Tyler Knight isn’t nearly as hardened as his brothers. He was too young to remember the horrific death of his parents, the betrayal of his mother, or the weakness of his father. But he’s watched his brothers, and the hardened life they have led, and he’s always been the calm in the storm for them all, bringing light to an otherwise darkened world.

When he watches his brothers find a ray of sun in their otherwise turbulent lives, he wonders why he can’t find the same and he goes on a quest, for the first time doing it all on his own without the negative words of his brothers in his ear. But he’s about to learn that no matter how much he may want to hide from his dark past, it’s something that won’t disappear. And it’s about to catch up to him.

See the exciting conclusion to NYT best-selling author Melody Anne’s Forbidden Series with Tyler Knight’s story.

I was looking forward to this book, I enjoyed Tyler's character in the previous three stories. Unfortunately the author departed from the character that she had originally established. In his own story he was mean and dismissive when previously he showed moments of fun and humor. The author also failed to touch on a plot mystery that was introduced in the previous story, where The character Bill had alluded to the question of Tyler's parentage when he was speaking to Byron. There were also numerous consistency errors though out the story. I felt as if the author just phoned this one in. If I am going to spend the money to buy your book and to also spend the time to read it, please be respectful enough to give a true effort in the series' story consistency. It feels as if this was phoned in. Very disappointing.

2.5 Stars

I was willing to give it a full 5 stars if the hero had grovel and been punished. And if the ending wasn't rush. It was very very very rush, i didn't grasp it! and no epilogue. I may have forgiven the "rush-ness" of the ending if there was an epilogue. Sad to say I'm kinda disappointed. :(

I love this story. I love Tyler and Elena as a couple. This story is about finding your one true live. Tyler and Elena were best friends when they were kids but Tyler decided they couldn't be friends anymore and broke her geart. 10 years later they meet again he didn't. know who she was he used her and discarded her and left again. zSmhe vowed to pay him back if she ever seen him again. Present day she comes face to face with her most hated person again. The attraction is still there but he doesn't know who she is. It's time for payback, but the man Tyler is is hard to resist. Now they both have trust issues. Once Elena gives into the passion it's just a matter of time. Tyler is such a romantic which makes the sex scenes so steaming hot. I love the ending I wasn't ready for their story to end. Ekeba was just the woman that Tyler needed. Glas to see it a spin off book about Piper maybe it's not quite the end for them.

3.5 Stars...I enjoyed these brothers so broken yet they found the women to tame and open up their hearts. I always liked Tyler and I enjoyed his story. I was not a fan of the ending though, it seemed to abrupt and incomplete. That really took away from this storyline especially because of the secrets that were relived an abrupt ending was definitely not they way to go in this case. Maybe because the epilogue was an intro to Piper's story and Elena was her best friend in this book we will get some insight into her and Tyler's life after.

Didn’t like the ending but I’m glad we didn’t get dragged along to get the story even if it was fast tracked over the years. Not sure what’s going on with Piper but I’m sure it will be pretty good to read.

I hated the dialogue between Elena and Tyler but I got use to eventually. Also I understand sh'e Loved him for a while but I wish she has held her ground against him. Also I also understand her BFF knows her best but I felt she could have been on her side a bit instead of inviting Tyler in and stuff when Elena was trying to avoid him. Then at the end when he left her and came back she just accepted him... No that's stupid he didn't believe the bay was his he though she cheated and when she tells him the reason why she thought he was a bad playboy he doesn't believe her either. I understand he's been hurt I guess but still. She should have made him work for her forgiveness. Lastly the ending sucked it sure needed an epilogue... she forgave him and that's it. Also her fiend Piper is getting her own spin off series.

I loved this book couldn't put it down. When Tyler Knight was thirteen he was best friend with ElenaTruman who was ten years old, but one day he broke her heart because he told her that they couldn't be best friends anymore. Ten years later Elena saw Tyler again at her job in the Gentlemens Club, but when her boss saw what she was wearing he fired her. On her way out Elena heard someone calling her and she knew immediately who it was, but he didn't recognised her and again he broke her heart by using her in his limo and just walking away like she was a nobody. Eight years later Elena saw Tyler again and again he didn't recognised her, but this time she wanted revenge. One night Elena decided that she was going to get her revenge, but when it backed fired on her he wanted the truth and after telling him the truth of who she really was he told her to leave. One day Elena was at the hospital for an appointment to confirm her suspicions and when she was leaving she bumped into Tyler and he was stunned to find out why she was there, but Tyler again broke her heart because he accused her of cheating.

