Christmas Present takes a trip into Christmas Past for the O'Sheeran family this year.
The O’Sheerans gather to celebrate the holiday season with their expanding family at their family home in Ireland. As they settle in one night, they end up taking a trip into the past. Back to when Sean and Cormac, two of the three older generation O’Sheeran men, got more than they bargained for at Christmas.
Cormac and Sean are determined to give their mother a special Christmas gift this year. Something that she doesn’t have. But what do you get the woman who says she has everything she wants and doesn’t need anything else? During their hunt for the perfect gift, they meet two beautiful, intriguing, and sassy women—women who aren’t falling at their feet, dazzled by their charm, good looks, reputations, or money. If Sean and Cormac think winning Brenda and Cyndi's hearts will be easy, they find out it isn’t. There are missteps, misunderstandings, and a whole lot more trying to ruin their greatest gift for their mother and them.
However, Sean and Cormac persevere and bring their mother and the rest of their family a gift they never imagined. Together with their brother Patrick and his soulmate, Maeve, these two new couples began the next generation of O’Sheerans.
As their story concludes, the family counts its blessings and is thankful for the angels it has been gifted as soulmates. The family is looking forward to adding more angels over the next year and the years to come. After all, the younger generation has to carry on the tradition of finding and marrying their soulmates. Who knows? Maybe by next Christmas, other O’Sheerans will be blessed to be gifted with their angels. Six have fallen, which leaves nine more anxious for their happily ever afters with their soulmates, their gifted angels. Could one be delivered in the coming year?
An avid reader with a passion for romances that finally got the chance to write one of her own. The rest is history. Not what anyone thought for someone who has been a nurse and in healthcare management for years.
I sit writing as my two fur babies, my pugs Kujo and Khaos, impatiently wait for me to get done so they can lay on me as their human sofa!
My children are finally considered to be adults, so it's me, the hubby and the dogs.
I'm a iced tea drinking fiend who has insomnia, more ideas than I know what to do with, and a need to write them down.
Not too bad for a girl from rural Ohio in the foothills of Appalachia that grew up in a town of about 4000 people.
I really liked the set up of this one, the big family gathering where they tell stories of the past in reference to family history. It was fun to see these two couples get together. I really like how the women didn't take the guys seriously and made them work to win them over. But the best was the girl beat down at the end, so great!
I've been loving the O'Sheeran books since the beginning and finally being able to get a glimpse into the stories of the older generation has been a joy.
It's Christmas in Ireland and the multitude of O'Sheeran generations are gathered to celebrate. They're ready to have laughs and make memories, all while taking a little trip down memory lane.
We're taking a dive into the love stories of Cyndi and Cormac and Sean and Brenda. Cyndi and Brenda have simple dreams and they didn't expect a chance encounter with the O'Sheeran men. But these two women are not going to bow down to these men and are going to give them a run for their money.
It's full of love, laughter, and all the Irish charm you could want in this holiday story. So pull up a cup of hot cocoa (regular or spiked) and settle in for a Christmas tale that's sure to warm your heart!
I loved this glimpse into the other two OG couples that produced the next gen of O'Sheeran's. Sean and Cormac meet best friends Brenda and Cindy while Christmas shopping for their mom and sister in law. Working retail at a high end boutique, selling jewelry and creating unique fragrances, while sharing an apartment, is keeping their heads above water, but barely. When two very rich, very handsome but notorious single guys show their interest, they are sure that its just a ploy to get into their pants. They aren't looking to be a hookup so Sean and Cormac have to work to get these ladies to give them a chance. Such a fun, entertaining read!!
It's Christmas in Ireland, and the O'Sheeran family is getting together to share some laughs and make some memories. The two younger O'Sheeran brothers and their wives are taking center stage, regaling the younger generation with tales of how they met their soulmates. It's a story of love, laughter, and a healthy dose of Irish charm. So grab a cup of hot cocoa and settle in for a Christmas tale that's sure to warm your heart! This series is definitely not full of blarney!
omg i love this one. we got a glimpse of the love story from the beginning. Cormac and Sean have always been soldiers for the family mafia. they have always had women around. they never had a girl tell them no. cyndi and brenda’s are simple girls with simple dreams. they where just taking life as it went. till they meet they boys. now they are mixing with the money people. trying to fit in. they have to make a decision about the men. take them in as they are. or walk way. life choices that changes their life forever. they get together at Christmas for story of family. super cute.
The O'Sheeran family is gathered in their homeland to celebrate Christmas. While there, the older O'Sheerans regaled tales to the newest members of the family on how the three O'Sheeran guys met their soulmates. It was fun and entertaining seeing the guys have to work to get the attention of the women they wanted for life. This was a really good read. I always like catching up with this family.
I love how the O'Sheeran's have always placed their family before anyone or anything else. It's truly unique in this world. I also really like how/where they spend their Christmases. It's definitely a special and entertaining way for the family to enjoy the holiday. It's a fantastic story for the holidays. I would definitely recommend this book, series, and author.
This is the best time of the year thank you so much for not one couple but two I must have been very good in a past life. I am so Brenda the earrings come of and the hands do the talking. Brilliant from start to finish and now I can't wait for my next instalment won't spoil by naming names but it wasn't who I was expecting but oh so intrigued. Thank you for another great read.
Love this “prequel” to the OSheeren saga by Ciara St James!! Learning how Sean & Cormac found their soul mates was an amazing story! Love that the evil triumvirate of socialites & the creepy store manager got theirs in the end was perfect. Now I’m just waiting with bated breath for Cathal’s story!!
This is a great Christmas story. The O’Sheeran’s are all gathered around the homestead in Ireland to celebrate the holidays with their loved ones and to celebrate with their mom. They are letting all of the new generation in on the family history of finding their “Soulmates”. The three men speak of finding their true loves and what led them to them. They speak of instant attraction that turns to real, deep, love for each other. In the end they all celebrate and support each other and the love that they share and that’s continues to grow all thur the family and thur time.
Loved the story about the O’Sheerans. I’m not familiar with this book series, so now I’m going to have to add it to my TBR list. This 25 days of Chrismas series is sure to make my TBR list way longer :-)
Love this book and it's series and would recommend it to anyone who loves to read about Mafia life and their families and friends 🧡 and Ciara St James is an amazing writer ❤️
It was nice to find out how the “Elders” found their soulmates. The way Sean and Cormac had to prove to Brenda and Cyndi that they loved them. All the parents want their children to find their soulmates and be as happy as they are.
I loved reading about the parents. It shows the fruit doesn’t fall far from the tree. Are there really women like the ones chasing the ‘boys’? Loved it, but as usual I didn’t want it to end.
I loved this book. Although I am familiar with this family I don’t remember their stories which concerned me. It made no difference. The story is amazing!
