I really enjoyed this book. I was drawn into the story line and the lives of the characters from the first pages. It was fun following Savannah's story as she discovered God's love in her life and the plans God had for her. This is the first book I have read by this author but I look forward to reading more from her and am looking forward to the second book in this series.
The author did a fantastic job of showing the reality of those living in poverty both physically and spiritually. Watching the transformation once the characters meet and follow the Lord brings hope and encouragement. It also helped me to give thanks for my relationship with my Heavenly Father.
This is a "feel good" book....a true journey of a young woman, orphaned & is led by God onto a new journey she could never have imagined. Be ready to laugh & cry as Savannah has her life transformed by a series of events. You will love this book.....can't wait to read book 2.
Sherrie Giddens gives us a wonderful first book, "Savannah" in the Sabbath Christian Romance Series. It is so awesome to see how God works in her life, as she learns about Him and how she softens about the relationships around her. This is a must read.
This book was nicely written providing the reader a view of Christian living without being preachy. The characters had flaws just like we do and struggled just as we do for the answers to life's complications.
