Dravin

Her brother made me swear to protect her. So I did—whether she likes it or not.
Now we’re laying low in a nowhere town, runnin’ jobs for the local MC.
New names. New lies. One big damn secret—she’s playin’ my sister.

She hates every second of it.
Says I hijacked her life.
But I’m the reason she’s still breathin’.

We clash like fire and gasoline—loud, messy, and burnin’ too hot.
She’s under my skin, and no matter how hard I fight it, the line between protector and sinner’s gettin’ real damn blurry.

We were supposed to stay off the radar.
But the past don’t stay buried—it hunts.

And the biggest threat ain’t what’s chasin’ us.
It’s what’s sparkin’ between us.

I ride solo. Always have.
But not this time.
Not when she’s mine.

Dravin is the 7th installment in the Satan's Angels MC series. Each book in the series delivers a standalone happily ever after for the couple, but for the best experience, we recommend reading them in order.

Siblings…I Think Not!!

This is another installment in the Satan’s Angels MC and we have Dravin’s story. Dravin is contacted by his best friend, Marcus, and he’s asking him to protect his sister, Kael and it’s a matter of life or death, Dravin steps up to help. Kael isn’t an easy woman for sure and sparks fly between these two. Since their fake ID’s say they are brother and sister how are they going to pull this off especially with the attraction between them.

He was her brother's friend, brother in arms, and when he was asked to protect her, he could never say no. He had scars on the outside and inside, he is used to living on the fringes and taking jobs that no one else can. There is no one close to him, but to her brother he owes a debt and he will keep her safe, even in spite of herself. She never asked for any of this. When her brother's choice put her in danger she is forced to accept his protection, but she doesn't have to like it. She will rebel against it, try to find herself in it. When he decides that she has been making choices that threaten her safety he pulls her and takes her to a place where he is starting to feel safe. A small town run by the local MC where his last job was. He thinks they will be safe, that she could even find community, but she pushes back until something has to give. This is the 7th book in this series, and I would say out of all of them this one really functions as a complete stand alone. It is very different than the others in the series as neither of the mains are associated with the MC in the beginning. After years serving as a SEAL and then taking contract work, he is finding brotherhood with the MC and prospects. She is resistant to MC life because of her brothers mistakes and she fights him, until they both start to realize that hate isn't what they feel at all. While you do get a little introduction to the MC and the other players in this one, it really feels very detached and you don't really feel connected to the MC the way you do in the other books in the series. This one really focuses on the two of them and their dynamic. It is a complex story with two complex people. They both have lots of baggage both mutual and independent and have to step back and look at things differently. It is the building of a relationship rather than integrating into the world already built in the series. I was looking forward to the check-ins with previous characters and you get a few but again they feel distant rather than revisiting old friends. I think that is because there is not a lot of meaningful interaction or connection between the mains and any of the other MC characters. The old ladies do embrace her, but it felt more like a group introduction than connection...I would have liked to see her form a friendship that was more meaningful with one of the other old ladies rather than just a group embrace. I also would have liked him to have more of a mentor or connection to someone in the MC so it felt like they had some grounding there. Their story however was intense. I might have blushed with more than my cheeks when he shows up to model for her in her chosen outfit. It is hot and steamy and will make your panties melt right off when you read about the pomegranate. Their relationship starts as tense and adversarial but it really becomes quite tender as they learn to trust themselves and each other. A happily ever after for them, and I hope we continue to see them settle into the MC as the series continues.

I loved Dravin and Kael!

What a great book! In my opinion, the plot is more unique than in the previous books, focusing mainly on the character development and less than any danger the club has to face (there isn’t really any here). I liked Kael, but I LOVED Dravin. Dravin is a former SEAL. Discharged and damaged both physically and mentally, although both scars are not too obvious. His fellow brother-in-arms, Marcus, who has saved his life seven times in the past, calls him. He has chosen to mix with the wrong crowd (a 1% MC that ended up hunted by the Bratva) and knew he was going to die soon. So, he asks Dravin to protect and secure the life of his sister Kael. Dravin tries to do just that. But Kael is bitter and desperate and hostile and reckless at first, managing to blow up his initial cover for her. So, he literally drags her to Hart, with a cover story of her being his sister. He tells her that he is prospecting for the Satan’s Angels MC and she goes ballistic because of what happened to her brother. But Satan’s Angels are a brotherhood, a family. When Kael clears her mind and opens her heart, she sees the truth. She starts finding herself again– and seeing past the mask Dravin wears as an armor. Kael is an artist, she sees the world differently, she is bold, honest, determined. Dravin, under his stoic hard exterior, hides the most vulnerable, big, soft and kind heart. His protective instincts and sense of honor drives his every move. I really fell in love with him just as much as Kael did. I loved her drive to make him see his worth and their potential. I also loved how the club came through for both of them with their unwavering support and quiet love. I can’t wait for the next book in the series. 5 stars

This is a maybe 2.5 star book for me, but I rounded up the stars.

