I have written enough on this six part short story. I’m going to sum this one up to say, read it for yourself. Not many of you would be disappointed!

Kristen doesn’t want to be mated to the Alpha of the Vlodik’s and makes another escape with the Alpha’s daughter. When she makes it back to her pack, she finds out Marcus and a few of the weremen have left to try to get her back from the Vlodik’s. She’s torn between staying where she feels safe and going out to look for Marcus and the others.
When Marcus makes it back to camp, Kristen can’t wait to see for herself that he is ok. Last she knew, he had been badly hurt by Dorian and left for dead. Is Kristen finally safe from the Vlodik’s and Doran? Will Marcus and Kristen get a chance to have their happily ever after? Did Dorian finally give up on claiming Kristen as his?
OMG, I was so happy to see Kristen get away from the Vlodiks. Those men could use a class in how to treat a woman. I know they are werewolves, but still they could use a class or two in manners. I was on edge to see when she would tell Marcus about her being pregnant. I do have to say though, I really like Kristen, no matter how bad things seemed to get she never gave up hope and kept trying to get away and find Marcus again. She is my hero for being persistent enough to not give up despite the odds of her escaping.
I loved how the author showed that not all of the Vlodiks were like the Dorian or the Alpha. I felt so bad of his daughter . It must have been so heartbreaking to realize that what you thought your family was like wasn’t the truth. The author had me on edge waiting to see if Kristen would get free before she would be forced to mate with the Alpha or if Marcus would come back before her with the rest of his pack. I would definitely recommend this book but I do suggest you read the other books first!

Why? Why? Why?
I would give this more stars but this author has a thing for the word meaty!!!!!! I can't even get through a sex scene and she uses the wordy meaty constantly.....legs, arms, balls, and butt lol........I mean come on? But I guess to each their own. But every time she referred meaty balls like she did in part one and two I kept thinking of rolled up hamburger balls. SMDH I finished the series and I'm glad it was unlimited and yes I still paid I guess for them but I do read more than 5-10 books a week. But I needed to finish this series cause I'm thinking surely she won't continue to use this word......lol I was wrong in every book it's there and then some. Theres some action with the psychotic brother Dorian but other than that, that's about it. Glad this is over I don't want to see the word "meaty" for a long time.

I am not normally a lover of serialized stories that make up a normal sized novel. However, Kate Kent has changed my mind. Every single part of this series was well written and kept me on the edge of my seat. When Part 5 ended I gasped, cussed, and wanted to throw my much loved Kindle. I am sure anyone can knit pick a story to reveal flaws but I believe that some errors can be overlooked when a great story is the end result. The characters Kate creates you can actually visualize to the point of almost counting freckles. The love between the characters is palpable. The sex scenes are erotic and written in such a way that it's spellbinding. *Sigh* :) I look forward to more of the Lycan stories.

A review of the series since they're so short
At first I found the books mildly entertaining. It was a decent enough plotline and the set up for climax was good. However, multiple problems kept me from enjoying this. One, repetitive descriptors. Everything about her man is meaty--his meaty hands, his meaty balls, his meats a$$. You get the idea. The worst though, at least for me, was the sex described in a biologically impossible way. A man cannot "thrust his c -ck deep into my clit" nor can "my clit muscles fully enclose around his meaty tool". Impossible. The dialogue was awkward as well. "Oh, Markus! .You lick me so good. I want your thick tool" etc etc. This was a no go for me.

Escape and retreat
With the Vlodik Alpha’s declaration of wanting to take Kristen as his mate, stirs up all kinds of trouble. Dorian’s not please and neither is Talika, the Alpha’s daughter. Her mother just died and isn't even buried yet. But seeming to except it she takes Kristen to get cleaned up while everyone say’s their goodbye’s to her mother. You’ll have to read the book to find out more. Great end to the series. Well written and very enjoyable to read. Nice and steamy with some surprises within this book. I was given a copy for an honest review.

Kristen has just gotten a shock from the evil Alpha. Will she ever make it back to Marcus? She is determined and with a little luck and help she might finally make it back to him, and finally find out if she really is pregnant.
This is the conclusion to this story. Apart each part has been short but when you add it all together you get one big read packed full of adventure, trouble and mayhem.
We've seen Kristen go from a shy girl to happy in her own skin and fiesty as can be. It's been quite a journey and I've enjoyed every bit of it.

I loved it! I have followed this series from Part 1 thru Part 6 and it was awesome! It just kept getting better and better! Exciting! Action Packed! Thrilling! Addictive! Romantic! Sensual! Sexy! And Hot as a cat on a hot tin roof! Oh my! Well developed characters that seemed to jump off the page and grab your complete attention! An imaginative story that was captivating and addictive! Kent has once again demonstrated her exceptional talent to both entertain and enthrall us with her magic! I can hardly wait to read her next series!

Crazy a ring the Alpha: Part Six
What a great story. I have spent the last three days on the edge of my seat. I have avoided serialized books, but I have changed my mind. I love the characters in this story, even the bad guys. Trust me, there are some really evil people who have no concern for others. The happily ever after for Markus and Kristen is everything I could hope for and more. Nope you have read Part Six. Thank you again Kate for a wonderful series. I will be sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for the Lycan Lovers serial, Taming the Alpha!

When everything seems to be going badly for Kristen, she manages to escape the Vlodics with a little help. This is for books 1-6:
Curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction did NOT bring it back! The only reason I finished this series was to find out the ending. Not worth it. Characters were one dimensional. I didn't feel any kind of emotion from them. The sex scenes were not hot. Couldn't the author use other words besides 'rod' and 'tool' to describe a penis? The villain was not very dark. The story would have been saved if any of the many, many threats happened. The bad guy liked to talk and threaten a lot. Too bad he didn't follow-through!

Great Ending!
What a great ending to this series!
I totally enjoyed this last book in this series, the way Kristen finally escapes and reunites with Marcus after all the trials and tribulations they have endured. I really wish he would have let Kristen finish Damien off cause I have a feeling he is going to cause havoc in the future.
And such a touching ending, I loved it!

Kate has done it again, I loved the ending. I had been wondering about something that is referred to in most SHIFTER books ,that wasn't being mentioned till the end. He was just not mentioning it. He was wondering when she would tell him, but when she did , he had a bigger surprise for her. I look forward to the spin-off series, and hopefully there will be times when people from these six

Kristen has escaped with the help of someone she thought had sold her out, but not everything goes smoothly on their escape. Dorian is still tracking them, and when things truly go south back at the Vickers Camp, Kristen makes her stand.
This was a really sweet ending to great story, I really enjoyed this story, even with my fears in part two

Sure, you got the HEA, but this one was more flat emotionally than the other books. It wasn't horrible but it just felt deflated.
