Athena Valentine always wanted an Omega.
Atlas Cassidy just wanted to save them.

But what we ask for isn’t always what we receive.

When Atlas and Athena wake up caged across from each other in an abandoned warehouse after being captured and locked away, the two Betas make a survive and escape.

Together.

The experiments take their toll, and their opportunities for escape are slim. One night, dosed with the heat-inducing drug fizz and soaked in desperation and need, they fall into each other’s arms… and wake to an impossible

They’re not Betas at all.

They’re Omegas.

And somehow, they’ve bonded.

Before they can begin to process what that means, Pack Lupine storms the lab and pulls them out, battered, altered, and irrevocably changed. Healing won't be easy, especially not when Atlas and Athena discover they’re scent-matched to their saviors.

There’s no manual for bonding with a lab-created Omega. Or two. As Pack Lupine struggles to make space for two Omegas that weren't supposed to be, one question

Can what was broken ever become whole again?

I'm pretty sure this is the only book I've ever read where I had a cry counter. I knew it was going to break me but omg. The characters emotions just felt so real and lept from the page to my brain 😭.

Two omegas is really hit or miss for me but it was done so well. Probably because they were absolutely obsessed with each other. Like couldn't pry them apart if you tried and I feel like that's something you need if you're going to have two omegas.

While this book was HEAVY there was plenty of humor, spice, and relationship building to keep it from being overwhelming.

This was the worst book of the series. The author has so much potential to do more of a deep dive into to the characters trauma and make the pack have more than one woman and she didn’t. This book was rushed and sloppy and I DNF’d the last 50 pages. It was too easy. The author also became snippy when I mentioned how I was disappointed that she didn’t add another female into the pack. Like girl this book was just bad and you flopped it hard. Take some feedback and don’t be upset at writers who say they don’t enjoy it.

I love this series. It's such an interesting addition to a widely known genre. I love the take on scents and scent matches. I've also loved that we get glimpses of past characters - Icky is still my favourite. He's adorably awkward and given the mention of him being claimed as the Hawks doctor without him knowing/realising this gives me hope he will be making appearances in their series too!

“I will always find you. We traveled to hell together. There is nowhere you could go that I will not join you. I love you, Athena. You are a part of me. I am nothing without you by my side.”

Athena, Atlas and Ethel's stories were so tragic. What happened to Ethel was heart breaking and the affect it had on Athena's trauma was tragic. I loved how both Atlas and Athena's trauma wasn't glossed over, it wasn't mentioned then forgotten, it's very much present throughout this - even in the ending/epilogue there's a nod to it. There's no magic fix to trauma. Trauma can affect and shape you your entire life even if you've healed and/or moved passed it.

I also loved the Lupine pack. Each of them really balanced the others very well. Charles kind of annoyed me in the begining. He was raised with traditional values (though not the typical alphas are supreme, omegas are property type, rather omegas are to be cherished, they shouldn't have to lift a finger way), and it definitely caused him to but heads with everyone, but his character evolution was great. He really grew throguhout this with the help of his omegas, his packmates and more importantly an open mind.

The story itself was very well written, it had a really good pace and it fit perfectly with the relationship development and previous books.

This was such an amazing addition to the Lunarcrest City OV. I loved seeing the two of the "omegas" come together. Reading the trauma between the two of them was so hard. Seeing how right away Athena already has problems and then is thrown into this situation. Once there she is able to make friends with another omega. Then we meet Atlas. He has been working so hard to help rescue and save omegas. While there he is placed near Athena, knowing they are being put through all the horrifics that they were was awful. Atlas kept that eternal sunshine to help Athena. The two of them were so important to each other and I loved their relationship. I do think it must have been so hard going from having your life be one way and then have it become gone in a very traumatic way is hard to comprehend.

Atlas had so much trauma surrounding him as he became this omega and grappling with it was difficult. I am glad he had his friends to support him and grow with him into their pack. Athena only wanted an omega to love and spoil, and once it was on her that she became this she wanted to give in but not at the expense of losing herself. The alphas in this pack were so amazing, they were the most understanding and caring alphas. Even if their care was not welcomed at all times, they were doing their best to support them.

This was such an amazing story of learning who you can be, overcoming difficulties and learning to love who you are and the others around you.

