Perfect Storm #3

Caught in a Storm

Rate this book
In the storm of life, some passions can’t be tamed.

Mila has spent her life working on Stormy Weather Farm, alongside her fiercely loyal, slightly eccentric family. The Storms believe in hard work, the importance of tradition, and—most of all—love at first touch. It’s a family legend, passed down like a vintage bottle of when you touch the one meant for you, you’ll just know.

Mila always thought it was just a romantic notion… until Boone.

A rugged, brooding single father with a past that still smolders, Boone has one giving his twelve-year-old daughter a stable, quiet life. Love? He’s been there, done that, burned the T-shirt. Or so he thinks…until Mila.

She’s all sunshine and cinnamon, and she makes Boone ache with cravings he thought were long dead. Every time she blushes, every time she touches him by accident, the tension coils tighter.

Soon, late-night harvests turn into stolen glances, and shared glasses of wine become heated whispers in the dark. But love is risky business, and Boone’s heart isn’t the only thing on the line—his daughter’s trust, and Mila’s future, hang in the balance.

As a reader we always love to feel like we are along for the ride as the H/h are getting to know one another and finding love, and I definitely felt like I was Caught in a Storm, right alongside Boone and Mila. Mari Carr takes us back to the mountains of VA and lets us experiences a beautiful winter filled with weather issues, all of the teenage angst of a “new girl” situation, and of course all the craziness of lust and love denied and accepted. Mila Storm is beginning to question her life as a sweet Storm girl more and more when she lands in the arms of the mans of her dreams, only to find herself soundly rejected, but soon her heart is invested in the Hansens, and she has to decide if she will fight for the man she can’t live without. Boone Hansen is determined to live out his life with no more attachments, burned badly by his first wife, but Mila challenges every desire and need he’s ever felt and the more time he spends with her and her family, the more he wants her in his life and his bed. When he finally gives in and takes her into his heart, Boone has to convince her that he will fight for them every step of the way and nothing and no one will ever tear them apart, or he could lose his only real chance at a happy ever after. I loved the heat and passion of the lightning strike between these two, but even more I was warmed by the slow burning fire they nurtured as they built a friendship and then love that will support them for all their years. I am very much looking forward to the next story in the series because I just bet Maverick’s story of woe and heartbreak that has been kicking him for years is going to be a doozie. Carr strikes gold again.

CAUGHT IN A STORM is the third in Mari Carr’s Perfect Storm series, about the big and sometimes boisterous Storm family and the famous family legend of “love at first touch”… Mila Storm has a reputation for being the sweet sister, the thoughtful, considerate, accommodating one. And honestly, she’s ready for a change—she wants more from her life, and the men she seems to attract don’t seem to see her as she is or care to treat her the way she longs for. Boone Hansen, the newly hired vineyard manager, is not in the market for a relationship. He’s been there, done that, has a frustrating ex-wife and a fantastic daughter to show for it… but meeting Mila is like a shock to the system for them both.

Mari Carr’s latest is as excellent as the preceding stories. Mila may be less experienced, but she knows what she wants. And Boone is motivated to guard not just his own heart but his daughter’s…. Yet their chemistry cannot be denied. Despite Boone’s best efforts…. Loved watching their connection build alongside Mila’s sheer kindness to Boone and Sadie, and how the Storm family draws them warmly into their community. Cheered all the way as these two fiercely loyal and loving people find their way to building a life together that is just what they’d never dared to dream of. Cannot wait for more in this series.

ARC: Swoony small town romance which is amazingly paced and will make you swoon

Mila & Boone‘s story is so swoony and giving all the found family, small town vibes with a single dad. I like this book and enjoyed it. She is more shy and adaptable and comes from a family that believes the family legend once you touch your person they‘re meant for you and also works at her family farm Storm Weather Farm. She sunshine and cinnamony. Boone is grumpy, broody and has been burnt by love in the past and is only interested in providing for his daughter until he meets Mila and she brings out cravings in him he buried and he finds it hard to stay away from her. There is tension and attraction between the two and i love Mila‘s sunshiny personality and we love a grumpy single dad that turns softer for his girls. I also like his daughters role in the book and their relationships

My favorite book in this series so far. I just fell in love with Boone, he is rough around the edges, broody, but a single dad to a twelve year old he will give his last breath. His “been there, done that, burned the t-shirt” is how his life has gone so far, until he saves a falling Mila from her ladder. She stirs feelings in him he thought were long buried.

