn truly loved her and wanted her for himself,
Keira’s life would have taken a different direction. Keira was in danger after her skills
and in-depth knowledge of cracking computer systems were compromised, making her
a target. Finn came to her rescue, but she did not appreciate his help and protection.
Everything he did annoyed her, but she was a bundle of contradictions. One minute,
she wanted to run from Finn, and the next, he made her buzz with need.
Finn managed to worm his way under Keira’s skin. He was a powerful force. An alpha,
a shifter, loyal, and a dominant through and through. He was dangerous, strong, and
always in control. A man on a mission who did whatever it took to keep his mate safe
and recapture her heart.
You could feel the push and pull between Finn and Keira as they struggled to reconnect
and regain the trust they once enjoyed. I did wonder how Keira would accept that Finn
was a shifter and her mate, but after the initial shock, she accepted him and what it

as the level of anticipation kept me glued to each page. This was an entertaining

A simply fantastic shifter and human mate read, once started impossible to put down…
Finn and Kiera had not had the usual meeting and courting, then engagement and marriage proposal and yet their feelings for each other had been real and on the day, she had run leaving him at the alter because of her cruel uncle she had left her heart behind and knowingly also taken his with her.
Kiera had been working on a job hacking into information that had allowed her customer to hold her and threaten her, unbeknown her Finn had come to her aid and agreed a release that had cost the earth but the alternative, her in a cell or dead was not permissible.
When Finn and Kiera come together gain, she is surprised the feelings are still there and she knows that she still loves him and with all that she knows about him she sees that he has continued loving her. Con O’Neil had known there was a connection between each of them and this was why he had allowed her and Finn to form a relationship and she had shown him known she had loved him and had wanted to stay with him.
The Cahal is now determined that he will kill Kierra, they have already tried to attack the compound and kill Con and the other shifters and their mates along with humans staying with them. Finn knows that he has to tell his woman about his shifter heritage and then will wait on tenterhooks to see if she realises that this has always been between the two of them.
I guarantee that you will be captivated by this book and once you begin reading you will find it impossible to put the book down until you reach the end of the book and discover the outcome.
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the wonderful writing.

When Keira left she not only broke her own heart but Finn's as well and she didn't look back but as they always say when 2 people are destined to be together fate will bring them back together and so it happened when Keira is in danger only Finn can save her and the years apart come to an end but they are not the same the time apart has served to make them stronger Keira has become a powerful woman Finn has become more lethal than before and many times Keira wondered if she had gone to Finn maybe the lost years would never have happened and to be honest it broke my heart because I did understand why she left and also Finn's pain of losing his predestined mate was painful but when they get back together the dangers continue to threaten their love that despite the years is still there even though Keira doesn't want to accept it out of fear but Finn showed her that she didn't have to be afraid and that together they could overcome all obstacles but now Finn must reveal the secret of his blood if he wants to start over with Keira and claim her as his mate forever but Cathal has now returned wanting to kill Keira now things have been put on the table only together Keira and Finn will be able to finish Cathal once and for all and so they did together they fought and strengthened that beautiful love they had for each other I truly loved every moment every feeling and with every fiber of my being I fell in love with Finn and Keira, thank you Delta for giving us such a beautiful book ❤️❤️❤️

He's been waiting for her for years, and he can barely contain the anger and irritation that she's found herself in this situation. Keira has always belonged to Finn O'Neill, and thevsoiner she realizes it, and stops running from the inevitable, the better. He stepped in to take the heat off her, take the target off her back. Instead of gratitude, she dished out sass and attitude... not that he expected otherwise, she was always a ball of fire. Keira hates that she's still attracted to him, that he still effects her. She thinks she was simply a pawn back then, and fears it happening again. She couldn't be more wrong, about everything. Well, one exception - her uncle. She's right about him. They both are. This story is a tense and action packed second chance paranormal romantic suspence, a genre in which Delta's creative genius shines. You not only get to know and understand Finn and Keira, but there are cameos from some long time favorites as well. Keep your arms and legs inside the car and buckle up, it's gonna be a bumpy ride!

Keira left Finn O'Neill standing at the altar even though she loved him. She found out that her uncle had offered her up to the O'Neill in hopes of settling a family debt and couldn't stand the thought of knowing Finn didn't really want her for her. Now, she is back in his orbit because he bought her out of some unexpected trouble caused by her hacking. She may owe him, but she doesn't plan to pay with her heart.
Finn was devastated when Keira didn't show up to marry him. He loved her and had thought it lucky that Con had offered her up to him. Though he now knows why she disappeared, he still wants her back under his protection. But Finn has a secret that he never told Keira, and it may be what makes her run from him again.