I tried keeping count of how many times I cried and/or teared up and then I lost track after 7 times in the first quarter of the book. This was an absolute emotional roller coaster that broke me and then slowly put me back together. I can’t even put into words how much I love this book. I was hooked from the dedication and I finished it in less than a day. I will forever be thinking about this book and it will forever be one that I recommend to everyone.

Now if you’ll excuse me. I need to go play Tetris.

A nice ending for Athena and Atlas

This one was a wild ride. It had darker themes than the first 2 books but was no where near as dark as the 3rd. (Knot All is Crystal)
This one picked up where that one ended and you essentially get to see the aftermath of what they had to endure during and after their abductions.
This one will definitely pull at your heartstrings so be warned. I didn't boohoo cry but I did feel that pang of sadness imagining the pain Athena felt towards Ethel.

I love it. I could not put it down. This book made me feel so much and I cried a lot. I really love how Athena and Atlas found love and each other out of their trauma. I really enjoyed reading this book and this series. Holly Monroe is an amazing author and I really enjoyed all her books. Can’t wait for the next one.

I have loved all of the other Lunarcrest City Books and the final one did not disappoint. Atlas and Athena go through such a heartwarming journey together as they dissect their trauma and learn how to be themselves with their new reality. I fell in love with all of the Alphas and I'm such a sucker for 2 omegas with attachment issues to each other.
Sebastian made me fall in love with his goofy absentmindedness and you could tell he was in love with them so wholeheartedly. Harvey was such a rock for Athena and the way they bonded over their scars was so necessary and sweet. Wyatt and Atlas are truly such a good pairing together. Their story together felt so natural that they should have ended up together all along. Charles was so caring and I love getting to see him change his perceptions about how Omega's should be cared for. He cares so much about both Atlas and Athena and was truly willing to do anything for them. I love their family so much!

A pretty good OV book. I like that their trauma wasn't just glossed over because they had a heat like so many books do. That said, most of the harem was forgettable, other than poor Sebastian who got saddled with the nickname "Sebass" which I kept reading as "sea bass". I'd read a whole book with just him as the love interest.

this had so much potential but once atlas and athena were freed it got sooo boring. atlas was a broken record and i didn’t particularly like any of the characters. the plot was scarce and the trauma healing was… boring.

I absolutely loved this story of trauma and healing.

Athena is a beta who always dreamed of having an omega to dote on. Atlas, also a beta, joined with Lupine Investigations to help stop omega trafficking. Now, they are both trapped in a warehouse where medical experiments are performed on them. After many experiments and procedures, they wake in a room together and they find themselves in each other's arms under the influence of a heat-inducing drug. They are rescued shortly after and find themselves in a new reality where they are both omegas and they are bonded to each other. Pack Lupine, their rescuers, are determined to help them heal especially since it turns out that they are scent matched to the two omegas. Unfortunately, they still need to protect Athena and Atlas since not everyone involved in the warehouse operations has been caught. Plus, both Atlas and Athena have to adjust to their new realities including the new instincts and implications of being omegas.

This is definitely not a typical omegaverse story and I loved how unique it was. Atlas and Athena went through some horrific things and they have both shared and individual traumas related to that. After all they've endured, they rely on each other for safety and support. Pack Lupine has to cope with two very different omegas and their different reactions. While Athena brings out gentleness in all of the men, Atlas is determined to be treated exactly as he was before the warehouse and challenges their notions of what omegas want or like. I really enjoyed seeing how they all grew into a cohesive pack.

The four alphas were so much fun and so different. Harvey was probably my favorite. He was the gruff older man who seemed really in tune with what both Athena and Atlas needed and also stayed calm under pressure. Sebastian (aka Sebass) was so fun and I loved how he was so determined to make Athena and Atlas smile. His laugh count competition made me laugh out loud. I also really loved seeing the relationship between Charles and Atlas evolve. Charles had a lot of deeply engrained ideas about how omegas should be treated and what they liked or didn't like. It was interesting to see him evolve throughout the book to learn that their omegas were unique and not all omegas fit the general rules that he had been raised to believe. Wyatt was the lead alpha who was determined to do right by his omegas and also protect them. I did feel like he was probably the one who had the hardest time with Atlas going from their coworker and friend to their omega.