Mila is the sweet sister of the Storm girls, but she is ready to break for this mold. She know what she wants, and Gracemont, VA does not currently have any bad boys who can help her out.

This is a fun read, as Boone and Mila tiptoe around the obvious chemistry, and how Boones daughter Sadie, brings out the softie in him. She also adds to their story. They complete each other. Looking forward to who we get to meet next.

Thank you to the Author for the advanced copy; this is my voluntary review.

Mila and Boone are that swoon-worthy couple I love to read about. The chemistry between them is undeniable even though they try to. I understand why Boone feels the way he does about relationships after his disaster of a marriage. Mila is such a selfless, strong character and hearing her backstory brought me to tears. I loved all the characters in the Storm family and Boone's daughter Sadie was a true representation of a pre-teen. The slow burn was filled with sexual tension and when it boiled over, the spice was so worth the wait. I loved this read and if you like single dads, age gaps, "will they/won't they" or secret flings, this read is for you.

absolutely wrecked me in the best way. Mari Carr poured every ounce of warmth, longing, and small-town magic into this story. Mila is sunshine personified—sweet, steady, and just a little shy—but when Boone walks in, that easy calm starts to unravel. The tension between them is chef’s kiss perfect—slow burn, full of heat, tenderness, and that aching kind of love that sneaks up on you.

Boone… wow. A single dad with rough edges and a heart he doesn’t think he deserves to give again. Every scene with him and his daughter melted me. And when he finally lets himself fall for Mila? Pure swoon.

The Storm family, the farm, the “love at first touch” legend—it all wrapped around me like comfort and fire at the same time. I laughed, teared up, and didn’t want it to end. This book is everything I want in a small-town romance—heart, heat, and hope. Just beautiful.

I'm such a sucker for small town, single dad, and second chance romance. And this book delivers on these. I really liked the characters too. They were very much relatable, likeable, and believable. One thing I loved about the main characters was the stolen glances / touches/moments that they shared. I feel like these were pivotal moments, the catalyst to their relationship forming. And it was beautifully written. I loved, loved seeing Mila and Boone fall for each other. Heartwarming, lovely read.

Thank you to the publisher and The Author Agency for an advance copy. My opinions are my own and freely expressed.

This is the third book in this impressive series, and this is Boone and Mila’s story.
Mila has spent her life working alongside her eccentric and loyal family, while Boone is a possessive single dad to his 12-year-old daughter, Sadie, and he just want to give her a stable and quiet life. There is an instant attraction between Mila and Boone, but he is haunted by his past and is not looking for love.
This is a well written easy to read story, with family, friendships, emotions, tension, a tad angst, secrets, trust, challenges, opposites attract, forced proximity, an age gap, romance, humour, witty banter, undeniable chemistry, and love, which leads to an entertaining, small-town romance.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Mila is the quiet one, the one who blends in with her surroundings, but Boone brings out all the things she keeps hidden! Mila literally falls into Boone’s lap, and it is all over for her. But, despite the attraction on both sides, he resists. Well, he wavers occasionally, but refuses to give in, until he simply can’t any more. It was all over for them by the time they reached that point though, and everyone knew it, it just took them a little longer to figure that out <3

Mari’s third book in the Perfect Storm series is an amazing read. It brings us Mila and Boone’s story. She is known as the sweetest and most thoughtful of the big Storm family and he is the single dad who was just hired as the manager of the vineyard.

The attraction and tension between them was perfection. Every little stolen glance or smallest touch had my heart melting, as Mila would blush and Boone would start falling more and more. This man had shut himself off from love after his previous experience. But when he fell, I was hooked. And the was Mila was with his daughter, loved every moment.

Touched by lightning

It’s Mila’s turn to be fall in love at first touch and whew, is it a dinger. In typical Mari style, the big, rugged, growly single dad reluctantly falls hard for sweet, quiet, fades-into-the-background Mila and when they share a light BDSM kink, it’s explosive. If you like big family, working together, age-gap, single dad, and a whole lotta spice, then run, don’t walk and catch this Storm story.

Another great Love at First Touch book by Mari Carr

Love the premise of the Storm family & their "legend" or curse (Hi Maverick).

Loved Boone for Mila (all around get it done girl and amazing cook/chef) and Mila for Boone (new vineyard manager). Delightful to see Mila connect with Boone's 12 yr old daughter Sadie.