I really like this series but this book was written so differently from the others that I honestly didn't feel like it was part of the series and lowkey hated it. I never really had any idea of what was going on because all of a sudden something is happening. Like Dravin loved Dom ... but why? Their meeting was like they were old friends, but it was written like they were meeting for the first time and it wasn't really made clear how we got from point a to b other than "he seemed like he needed help."

The mafia killing her brother and coming after her was also the catalyst for everything and she had to be so secretive about everything - but the mafia NEVER comes even close to her. We don't see any run ins or hints they're coming for her. And Dravin lies to the club about her relation to him, but we don't see even a side-eye about that. I know they're a kind motorcycle club, but literally no other motorcycle club I've read about would have just let that go with how she announced it and if there was blowback, we should have seen it.

Maybe it was just the really long chapters instead of breaking it down into the normal 20ish that made this book so frustrating since it is about the same lengths as the others but it really felt like all of this was rushed through with much different writing and plot and just left me really unsatisfied at the end - just like her when he kept getting sex from her then running off.

Draven and Kael‘s story is part of the Satan’s Angles MC Series. They are on the run from the Russian Bratva after her Brother’s MC had a member involved in the death of a high ranking Bratva member’s daughter, resulting in the Bratva killing every man, woman and child they could find that was part of the MC. Draven had been prospecting for the Satan’s Angels after doing some IT work for them and Karl had burned through a previous identity he had constructed for her. This is a well written, engaging and entertaining book. The characters are fun and Karl is snarky and hides her fears with a smart mouth. Draven tries to keep his distance from her because he had promised her brother to protect her at all cost. My only complaint about this book is there was never a true moment where the Bratva came close to finding her, so I didn’t get that feeling of urgency or fear for her life that I had hoped for or that we had gotten in other books in the series when the main female lead was under attack . So this is definitely worth reading, just a bit mild in my opinion. 4✨’s.

I loved this one. Dravin is so hot, so dark, so honorable, and so touch-her-and-unalive. In short, he’s delicious. Kael is filled with grief, but once she showed more of her personality she was a playful butterfly raven who saw the beauty in darkness and brought it to life. I liked both of them a lot and could totally see hanging out with them if they were real people.
Dravin made an unalive-bed promise to Kael’s brother that he would keep her safe from the cartel and they go on the run. The story really picks up when they end up with the Satan’s Angels MC. The book combines the best of love on the run with MC Romance.
You can read this book as a standalone, but do yourself a favor and read all of this terrific series.

Dravin is a glorified bodyguard/babysitter to a 27 year old petulant brat. Then he receives a call from a friend who asks him for a big favor.
Kael is 26 and for the last year has been hiding from the Bratva who killed her brother and his club and the families of those men. Then left her a babysitter. Who she is highly incensed with but drawn to.
Now Dravin has a job prospecting for a club which is driving Kael crazy. Her brother died because of a MC club. But her hands her tied (quite literally) and she will be Dravin's sister.
He becomes a part of the Satan’s Angels. But Kael is standoffish. Then the two come to blows.
Her rebellion and hate may be her demise or the new club's. But suddenly Dravin realizes he's drawn to his dead friend's sister.
Intense read and lots of trigger points for some people. But the story is fantastic and weaves it's magic into the reader's mind.

When Dravin's brother in arms reaches out to him for a favor, he knows he will not turn him down. Protect his sister from the storm that is coming for the MC he runs, they planned to take out everyone including family. Kael fights him every step of the way, she mad about having to leave behind the life she built away from her brother. When stops laying low, it is time to move her again, now they are pretending to be brother and sister, while he prospects for the Satan's Angels MC.

She sees them as no different than the 1 percent club her brother ran, until she gets know the ladies of the club. The more time the paid spend together, the more the chemistry heats up between them.

Each of the books in the Satan's Angels MC, tells of the story of each couple. The books should be read in order. Looking forward to the next in the series.