I really appreciated how well the trauma and mental health aspects of this story were handled. Atlas and Athena each had unique reactions and challenges and I felt like both were very realistic. The book was definitely a roller coaster of emotions, but I absolutely loved how the pack never put pressure on them to heal in a specific time or way. I also really appreciated how characters from past books in the series were connected and came in to help with different aspects of the healing process. This was such a beautiful ending to the Lunarcrest City series and I cannot wait to read more from Holly Monroe.

This is not your typical OV story, and I absolutely loved that about it. So much so that it is now one of my favourite OV books.

I do love a story with two omegas. Athena and Atlas – while having to deal with so much after their forced change – balance each other and the pack out so well. Athena brings out a softness and warmth in the others, while Atlas challenges them (especially a certain alpha with quite strict views at the beginning) and together they become the heart of the group. There’s understandably some teething problems as they all adapt to their new reality, but I so enjoyed seeing them all learn together.

To discuss the above-mentioned alpha, I was worried that I'd really dislike his character when we first meet Charles. His overprotective views on how best to look after omegas were so rigid that I was concerned that he’d be too OTT for these two omegas. I could see how he’d drive a strong-willed omega nutty, like our wonderful prickly Atlas, and I felt the latter’s frustration. So, I was pleasantly surprised at how he then shaped his views to ensure that the omegas are well looked after in a way that suits them, and I so loved watching his growth.

It turned out that it was Charles and Atlas’s relationship that I enjoyed seeing develop the most after they initially clashed so much. Watching their exchanges evolve from heated disagreements to a respectful relationship was just testament to how much progress the alpha had made. Between this and his previous insecurities, he managed to worm his way into my affections.

If I’m honest, I’d have liked to have seen a bit more of Wyatt as I felt that had a bit more to give us, especially from him and Atlas together, but that didn’t mean that I didn’t like his character, and it didn’t affect my overall enjoyment of the book. Sebass… well, besides loving that nickname, he brought laughter and fun to these omegas’ lives when they needed it most, and I adored him for it. But it was Harvey who became my ultimate top alpha; he shows such sensitive understanding to what the omegas need and has such a calm approach to things, I was a totally goner for him.

I loved that the pack were so understanding and accommodating of what Atlas needed to help him become more comfortable with his new designation. I really enjoyed those spicy scenes where they quietly encourage him to take charge – I really appreciated seeing the dominant omega side of him! Those heat scenes where the pack is so considerate of the omegas’ needs *sigh* Maybe one of my favourite group heat scenes to be honest.

If you enjoy OV books, you have to read this one!

Book review:

I honestly just think it was okay, not bad or good just okay. There was too much in it that I didn't like, which is why it was just okay.

🚩 Dislike:

💔Atlas; Unfortunately there was so much about him I didn't like, I think he reaction on what happened was understandable but I didn't like how he treated the guys in the pack as if they did it too him or as if they wanted this for him. His reaction toward them was unnecessary since this was new for everyone.

💔 Athena; She was just like any other basic omega. I honestly have no idea how to describe her personality cause she gave me nothing other than a girl with a lot of trauma.. they guys mention that she was beautiful but her as a person I didn't feel like was describe good.

💔 Omega stuff: I didn't understood what exactly they were struggling with about this.. and I mean that other that the judgment that they would get as omega from the society, I didn't quite understood how much been a beta mean for them cause it was never explained. I feel I understand the basic about omega but because I don't understand exactly how much been beta was part of them as a person I also struggle understanding what they lost.

💔 The Pack: the only bad thing I have to say about it, the relationship with Atlas. I didn't understand how their relationship developed cause it was like "suggested" that they have a friendship before and work together but on papir I don't feel like we as read saw it developed intil what it end up been. I also feel like because of the heat happend, and they all bonded. The bonding happen so fast, so the development in seen their relationship grow and becoming deep just never happen with both omega. It just happend from one day to another. I would have loved to see more of Sebass relationship with Atlas but again honestly any of them would be better that what I got.

So overall the book was good but because so much of it made me angry I just end up giving it 3.. cause it not bad but it also not the best.

I thought Crystal's story was wild. This one was just as wild with an ending readers will love. Ms. Monroe always gives readers all the feels. I was all in with this book. It starts off a little traumatic. This book picks up kinda where Knot all is Crystal left off. Please read this series in order. The character pop back up in future books. You are going to want to know their background. Atlas Cassidy was sent to Prism to pose as an omega. Pack Lupine and the Hawks knew about the trafficking of omegas and went to get them out. Specifically to get Crystal out. If you read the book, you know what happened. Atlas, unfortunately was not able to get out. He was betrayed by his ex-boyfriend and locked in a cage alongside another beta.

