Window Shopped

Rate this book
Dia figures by now that he could be no ordinary dude, the bloke who keeps looking at her through the window of the Mansfield bookstore where she works as a store clerk. He's definitely up to something and somehow she feels like a target. Her mom, Elnora seems to be the only one who doesn't think Dia is over reacting; she keeps telling Dia to avoid public gatherings and the stuff they call social media.
Dia just cannot understand her mother's suddenly weird behavior after Dia shows her a photograph that fell from the stranger who keeps staring at her through the window. The photograph bears a selfie pic of Dia and her best friend, Greet. The scribbling on the back of the photo makes no sense to Dia but on reading it her mother insists that it's time for them to pack their belongings and leave town urgently without telling anyone their whereabouts.
Dia insists on the truth from her mom but her mom insists there is no time for the truth; they only have time to run.
A story of hate, love, intrigue, untruthful identity, deceit, betrayal, the assassination - that's long overdue and unconditional love.