Dravin (Dray) is working undercover as a bodyguard. When he receives a call from his best friend Marcus, telling him that he needs his help because he's in serious trouble. One of their guys unleashed a beast on the club when they accidentally killed the Pakhan's daughter. Now the mafia is after everyone, including families. Marcus needs Dray to look after his sister Kael and protect her. Marcus finds that she is a force to be reckoned with. She's supposed to keep a low profile, but Dray finds her at an underground fight. So they need to move, and Dray has set up new IDs for them both and new jobs. His only problem, he has said, is that Kael is his sister. Now he's finding that his attraction to her isn't a good look if he's attracted to his sister. Kael certainly doesn't make things easy for Dray.
I received an Arc from Booksprout for my voluntary, honest review for NN Book Blog. If you love an MC romance with a sharp-witted FMC, then you will love this book. Although this is Book 7 in the Satan's Angels MC series, it can be read as a stand-alone.

Dravin is asked to protect Kael when his BFF, Marcus and her older brother, becomes the target of the mob. He tries to stay out of her way while still keeping an eye on her but she fights the constraints of hiding and rebels. Forced to move, he joins the Satan's Angel MC to protect them and because of the danger her brother faced from his MC, she refuses to engage with the MC. Things finally heat up when she pushes his boundaries and things get HOT. While this was a solid story, it dragged a bit and I got bogged down in the middle, having to push through. Because Kael wasn't interested in the MC life, they remained on the periphery and you never got that tight family feeling that usually comes with an MC story. Not my favorite in the series, looking forward to the next one thought.

Dravins life come to a head when an old buddy needs him to look after his sister when his buddies MC life goes bad after one of his members kills a sister to the mafia.
Dravin and Kael end up playing siblings yet they are anything but. Kael always hater her brothers involvement within an MC and now she is hiding out within one and she is none to happy until she meets the ol'ladys and realises they aren't all bad.
The way Dravin though scared still has the compassion to see another tortured soul and wants to help so his friendship with Dominic is just so nice I can't wait to read his book Carver as it's so fitting and I'm glad that we get a glimpse into the fact he gets better and can't wait to see what woman he gets.
As always another great story to this MC.

This was a great read with fab characters. I love how Dravin stepped up to help his friend by protecting Kael, his buddy's sister. She's a tough gal, though, and she's not impressed with Dravin taking her away from her life to keep her safe from the Bratva's revenge plans. I got a kick out of him telling anyone that she was his sister, and they have the fake ID to prove it (lol!) when the more time they're together, the less like a brother he feels. This was fun! Expect to get caught up in the drama, danger, action and hot romance when you dive into this entertaining read :D

Intense story. Dravin promises his best friend that he will protect his sister. He takes his promise seriously and moves them to Hart with new ID's. They are supposed to brother and sister but Kael becomes jealous of the club girls. Kael has determined that she is going to push Dravin's buttons, but he has a hard time accepting that he is worth the effort of a relationship. I enjoyed this book as Kael reveals her feelings and Dravin finds that he can't hide.

We're drawn into the lives of Draven and Kael. Marcus, Kael's brother and best friend, asks him to protect his sister. Draven accepts his offer, and they go into hiding with new identities. It's to be expected that Kael isn't happy about it, and she doesn't exactly cooperate. But it doesn't take long before sparks fly, and things get heated. Will they have a future together, or will they be discovered? A fantastic novel.

Dravin is book 7 in the Satan's Angels MC series and is a great, steamy, slow burn story that will completely captivate you and keep you glued to the pages from start to finish. Dravin is asked to protect his friends sister and she proves to be a hand full. Kael is no shrinking violet and between these two we're taken on one heckuva journey. Not quite as dramatic and intense as the previous books but Dravin is definitely an engaging read!

He swore to protect Kael at all costs and for Dravin it may come to just that. Kael is a woman that is a force to be reckoned with. She gives as good as she gets and her and Dravin goes head-to-head and then the sparks ignite. This action-packed story is filled with twists that draws you in and have you caught up in Dravin and Kael.

Second chance

That is what this book is about. Not a second chance at love. But a second chance at life. A threat brought them together, but life gave them each other and a family. I love this series and especially this book. My youngest son, his name is Dravin. I hold this book close to my heart.😉💚💙

I’m sure it was good, I enjoyed all of the others in the series, but I couldn’t get back into it after IUD instead of IED.