Athena Valentine had been taken and caged a week before Atlas arrived. They were close enough to talk to each other but they could not touch. The talking sparked something. In between the experiments and medical procedures, these two grew closer and vowed not to lose the connection. The experiments were to turn betas into omegas and it worked on both of them. While in captivity, they were forced into a heat. During the heat they bonded with each other. Thankfully shortly after their bonding, Pack Lupine was able to get them out.

Harvey, Sebastian, Wyatt, Charles made up Pack Lupine. Atlas was always friend. This was a different dynamic. Pack Lupine was surprised to find two omegas that together was each alphas scent match. Pack Lupine never counted on having an omega. It was just low on their agenda. Now it looks like they need to make room for two. Two omegas that used to be betas. They all have to navigate unchartered territories. Will there be medical complications? Let's not forget that neither of these two were raised to be omegas. Athena was looking forward to getting an omega not being one. Atlas was have a hard time as well. With all these obstacles, will Pack Lupine gain two new members or lose the omegas they have grown to love? This book give readers a rollercoaster ride full of emotions. I loved every minute of it. I can't wait to see what Ms. Monroe comes up with next.

i mostly liked this a lot with one notable exception.

i absolutely hate the whole situation with atlas and athena in the hospital and then the whole "my pack abandoned me" thing, mostly because it's not at all true, and because i blame icarus.

atlas is in one room, athena is in the other, the pack goes to tend to atlas because he wakes up and is distressed. athena wakes up screaming as well, icarus practically tells the pack to stay with atlas, and then he scoops athena up and removes her from the hospital while telling her that her pack clearly didn't care enough to come check on her??? meanwhile, when we get the perspective from atlas, he makes it clear the instant that he's lucid after some purrs and snuggles that they made a mistake and need to go to athena, and somehow it's already too late?? what did icarus do, wait less than 5 minutes before deciding he had the right to remove her? i think that if icarus had just stayed there and they had waited 5 more minutes, the entire pack, including atlas would have come in to check on athena. so the fact that athena gets to tell the whole pack about how much they hurt her and how they abandoned her just feels like manufactured drama for no reason. and if i were pack lupine, i would punch icarus in the face for removing her from the hospital with no notice or consideration based on a bias.

however, aside from that whole situation, i liked the rest of this book just fine. as always, i wish we had gotten more of the "getting to know you" situation between all of them, but i know that's because i always want way more details than is necessary to propel the narrative. i liked when charles got to really see the similarities between his view of omegas and the opposing view of omegas, because he needed to understand that treating omegas differently because they deserve to be revered is still treating them differently. that seemed like an important lesson for him to learn, especially in the face of the especially difficult time that atlas was having.

I really struggled with this one

I don’t know if it was because the Athena and Axel just completely rejected the changes in designation. But I just didn’t like them. I still don’t like the whole mpreg trope even if the author made it so he couldn’t have kids. I didn’t like that they hide/destroyed all info on beta’s being changed into omegas. I get that how it came to be was evil, but anyone who learns the dark history of medical inventions knows that progress can come from dark and evil experiments.
Brain surgery came from the father of lobotomy who literally went around with a hammer and chisel and inflicted what would be a brain injury to people in asylums a lot who were women whose family’s committed them for being hysterical which is just a way to say they didn’t conform to society’s standards of what a women should be.
Dark, horrifying, disgusting and evil but no one can argue that it didn’t lead to learning so much about our brains and that knowledge was used for beneficial means. Medical knowledge is filled with stories like that and while it would be ideal that it wasn’t learned in such a way does not mean you throw out that knowledge.
So I didn’t appreciate where the author took the story. With things being as they are in RL with gender identity and gender transition I think the story would have been better served by finding a way to help the community members who were born into designations that don’t fit them and would choose to change them to one that fits them better, doing so in a safe, consensual way that doesn’t hurt or kill anyone, rather than just wholesale destruction of all info that could make those people’s lives better/happier.