Can't wait for Maverick next & his hopeful recovery of his curse.

I just love the Storm family. Mila is the quiet one that always puts everyone else first, taking on so many roles on the farm. She's heard the story of her aunt and uncle falling in love at first touch and then her cousins, and she hopes it will happen for her. What will happen when Boone Hansen, the new vineyard manger moves into a cabin on the farm and the sparks fly between them?

Universal

Mila's family legend says once you touch the person you're meant to be with, you just know. Unfortunately for her, she's met her soulmate and...he isn't about love or relationships except the bond he has with his daughter. So even though she's been dreaming of breaking out of her nice girl mode, she's not going to be able to do it with Boone.

Boone may not have wanted anything to do with love or relationships, but when he meets Mila and her family, he can't help but be drawn to her. She's sweet, she puts everyone she loves and their needs before hers, and her sunshine is warming the heart he had thought was closed for business. Being snowed in together will test both his restraint and his feelings and just might be the catalyst for these soulmates to act on their chemistry.

What a sweet, delicious couple Mila and Boone make. With her, he was able to be his true self, act on his long suppressed desires, and with him, Mila was able to explore her own desires and hand over her heart to someone who would treat her the way she had always wanted. Boone's daughter Sadie and Mila's family surround our couple with love, offering support, a bit of good natured teasing, and some of them have stories I'm very interested in reading in the future.

I just finished Caught in a Storm by Mari Carr, and I am still grinning! If you love small-town romance with a touch of magic and a whole lot of heart, this one’s for you.

From the moment I met Mila, I was hooked. She’s strong, grounded, and full of sunshine, exactly the kind of heroine I relate to. Her life on Stormy Weather Farm is steeped in tradition and family lore, especially the legend of “love at first touch.” Boone and his daughter Sadie move to Virginia for a fresh start, and it’s on Mila’s family farm that they meet.

Boone. Brooding, rugged, and emotionally guarded, he’s the kind of single dad who makes you want to hug him and shake him at the same time. Watching him slowly open up to Mila and to the possibility of love was pure magic. Every accidental touch, every stolen glance, had me flipping pages like mad.

Boone’s protective streak is unparalleled. Mila works herself to the bone on the farm, and Boone notices. He steps in without asking, making sure she eats, rests, and doesn’t burn herself out. It’s not just sweet, it’s hot. That quiet dominance, the way he takes care of her without smothering her, which bleeds into the bedroom in the most delicious way. He’s possessive in all the right ways, and when that intensity turns physical? Let’s just say I had to fan myself more than once. Mari Carr knows how to write a man who worships his woman with every touch.

Mila’s inner desires are written with such honesty and nuance. She’s independent and capable, no doubt, but deep down, she craves a man who takes charge; someone who sees her, understands her, and isn’t afraid to lead. Boone fits that mold perfectly. His quiet dominance doesn’t just show up in the way he protects her or helps shoulder her burdens, it’s in the way he claims her, emotionally and physically. Mila’s natural submissiveness isn’t weakness; it’s trust. She surrenders to Boone because she knows he’ll never misuse that power. Their dynamic is electric, built on mutual respect and raw chemistry, and when it spills into the bedroom? It’s intense, passionate, and absolutely unforgettable.

One of the most touching parts of the story is the bond between Mila and Sadie, Boone’s daughter. From the start, Mila treats Sadie not as a burden or an obstacle, but as a bright, curious soul who deserves love and attention. Their connection blossoms naturally through shared chores, quiet talks, and moments of laughter that feel like sunshine after rain. Mila doesn’t just fall for Boone; she opens her heart to Sadie, too. And Sadie, in turn, begins to trust Mila in ways that are deeply moving. Watching their relationship grow added a layer of sweetness and emotional depth that made the romance even more powerful.

This book isn’t just about romance, it’s about risking everything for love, even when the past threatens to cloud the future. I laughed, I cried, and I definitely blushed. Mari Carr nailed it again.

A huge thank you to Mari Carr and TAA for the early copy!

Another Storm bites the dust in Caught in a Storm. This time it's sweet Mila's turn.

Mila is one of my all time favorite type of heroine. She's the quiet sister, always ready and able to pitch in where needed. Sometimes spreading herself too thin but her heart is always in the right place. Her past was something that was real and it broke my heart that the trauma caused her to bury parts of herself she wasn't sure she'd ever get back. Especially when her soft biddable outer shell had people making the wrong assumptions about her, especially the type of men she was attracting.