This is Finn and Kiera's book. It's book four in the Mafia Masters series and imo, the best. Kiera's uncle wanted control of the syndicate. He went after Katie and incurred Con's wrath. Because of that Kiera was given over to Con who realized she was Finn's fated mate. He didn't stop meddling though and wrote a note which caused her to run. Eventually Kiera and Finn end up back together.
Kiera is a strong, stubborn, alpha in her own right. Finn is an overprotective alpha who loves Kiera and has his men trained in military precision. The book flowed quickly and smoothly. The reader feels every emotion between the two main characters. This story grabs the reader from the beginning and makes you so sad it ended. There's no insta love because the story had flash backs where they fell in love. The characters are multi-dimensional and fleshed out. Just stop reading the review and start reading the book. There's no insta love because the story had flash backs where they fell in love. The characters are multi-dimensional and fleshed out. Just stop reading the review and start reading the book. June 19, 2025This is a mafia romance with minimal amount of panther shifting. This story is about a great love lost due to a secret which is revealed before walking down the aisle. There union was to join 2 mafia families a create an alliance.
Extenuating circumstances bring the couple together again, but not in an amiable manner.
Keira is smart as a whip, a black hat, who can physically protect herself. Finn is now running things for his family in Chicago, a tall, well built lean, muscular man with a dominant persona. Their chemistry is electric and both have great self control. An enemy is after Keira and Finn has a need to protect her.
There’s action, suspense and lots of witty banter, hot sex and an enemy now shared.
Fast read, story keeps building keeping you interested and turning page after page. I’m not a shifter fan, but this story was so much more.

I enjoyed reading how Keira and Finn navigated their somewhat disastrous pasts in order to get their second chance. I love reading about a fmc with masterful tech skills. I also loved that Finn had great respect for those skills. Their back and forth banter was both entertaining and intriguing.
I was also interested in the situation Keira found herself in that forced her to run. I didn't quite understand what happened with Riordan and Siobhan's involvement in the situation. I was a little confused on a couple of points, and didn't understand (other than that one very specific act) how the threat to Keira and Finn had been neutralized. It was a good read overall, and would have been rated higher if there had been some clarity on a couple of issues.

There was such passion and devotion between the two, making this a steamy and compelling paranormal read. I liked the intricate relationship that they rekindled, with the new reality of his status as a panther shifter. There was also lots of tension and intrigue as a malevolent enemy stalked Kiera.

This was definitely another amazing book by Delta James, the story was hard to put down, the characters were intriguing. Finn O’Neill, lived in Galway then moved to Boston and now he is in charge the boss of the Irish Mafia his family business. Finn, has found his mate but she is human and he is a powerful panther a shifter. Keira, really likes Finn, but when he tells her all about himself things he never told her the first time they met. They were engaged then on their wedding day he was at the alter waiting for her she was gone. Finn, found her again and they went to his compound only to be threatened by someone bringing Keira as a bargaining power, so her life is in danger unless Finn, does what they want.

I love this series of short, quick, and very exciting reads. Keira left him standing at the alter after discovering that she was nothing more than a sacrifice from on powerful mafia family to another. Finn O'Neill has never wanted any woman like he still wants Keira, and when she returns to Boston, he sees it as his chance to convince her that she will always be his, that she is his mate, and she was never his pawn. But it won't be long before they find out that there is someone hunting her and would use her to get their revenge. These characters are always compelling and kept me engaged in their story from the first page. A dark and steamy mafia romance with a surprising twist and a happily ever after.

This is book 4 in James' Mafia Masters series. A wonderful addition to the series but can easily be read as a standalone. James delights in this well written paranormal, dark mafia romance read. Well written with our main characters being Finn and Kiera. I loved the smooth flowing and captivating storyline that was so well balanced with danger, angst and revenge but also some sweet and definitely heated romance and chemistry. James delivers in a unique way when it comes to paranormal / shifter romance and this book did not disappoint!

The attraction is intense and the past is interfering. Telling Keira he's a panther shifter, she thought he is delusional. Finn being a patient man… not, but truly in love with his fated mated. Finn was willing to do anything to protect Keira.
No real steamy sex scenes. The passion that Delta puts on the page between Finn and Keira is intense.
I have read all 4 books in the Mafia Masters series and so glad I have.
I recommend starting with Book 1. An Excellent series!

This is a standalone story. I liked the HEA for this second chance romantic book.
POV of Finn and Kiera. The flow was good. I loved the banter between them, her sass and of course the steam with the eventual romance.
Action from the start . I loved the twists and Finn's determination to keep Kiera this time. Not running away.
I liked the emotions of Kiera with Finn. You could feel her doubt and your hope that everything will turn out the way it was supposed to be. The uncle was a nice twist.

I give this a 3.5. It had more of a storyline then the previous books which made it more interesting to read. I found it to flow better and was able to finished it in record time. It started with her coming back and human staking his claim trying to keep her safe. She was fighting for independence and he was fighting for love. They always kill me changing the woman to a panther. She seem to take to it quite easily. Overall it was a good quick read.

Finn and Keira certainly had some unfinished business. It's hard to decipher the rejection that both these characters felt. Each in their own way. Both used as pawns. The betrayal and hurt that they both endured, thankfully wasn't for nothing.
Their reconnection was inevitable. Finn was formidable in his pursuit. The heat, fire, and passion was an adrenaline rush. This was a love story like no other. A story that deserved only one outcome. Fight fire with fire. Through their undeniable connection Keira evolved into the woman she was meant to be, and always with Finn by her side. 💜🔥

Delta James has a knack for writing “bad” guys with gooey centers. Despite leaving Finn at the altar due to her uncle Cathan’s machinations, Keira had never been able to completely block off her feelings for Finn. She just wanted to be valued for her self. Finn also had never really lost his love for Keira. When they finally are reunited, though her walls are very high, Finn keeps chipping away to find the Keira who still, loves him. A lot of time spent on him coaxing her trust. A quick read.