🪢🧬Knot all is Whole ARC review 🪢🧬
This beauty is out TOMORROW????
Wow-o-wow, it’s really easy for books to make me emotional, it’s not so easy for books to make me actually cry. But I figured if anyone could do it @authorhollymonroe could, this was absolutely incredible and a phenomenal ending to this series, I 100% would recommend reading the first three books before this one even if they’re stand alones. This book starts right where knot all is crystal ends and throws you right into the trench’s, it’s devastating to see the way these characters we love fall under the circumstances they’ve found themselves in, even more so when you get to them really trying to process their trauma. Getting to see how the pack comes together to be what Atlas and Athena need individually to start the process in what has become their new normal is really wonderful especially since we’ve already got a base for most of these characters. I can’t wait to see what else Holly cooks up in this universe
Now up until this point would you could have read any of the first three books without having to read the others and have enough context to make sense of everything happening, that being said, I really think you need to read the first three before you read this book. However Holly is an absolute angel and gives us a “this is what you missed” at the very beginning with a TLDR of all three books 😍😍
This whole series is absolutely incredible and I’m so glad I got to be a part of the ARC team for this beautiful wrap up to our series 😭😭😭

I love a good OV story, whether it is cozy, dark, steamy, or sweet. This author is one of my favorites for this genre. She never fails to provide a great story that makes me devour the whole thing in one setting. She also has an amazing way of writing new aspects of a plot that always leaves me scrambling to read more of her work.

This book was no different. It revolves around characters that we see in previous books (finally getting their own story arc) It revolves around two betas being kidnapped and experimented on and being turned into omegas.

The trauma, heartache and emotions are so beautifully written that you can’t help but to cry while experiencing it with them. The struggle of having everything about yourself change on top of dealing with new and old trauma was such an emotional storyline. I love that the story centers around 2 main characters equally and showing their struggles and how they adjust at different paces. The contrasting pov from the alphas also lend a depth to the story that allows you to really see everyone’s growth throughout.

The author really hit is out of the park with this one, a great ending that really wrapped everything up for me, even if it didn’t end quite how I imagined it would, but loved none the less. I also am excited for how it sets you up for more books in the future with other characters in the world.

Don’t miss out on this story because you will not regret reading it. Warning, it will make you go down a binge-hole and get lost for weeks in all her books. Which is not a bad thing.

Beta transformation and finding a new normal

Wow this was such a unique omegaverse moment.

Athena was captured in a parking lot and wakes up in a cage. She befriends the Omega in the other cage. They talk and do everything to stay sane while being experimented on. One day the Omega doesn't return. Her cage becomes home to Atlas. (We met him in the last book when he went undercover as an Omega in a trafficking ring. However, his ex took him and now he is here being experimented on).

Atlas and Athena forge a bond that is irrevocably changed and made permanent when they are transformed into Omegas. Thankfully they are rescued but this is just the start of changes.

Atlas did not take this news well. To go from a Beta of 30+ years who helped rescue Omegas in danger to being an Omega in danger is a lot to handle. Add in Athena and a pack of his friends and co-workers now viewing him differently causes a lot of struggles.

Athena always hoped to find a pack that would keep her and she would be able to spoil and care for an Omega of her own. This was definitely not what she had it mind.

The Alphas in this book are all unique and different. They are very real with real fears, flaws, and doubts. It's beautiful watching them all struggle but come together and make everything work.

I can't wait to read what's next from Holly.

ARC Review

Knot All Is Whole is an emotionally driven story set in Holly Monroe’s Lunarcrest City universe, centered on healing, identity, and found family. The premise is compelling and immediately pulls you in, with high emotional stakes and a setup that promises depth and complexity.

Athena and Atlas are written with vulnerability, and their bond carries genuine emotional weight. However, while their journey is heartfelt, the story often feels like it only scratches the surface of what could have been explored. Several plot threads and emotional conflicts seem rich with possibility but aren’t developed as fully as they could be, which lessens the overall impact.

The pack dynamics add warmth and support, yet the focus sometimes drifts, leaving the central storyline feeling diluted. Certain resolutions feel rushed, while other sections linger too long on internal repetition rather than pushing the plot forward.