But then she meets Boone and she feels the "love at first touch" magic and Mila starts to hope again. That Boone will really see her not the sweet unassuming girl everything thinks she is.

This was a very sweet (one-sided) insta-love story with a big family atmosphere, small town charm and spice that's on the naughty and kinky side. I loved Mila and Boone. Even though Mila knew instantly how she felt about Boone, it takes our MMC a little longer to get with the program. For one, he's an outsider so he doesn't know about the magic love at first touch legend and second, he's a single dad with his own past trauma to get over. I loved his stern level headedness. He was a perfect match for Mila's playful and sassy side.

Mari Carr wrote a beautiful love story with plenty of heat, romance and laughs. Every character, main and secondary, was well written, relatable and added to the story overall. I'm definitely interested in the other Storms - most memorably is Nora (with her OCD). I'm invested and can't wait to read more in this series!

This book sure did have me engaged from beginning to end! It was so well written that I could not put it down because I just knew Mila and Boone had a story to tell, and Mari had the perfect way of getting it across. I loved that it was told in a third-person point of view since it really gave us an insight into both characters’ feelings and thoughts compared to multiple people’s points of view.

Caught In A Storm takes place in a small town with so many wonderful characters and strong friendships between everyone. Both Mila and Boone were easy to fall in love with, and they were overall strong, fantastic characters. Boone’s daughter, Sadie, was so sweet, and every time she was around, I just knew it was going to be good.

Mila truly was a strong main character, full of compassion, and you can just see throughout the book that she cares so much about everyone, including her family. Even though she’s still working at Stormy Weather Farms, she’s ready to make a change and knows exactly what she wants.

Our MMC, Boone, is a single dad and the overall package! I found him so lovable and really caring, even though to others he could be considered broody, but that’s not entirely true. Deep down, he cares so much about not only his daughter but Mila as well, and you can just see how much as you continue to read their story. Once they give in to each other’s feelings, it’s so worth it.

The relationship shown between Mila and Sadie was well written, and it showed us just how much they enjoyed each other’s company and really cared about one another. They had so many wonderful moments together, and you could just see their bond continue to grow throughout the many scenes together. Sadie really put so much trust into our fmc, Mila, and it was so sweet to see.

I would like to start out by saying thank you to TAA and Mari Carr for having me be apart of this ARC team!! I absolutely loved this one. I ain’t got a single complaint or note!! I was sucked in so hard to this one.

If you know me, you know I ABSOLUTELY ADORE a single parent trope and this was no exception! So I was eating this up. This felt perfectly paced and hooked me immediately!! The storyline never felt jumpy or forced. Everything flowed effortlessly.

Mila’s backstory was well done and certainly made me cry. She was such a strong character. She is also like a sunshine-y personality and I really loved how Mari wrote her!

Boone is everything I love in a grumpy single dad that has been put through it when it comes to love… and it’s understandable too!! His relationship with Sadie was well written and I feel like she was the perfectly written “pre-teen.” LOL literally I may have seen too much of myself in Sadie from when I was that age!

Boone and Mila were the perfect swoon-worthy couple and I loved every bit of their story. Seeing Boone and Mila’s relationship unfold was really heartwarming and made me blush. Like you can tell he is trying so hard to stay away and I just loved seeing him cave to his feelings. I mean, it would have been impossible for him to stay away… did you see how Mila treated Sadie? Like absolute gold and the bond there was impeccable. Mari absolutely wrote the sweetest relationship between Mila and Sadie. Actually Mari just knocked this whole trio out of the park ✨

So with all this being said, do you love single parents and age gaps as tropes?! Cool. Because me too and I got the book for you! You should all check out Caught in a Storm by Mari Carr!! ❤️

✨Caught in a Storm

If you love:

🔹Single dad mmc
🔹Insta-love
🔹Age gap (13 years)
🔹Small town
🔹Second chance
🔹possessive alpha male

✨ This book follows Mila Storm and Boone Hansen. In the Storm family, there’s a legend—some call it a curse—where you meet your soulmate the moment you touch them. Sounds magical… until Mila touches Boone and realizes he wants nothing to do with love. He has no time for a relationship—his entire life is dedicated to raising his daughter.

💔 Mila is crushed and hides her pain behind a perfect façade. Everyone else believes the mask—but Boone sees her. The real her. The one carrying heartbreak. What follows is tension, angst, vulnerability… and plenty of comfort (and delicious family meals).

