it is a short recipe book and contains a meal plan. However I would absolutely not get this for diabetes. I know she means well, but there is misinformation in here and especially around carbohydrates for diabetics. The suggested meal plans are not low carb and they will spike blood sugar, being that the total carbs per day run from a suggested 45g to over 100g. This is not safe if you are trying to control insulin, have insulin resistance, or are on medication for diabetes. This would be a nice simple meal plan for others not with diabetes and are looking for a family recipe book.
