Cursed Shadows: Mageright Academy
I still can’t believe it. I’m a mage, and not just any mage. A Kensington. I’m from a long line of mages with a lot of magic. There’s only one catch.
We’re cursed, or so everyone says.
It does seem that way, though. Everyone in my family dies young—the curse of the Kensingtons. But I think something else is going on. Something to do with the dark magic that keeps hanging around.
I thought I got rid of it at camp, but it’s back, and I think some of the students at Mageright Academy are being controlled by it. I’m so excited to be here, where I can finally learn about my magic, but I have a small problem. Okay, a big problem. Someone knows who I am, and they are trying to control me.
At least I have Dillon with me, my hunky mate, my other half. He’s my everything, and I’m so glad I found him, except I can’t stop thinking about this other guy. Every time I’m near him, my magic bubbles to the surface, wanting to touch him.
So far, Dillon hasn’t noticed. I don't know how to stop my magic and my body from reacting whenever he’s around, but I better figure it out before something bad happens.
