A grumpy trail guide. A sunshine-hearted traveler. One unexpected storm that changes everything.
Quinn Harper is used to moving on. As a travel content creator, she’s made a career out of chasing scenic views and hidden gems, never staying in one place too long. But when her latest adventure brings her to Juniper Falls, a rain-soaked hike to Lookout Point strands her with the one man in town who wants nothing to do with her camera, her curiosity, or her cinnamon-sweet optimism.
Hunter Rhodes used to believe in love. Until tragedy taught him better. Now he lives alone in a cabin on the edge of the mountain, guiding tourists by day and avoiding the rest of the world by night. He’s got no patience for nosy questions or bright-eyed visitors… Especially not the kind who smile too easily and talk about chasing dreams.
But when one storm forces them into close quarters, something shifts. Shared silences turn to lingering glances, and walls built out of guilt begin to crack.
She wasn’t supposed to stay. He wasn’t supposed to feel again. And neither of them expected to fall in love at Lookout Point.
A heartfelt small-town romance with rugged mountains, healing hearts, and a love story written in the stars.

Susanne Ash writes sweet contemporary romance. When she's not busy putting pen to paper, she loves to cook, knit, and head out exploring with her husband and daughter. She lives close to the beach in beautiful South Carolina. You'll find that her setting is often a fictionalized version of her surroundings and the places she's visiting with her family.
I had a free copy of this book, but this is my voluntary and honest opinion. Photographer, Quinn Harper is in Juniper Falls looking for unusual vistas. Hunter Rhodes is a reclusive nature guide who works with her, showing her various vistas thinking she is shallow, but he sees another side of her. Beautifully written second chance book with changes for both characters.
This was really really cute. I loved the background story, different from the others in this saga. It made me feel for him, and it made me sad to see him push her away.
The conflict was fairly typical of these so far, but it wasn't terrible!
I liked the way their relationship grew and ended! And I'm excited to see what the next story brings with Tanner!!

Hunter is a loner, but when Hazel tells him to show Quinn the sites he listens. As they explore they get to know each other, but something in his past is preventing him from getting too close. Such a cute story. Quinn was patient with him and broke through his walls.
Clean romance* *small mountain town setting *brooding man *social media influencer female main character. ~I really loved all of this except the epilogue. I think sometimes love story lines can be a bit too cheesy.~
