I read and studied this book along with others in my Sunday-School class. There has been some profound discussion that took us beyond the scope of the book. This book initiated dialogue prompting meaningful application for all of us.

I found that this study got us to focus on the Apostle Paul’s intent for his readers: edification of the body of Christ through application of spiritual gifts in mutual submission according to God-given roles. The book of Ephesians in my opinion urges the believer to “put off the old man” and “put on the new” by setting aside bitterness and wrath- all evil, but rather by being “imitators of God” being kind, tenderhearted, forgiving one another as Christ has forgiven us (4:25-5:1)

This book can provide a guide to leading a Bible study on Ephesians or assist in a personal study on the book. Either way the author provides many great questions to help foster meditation on a book that has great meaning to any stage of life. With additional notes regarding the cultural norms of the time it was written and application ideas, the book will help create a meaningful study of Ephesians.

All of the books in this series are solid theologically and ask good questions. Its the best single series I've personally used for introducing a book along with its purpose and who it was written to (if its an epistle) and why it was written. Very good stuff.

A good Bible study tool for small group which I church used in 2014. I appreciated the questions and also notes and it is great for conversation and fellowship. Our church really like the Navigators’ series and this book does not disappoint. I recommend it.

Excellent Bible study for my women's group this spring. The questions led to deep introspection and allowed us to connect and unify in an amazing way. I highly recommend it!
