This book is a pattern treasure trove. It starts the patterns immediately. This is not a how-to book at all. Hah!

I like the way it breaks down the sections. Each is based on the type of precut. Layer cakes, charm packs, fat-eights, etc.

I want to make so many of the quilts in this book!

Especially Retrolicious which finally gave me a good idea for what to do with all the "vintage" reproduction fabrics I have.

I made a set of placemats using fabric I got for Christmas, using the four patch technique with 10 inch squares on page 52. It was so much fun to open up those four patch blocks after sewing them! A surprise in each one.
This book is FULL of a multitude of ideas. It will dazzle you! It took me a couple of weeks of coffee breaks to look at all the quilts.