💜 One of my favorite parts? Even with her feelings for Boone, Mila forms a beautiful bond with his daughter, Sadie. She treats her with genuine care—befriending her, including her with her sisters, and helping her navigate the complexities of growing up. Their connection felt authentic and deeply meaningful.

🌿 This story is a sweet, heartfelt romance about second chances and the courage to be truly seen. It’s about healing, letting someone in, and remembering that being loved—and loving again—is not a weakness…it’s a gift.

ARC Review: Thank you to Mari Carr and The Author Agency for sending me an advanced copy of Caught in a Storm to read and review

This is book 3 in the Perfect Storm series. I’m not usually a fan of third-person POV, but Mari Carr does it right. This book started out slowly but picked up around the halfway point. The spice was definitely spicing.

There’s a legend in the Storm family. Some call it a blessing, and some call it a curse, that it will be love at first touch when they meet the right person. Mila felt like she had always been looked at as too nice, and that’s what she attracted. She had been going on bland dates with Pastor Joshua. She thought she was bound to a boring life until she literally fell in Boone’s lap.

I loved that Boone and Mila were compatible in what they wanted in the bedroom, and that neither had met the right person yet. The tension between these two for the book's first half was THICK. The push and pull between Boone and Mila was juicy. He’s protective of her and immediately picked up on her submissive nature. She’s inexperienced, but she knows what she wants.

Boone has a twelve-year-old daughter, Sadie, and Mari Carr hit the nail on the head. Sadie’s character was written to be age-appropriate. I also appreciated how the author included how Sadie’s mood would be different after she had visited her mom. It was just another way to write that character more realistically. I loved Mila’s relationship with Sadie.

Is there anything better than a growly single Dad who has true protective instincts that just melts the heart? Because Boone is that in every way. Mila maybe 13 years younger than him, but after 'coming to her rescue' and spending time with her and the 'Storm' family, he realises that she is wise beyond her years, she has had to be. Mila is there for his daughter Sadie, and the surly pre teen he bought kicking and screaming to Stormy Weather Farm literally shines being in the coming of Mila and her sisters.

But, Boone has been stung before, he doesn't want a relationship or anymore kids, but after that first touch when he broke her fall, his attempts to stay away are getting more difficult. Mila is sick of the 'sweet' girl tag, always being misunderstood, and always finds it hard to take compliments. Also, like Boone, Mila doesn't know how to say no to work, something that isn't missed by Boone, and his protective nature is in overdrive. He is a golden retriever in a delicious flannel package, and despite not wanting to hurt Mila, she also awakens in him what he thought no longer existed for anyone.

This pairing, like with the previous two books, is perfection. It's the kinda 'storm' you can only imagine, and I love Mari's writing.

Boone and Mila feel the magic at first touch. He rescues her from falling to the ground while removing Christmas lights and Mila feels like it is the touch that tells her he's her true love. Boone feels something too, but was very much against any kind of relationship. He and his 12-year-old daughter, Sadie, have just moved to the farm to be the Vineyard manager. He is hesitant to start anything with a woman after his disatrous divorce 10 years earlier. He blames himself and his "controlling" ways on why his wife left. It takes a lot of fortitude for Mila to not refuse to even be in the same room as him. He definitely ran hot/cold and you would have thought he was the one 13 years younger. I did respect his not wanting to have someone around Sadie that would disappear, but he certainly had a bunch of excuses for really not wanting to get hurt again. Mila was too nice for her own good some of the time. It needed to be more of someone putting Mila first. I felt like it was a lot of drama and angst without much of a payoff at the end for me. I am not a fan of 40 year-old men acting like toddlers.

One more Storm finds their love from the first touch.
I enjoyed previous books, so I had an inkling that I'd like this one too. And I wasn't wrong!

If you - like me - enjoy reading romance stories with some instant attraction, some inner storm (pun not intended), a bit of angst, very protective and definitely alpha like MMC, FMC that challenges him but also works with him so well as a team, big and noisy families (but ones that love and support each other), some banter, some jokes and quirks and also some spice, you'll definitely like this one too!
And I have to add, that normally I'm more of a fan on 1st person POV, as it usually provides more insight to the inner thoughts of the main characters and feels more emotional and involved. But the way Mari Carr writes the 3rd person POV is really great - it still feels close to action and all the feelings and doesn't feel impersonal at all.

