Gravetree Estates: A Novella

Rate this book
Giselle Moreau thought Gravetree Estates was the fresh start her family needed. A beautiful home, a quiet neighborhood just outside New Orleans, and enough space to finally breathe.

But the deeper they settle in, the more Giselle realizes Gravetree is too perfect—painfully perfect.

The neighbors are polite, but their smiles don’t quite reach their eyes. The community rules are strict—and strangely specific. And something about the land hums under Giselle’s skin like it knows her… or remembers her.

When her children begin to change and her husband starts slipping away, Giselle is forced to confront a horrifying the residents of Gravetree aren’t just unfriendly. They’re hungry.

As ancestral spirits stir and blood secrets rise, Giselle discovers her lineage is rooted in powerful Black witchcraft passed down through generations—magic she never knew she carried. Now, she must awaken her dormant gifts before the neighborhood’s dark legacy swallows her family whole.

Because Gravetree doesn’t want them to leave.

It wants them to stay—forever.

The land was waiting for her

The Gravetree Estates was a different type of story a family moves into an HOA and the weird things started occurring. The wife noticed immediately but the husband chucked it up to coincidences. The Estate and house were waiting for her the root worker. I enjoyed this short read if you like slight Paranormal and mystery this is perfect.

Different pace

This was a whole different type of read. A little creepy but intriguing. Definitely kept me in suspense. Overall good book.