Overall, Knot All Is Whole is a solid read with strong themes and an engaging concept, but it ultimately felt like there was more potential in the storyline than what was delivered. Readers who enjoy slower, introspective omegaverse romances may still connect with it, but those hoping for deeper exploration and higher narrative payoff might feel similarly underwhelmed.

this was such an emotional ride.
literally diving right into the trauma with Athena and Atlas. 😭 don't get me started on Ethel. 💔
but we follow along with Athena and Atlas after being kidnapped and experimented on.
and while things are traumatic for them and lots of healing is needed....things heated up very quickly.
not to mention the alphas, Wyatt, Sebastian, Charles, and Harvey.
Yea things get very hot between them all. 🥵 and yes we get each of their pov. 😁
but what I loved was how they each had their own way of caring for each other. how they knew to take things slow...granted things didn't go as planned in their heads, but hey...it works out. 😏
I felt for Athena so much. she already went through a lot before this whole kidnapping ordeal. than all this happened and the aftermath of it and finding out another huge devastating blow to this whole experiment thing. But Atlas struggles too and I felt for him as well. though at times I wanted to knock some sense into him, just like the alphas did at one point. 😅
the ending was just worth it all though. healing as best as they could.

Just simply enjoyed this story. pain, spice, and all.

🫶🏻thank you Holly for the arc and giving Athena the happy ending she deserved. 🥹

Sometimes Booktok shows me a snippet of a book and I add it thinking that one day I'll eventually get to reading it. And sometimes it shows me something that I need immediately. I never, never preorder ebooks. I'm reluctant to buy ebooks in general because frankly, they are too easily removed from devices at the whims of the company that "sells" them. But here I am, preordering an ebook from an author I never read from all because of a snippet that promised trauma, angst, and omegaverse drama.

I cannot express how much I loved this. Every single character in this book was perfect. The dynamic between Athena and Atlas was so sweet and pure. I could not help but immediately fall in love. And then you add in four Alphas who were just as wonderfully sweet? Ugh. This was just a fantastic reverse harem. The characters each had unique voices that kept their separate POVs understandable, but they didn't come off as caricatures of archetypes.

The pacing was fantastic. There's not only the relationship building that goes on between our Omegas and their Alphas, but also the plot of figuring out who is running the experiments and putting a stop to the trafficking. It all worked so well to be a fun, angsty read.

💙My Thoughts💙
Excuse me. Everyone pause reading and go add this to your TBR, then come back and continue.

This book is so lovely. The emotional (and physical) trauma is immense and the characters have a beautiful depth. The plot is so engaging and I had such a hard time putting this book down!

Getting significant cameos from previous characters in the series added so much to the story! I love how the plot created so many connections!

💙The Series💙
This is book four in the series of (very) interconnected standalones. Every book centers around a different set of main characters but there is one strong underlying plot and brings them all together in this book. I would HIGHLY suggest reading the whole series in order. There are good little refreshers in this book, where pertinent (so I did not find a reread required) but you will definitely miss out if you have not read them all. And they are all wonderful, so you should read them anyways!

This book had its moments, but often came across as disjointed, like the author couldn’t quite decide where she wanted to go with it.

Athena is kidnapped and experimented on (we never find out if she was chosen specifically or at random), and she meets Ethel, an Omega in the lab. They have a quasi-romantic relationship until Ethel disappears.

Athena is (sort of) successfully turned into an Omega and Ethel is replaced with Atlas, who is also then turned into an Omega. They bond. It becomes a romance about Atlas and Athena.

I found it a bit weird to put all this emphasis on the romantic feelings between Ethel and Athena, and also discuss Athena’s prior attraction to women and then proceed with an all male pack. I’m not a fan of sapphic romances, but I also don’t understand introducing it as a main point of Athena’s background and then forget about it. It would have been just as easy to remove the romance from the Ethel-Athena friendship.

I also think the complicated nature of Athena potentially inheriting Ethel’s scent matches was interesting… but then the author totally said “Nope! Never mind!” to that idea.

Really, the only unique idea that really got explored was Atlas’ negative feelings of being forcibly turned into an Omega when he had more alpha traits.

Knot All is Whole is the last book in the Lunarcrest City Omegaverse series by Holly Monroe. This is a standalone but we do see characters from the other books. Athena and Atlas were taken by someone running experiments to turn a beta into an omega. Both were happy with their beta designation. They go through various experiments when there is finally a breakthrough and they escape when the chance comes up.