Was very promising...

‘Burned,’ is the forth book in the Forbidden series. The storyline and characters were all brilliantly written. It was very promising beginning and middle... though the end left much to be desired. I loved that Elena got her HEA, however, it all felt incredibly rushed. You almost feel cheated. And to make matters worse, the epilogue was entirely about Piper!

Childhood friends never get to be lovers

I really didn’t like the game Elena played with Trent. It’s a game that was unfair at the outset. Their obvious draw to one another made sense, though, for as much as you may not want it to happen, sometimes in real life the electricity between people is real.

I liked this series and thought that there was great character development as well as what Melody Anne always promises...romance and love. Great stories. A little different. The men are wants you hate and then hate to love.

Not my cup of tea

This book was not Melody Anne’s best. I love her books but this series and especially this book was weak. Tyler, who was supposed to be the nicest brother, was the worst. Elena was weak and played too many games.

Enjoyable.

This is the last book in this series. I didn’t like it as much as the others, it bothered me that Tyler couldn’t remember Elena. But thankfully it got better towards the end and I loved their happy ever after.

Loved the series

Lots of emotions in these books. Very well written. The next series also looks intriguing. Will Piper have a story? You ended the book wanting her story.

Not the best representation of the series, but not terrible. Less substance than the other three plots and the ending feels rushed, with hanging threads that are never wrapped up.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Burned focuses on Tyler Knight’s personal journey, and his character development is a highlight. This book offers a lighter, more hopeful contrast to the previous ones. Tyler’s search for his own happiness and healing from the trauma of his past is touching, and his romance is filled with heart. The ending of the Forbidden series wraps up beautifully, leaving readers with a sense of closure and redemption.

This is book four in the Forbidden Series

Meet the younger brother of Blake and Byron Tyler Knight. Tyler isn't nearly as hardened as his two brothers. He was way too young to remember the horrific and tragic death of his parents. How their mother was betrayed and at the weakness of his father. But Tyler's watched his older brothers, and it's lead to the hardened life they lead. Tyler's always been the calm in the storm for the brothers. Tyler brings the light to an otherwise a depressing and darkened world. When Tyler watches his brothers find a ray of sun in their otherwise turbulent lives Tyler wonders why he can't find the same ray of sun in his life and so he goes on a quest to find it. For Tyler this is the first time doing it all on his own even without the negative and harsh warning words of his older brothers in his ear. Tyler's about to learn that no matter how much he wants to hide from his deep dark past. Tyler realises that it's something that won't go away easily. It's about to catch up to him and hit him hard.

I need more than 5 *s but again need to settle for 5. I'd recommend this author and all her books

Tyler Knight and Elena Truman were best friends when Elena was ten and Tyler was thirteen. Then Tyler realized it wasn't cool to have a girl as a friend so he told her they couldn't be friends anymore. Ten years later Elena ran into Tyler when she was working at a Gentlemen's club. The group he was with was picking on her and he came to her defense. When she left he followed and ask her to have a drink with him. They went to his limo and she drank too much and she had sex with Tyler. She was a virgin but she adored him. When it was over he went back to his friends and she realized he didn't know who she was. She was crushed. Seven years later she is an attorney and sees Tyler again and he doesn't recognize her. This is a good story. It does contain sex. This is another great story from Melody Anne. You will enjoy the relationship between these two.

I liked the premise of Tyler and Elena's relationship. Best friends as kids, he rejects her when he gets to his teen years, a chance encounter in their twenties and again many years later. I thought her plan for revenge was funny, if not a bit extreme. They had a strong connection and great chemistry, but I felt like they would go hot and cold too quickly and too often. They were both trying not to fall for each other, while she tried to stay on course for revenge and he tried to keep his heart out of it. I did enjoy their banter and all his secret good deeds. It was nice to get a glimpse of his brothers, but there wasn't much to it. The ending seemed a little rushed, but I enjoyed the overall story.
