This just made me miss The Archived. I miss Mackenzie. I miss Wesley. I miss Roland. I just miss this world and it's fantastic characters.
I was so happy we got this little snippet where we focus on Wesley. He's such a unique character and HIS NAME IS REVEALED. HIS. REAL. NAME. IS. REVEALED.
Also can we just talk about how the last line of this story MELTED MY HEART BECAUSE OF FEELS.
I need a 3rd book and I need it ASAP. I'm not ready to say goodbye to this world or these characters.
Oh and I know Roland wasn't in this story, buuuuut I really want a book where Roland is the main character. I MISS THAT GUY. HE'S THE BEST. & I imagine him having a very interesting past!
I might do a video discussion on this story, because I NEED TO TALK ABOUT THIS with fellow Archived readers!

What an adorable little story to end the series. I know there was supposed to be a third book, but I'm perfectly happy with the way things wrapped up and this little story was just the icing on the cake!

YES I AM SO HAPPY THAT THIS WAS AVAILABLE! After reading the Unbound, I started researching about the possibilities of getting a third book in the series. And it Victoria Schwab says that she has plotted and planned out the third book and it might come out this year. But she doesn't know which type of format the book might come in but I really hope it comes out soon.
Have you ever went through the phase where you are in love with a book and don't wanna read anything else other then the book. And you keep rereading scenes and stalking the book, hoping that there are more things out that are apart of the series. Well that is what I went through for the books and then I came across this short story.
I was so happy and relieved to have something more to read. And I read it as soon as possible and this story was so nice and sweet. I loved it so much because it told us more about Wes and we got to learn a little bit more about his background. We finally learn about this mysterious boy with a lot of secrets.
It was interesting and if you are looking for something more of the Archived series, THIS IS YOUR CHANCE TO READ THIS! YOU NEED TO READ THIS BECAUSE I LOVE IT AND I KNOW THAT YOU WILL TOO!
Anyway, as you can tell I loved this and highly recommend it to everyone who has read the Archived series. It takes place after the Unbound, so read it after that book. Really short story from Wesley's POV. It was a decent enough read considering how much I hated Wesley turning into a typical slutty-flirty-cocky-secretive YA love interest in the second book. I still wasn't much of a Wesley fan in this, he was a bit too angsty for my liking but I guess it was nice getting a little more insight into his character, and his interaction with Mackenzie at the end was quite funny and cute.

I love Wesley. I love Mac. I love the Archive. I love Victoria Schwab. I wish this series would never end. :')

Such a cute little short story in the point of view of Wesley also known as Guyliner. Loved seeing his thoughts and how he sees Mackenzie. So cute! Did I mention we also get to find out what his REAL name is?

Leave the Window Open is a fun little bonus stories for fans of The Archived series. It takes place immediately after the second book and gives the reader an insight into Wesley’s mind. It was a fun change, one I appreciated after coming to love him so much in the second book. Plus, it answers the question that everyone had.
While not a necessity, this is a nice addition for fans who want a little more.

How do I even begin to describe what I just read? I just can't. There are no words for it.
It's not a secret that The Archived Series/Trilogy (gosh I don't even know how many books there will be I feel terrible) is one of my favourites, because of the plot and the characters. It's such an unique story, and Victoria Schwab is just awesome. And it's not a secret that Wesley Ayers is really important to me, I just love him so much.
So it was really special to me to read from his P.O.V., because as much as we got to know him in the first two books through Mac, being in his head, hearing his thoughts and his wishes was a whole different story. I can't help but love him so much more (never thought this is possible).
I don't know how to end this, because I still haven't grasped that this story actually happened. I'll probably reread it three times tonight (who am I kidding three times is not enough).
And as happy as I am, because Mac and Wes are just adorable, I also feel so hollow, because the third book is so far away, and I just need more. MUCH MORE.
Now excuse, I'm going to cry in a corner.

OH MY GOSH. I DID NOT KNOW THAT THIS EXISTED UNTIL 10 MINUTES AGO AND IT WAS AMAZING. I just finished this duology and I already miss it. WES'S NAME?!?! I LITERALLY CANT HANDLE IT.
Leave the Window Open is a WONDERFUL, AMAZING, FANTASTIC name for this story. I almost cried when I found out because of what meant in the other books. Please, I beg of you, read the Archived and the Unbound. and then read this masterpiece.