Athena has always wanted an omega to take care of, but she has not found the right back. Her previous pack left her with physical and psychological scares. Atlas had a great group of friends that he worked with. How will they deal with their new reality of being an omega? Can they let go of who they thought they would be to become the person they are now? Can Athena and Atlas find room with the pack?

I definitely cried and laughed multiple times while reading this book. It is the perfect read when you want something a little heavier to read. I am happy we should be seeing new series based on some of the side characters. Go read this one now!

Athena and Atlas might be my new faves!!

Rating: 5 ⭐️
Spice: 3 🌶️

Read if you like:
Omegaverse
Why Choose (MMMMFM)
Medical Sci-Fi
Spicy Angst
Forced Proximity
Scent Matches
Beta -> Omega x2
Brothers Best Friend

Kidnapped, caged and experimented on, Athena and Atlas barely hold on to hope they can escape their prison.

When Wyatt, Harvey, Sebastian and Charles find Athenia and Atlas the scent match isn't all there and the omegas have other feelings about it. With no one else to trust they hold on to one another.

It’s messy, heartbreaking and beautiful. Pack dynamics challenged, old friendships redefined, new relationships form. There is A LOT of growth from all the characters, learning to trust and lean on one another and their instincts.

The world building and subtle interconnections in the Lunacrest City Books are some of my favorite parts of reading this series!

I sobbed, I laughed, I raged but there’s just something about how Holly writes that makes it all so beautiful.

Their story might be my new fave right with Nora’s in Knot All Is Perfect!!

wow

Emotional damage.
This story will 1000% put you through the emotional wringer, I got teary eyed and cried at one point because some of the feelings that characters have of not being enough hit way to close to home for me personally. There’s alot of trauma and the story is a tad darker than the other three books in the Lunarcrest world but it’s not the darkest I’ve read. It’s just emotionally heavy which I personally love because something that makes a book amazing to me is the emotional depth of it. The feelings this book evokes is deep and I honestly finished it in a span of 36hrs because I didn’t want to stop reading. I enjoyed how they touched on the fact that healing from trauma of any kind is not linear you will have setbacks and relapses, all of which are normal. Seeing Athena finally get her pack and find love was so beautiful and I have loved this universe so much. After reading knot all is crystal I was dying to learn atlas’ story and to see him and Athena grow together and find their happiness together it’s lovely.

Knot All Is Whole had me hooked from the opening chaos, waking up drugged in a lab, hunted by rogue scientists, suddenly discovering you’re not Beta but an Omega (surprise!!)… the drama was DRAMMING. Athena and Atlas literally break out of a nightmare together and then get scent-matched to Pack Lupine, who were very much not expecting two traumatized mystery Omegas to fall into their laps.

The setup? Deliciously messy. Forced proximity, panic, bonding instincts going absolutely feral… I was seated.

But the execution? A bit uneven for me. Athena and Atlas have the trauma-bond chemistry, the “I trust you because we almost died together” intensity, and the emotional fragility that should have destroyed me, but sometimes the communication got muddled, and both of them ping-ponging between fear, longing, and confusion made the middle drag a little.

And some side characters felt like they were on a 30-day free trial. They pop in, stir the pot, and then vanish before the drama can fully marinate. The stakes are high, the worldbuilding is cool, but a few threads felt like setup for the next book rather than fully satisfying in this one.

✨ Trope Checklist:
– Lab-created Omegas
– Forced proximity + trauma bonding
– Escape-and-rescue adrenaline
– Protector MMC × overwhelmed but resilient FMC
– Pack politics + secrets + danger around every corner

Interesting, messy, emotional, and full of potential, even if not everything clicked for me.

I tried this twice. First go round the Alpha who was a ‘traditionalist’ and treated omegas like omegas was too much for me. Did not like him.

Then I tried it again and I just don’t like how much is going on. I don’t like that their ‘mistake’ was not only a set up, but was wildly blown out of proportion and they had to grovel because her brother spirited away because no one ran after him to check on her. It bothered me Charles got a stool for the middle of the hall between their rooms because he refused to choose. It bothered me that Atlas is harping on the same shit over and over. It bothered me that the whole stuff with the Omega who died was treated the way it was. As much as I violently hate character death, I feel like the story would have been stronger if more time was spent building up the MC’s relationship with her, the transfer of her into MC, and it being a story about a woman loving herself. I don’t get the point of Atlas except to be a chaotic distraction.

So I’m done.