And I'm so curious as for the next book after the little teaser!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

Every book in this series makes me love The Storm Family more and more!

This is another Storm love at first touch situation. When Mila falls off a ladder while taking down Christmas lights, she is caught by Boone, the newest employee at the winery, and instantly Mila knows. The problem is that Boone was burned by his ex-wife and even though it has been a decade, he has vowed to never be in another relationship. But Boone also feels the pull to Mila, he just does not know what it is. Although he tries to avoid Mila and deter her feeling, he cannot resist her huge heart, that not only extends to her family and helping with everything they need, but also to his 12 year old daughter.

When Boone and Mila finally give into their feelings, they realize that despite their 13 year age difference, they were made for each other.

I cannot wait for the next story! The epilogue has me already hooked!!!

Mila grew up on the Stormy Weather Farm, raised by her aunt and the rest of the big, loving family. She has just sort of given up on ever finding the one that gives her that spark. She thinks she is destined to always be thought of as the sweet one and be stuck with Mr nice but boring.
That's not at all what she wants though. Until one day, when she literally falls right into Mr Right's arms.

Boone is new to the Stormy Weather Ranch. He has accepted a position as vineyard manager. Just as he pulls up in front of the main house, he spots Mila up on a ladder trying to finish taking down Christmas lights. He sees her about to fall and hurries to catch her. He manages to cushion her fall but he feels sparks from their contact. Mila feels it too.

But Boone has a 12 year old daughter and Mila is part of the family of the owners of the ranch where he has his new job. But will they be able to avoid the sparks or get caught in the storm?

Mila has always done what is expected of her and she would do anything for those she loves without a second thought as long as it makes them happy. She knows what she wants even if she hasn’t had the best luck when it comes to men. When she meets Boone the feelings she has for him are unlike anything she has felt before, but he has made it clear he isn’t looking for love.

The only woman that Boone needs in his life is his daughter Sadie and that is the lesson that he learnt in the most painful way possible at the hands of her mother. He doesn’t believe that either he or Sadie are ready to let another woman into their lives, but he can’t deny that he is drawn to Mila like a moth to a flame.

Mila and Boone understand and support each other in a way that will touch your heart. The feelings between them are inspiring and the relationship they both share with Sadie only makes their relationship more special and catching up with the rest of the Storm family is always fun.

Mila lives on her family’s property, and Boone has recently been hired to manage the winery. Part of the arrangement is that he and his daughter get to live in a cabin there as well. Mila and Boone are instantly attracted to each other, but Boone is not looking for anything serious: Mila is, especially as more of her family members are finding their own partners. There’s a legend in their family that when you touch your soulmate you know. Boone and Mila grow closer but he still hasn’t changed his view on relationships; he wants to put Mila first and make sure she gets what she wants. Mila has stayed hidden in the background for too long, and Boone wants to take stuff off her plate for her to find her place. As winter progresses, Mila and Boone are snowed in together, but maybe all they do is a puzzle? Has either of their life goals changed, and what will happen to them? Maverick’s story is next, but he’s already been bitten by the legend.

A swoony small-town romance that will steal your heart! 💕 I absolutely adored Mila and Boone’s story — it’s another fantastic addition to Mari’s Perfect Storm series. This book has everything you crave in a heartfelt romance and will pull you right into the Storm family vortex.

Boone and Mila are total opposites — he’s broody, grumpy, and convinced love isn’t in the cards for him, while she’s a hopeless romantic who believes in forever. From the moment she quite literally falls into his arms, that infamous Storm family “love at first touch” magic sparks to life.

Boone, scarred by a past relationship, doesn’t believe he deserves love again… until Mila finds her way beneath his skin — and under him — and there’s no turning back.

Packed with angst, warmth, heart, and plenty of steam, this one will sweep you off your feet and straight into the storm. ⚡❤️

Caught In A Storm is the third book in the Perfect Storm series!! I am loving this series and all that it entails. Every book has hooked me in and made me keep reading it. Mari Carr has done a great job with this series and this book!

Mila is constantly surrounded by family especially since she lives on family land and also works with her family business. She has always been deemed the sweet one and for her it seems to attract a lot of boring individuals. That is until she literally falls into Boone, the new vineyard manager. Boone is a broody single dad who refuses to acknowledge his attraction to Mila since she is completely off limits. That is until the attraction they both feel goes past the point of no return.
