Lots of great “spooky” stories drawn and told in different comic styles, The Simpsons are forever classic and both borrow heavily from pop culture while bringing in fresh jokes and writing. I haven’t watched the show in a very long time but I still love the older seasons and all the Treehouse of Horror episodes. If you’re like me and jonesing for next Halloween already, borrow this book and enjoy a smile or ten. Lots of laugh out loud material - some great Homer moments in here.

I received an electronic copy of this comic in return for a review.

Similar to a regular Simpsons Treehouse episode, there are two stories in this comic. The first seemed horribly boring, but ended with a twist that saved it, while the second was cutely clever. However, the second story was nearly ruined by a single landscape panel. For some reason, in mobi format, landscape panels turn out so small that the text can't be read.

Other than that flaw, an enjoyable bit of fluff.

I received a free copy of this e-book in exchange for an honest review.

The Tree House of Horror episodes of the Simpsons have always been among my favourites of the show. They are often hilarious and full of in-jokes relating to the film they are spoofing. Well, this book contains two tales of comic terror. In the first one, Homer comes across an establishment that promises free doughnuts and beers. Of course, Homer being Homer cannot pass up free anything specially two of his favourite things! But all is not what it seems - will Homer escape the terror of the Monster Mash-up!

The second tale features Bart and Lisa in a story called Alienated! Something strange is happening Springfield High School and it is linked to the school dinners. Both of these tales are fun and made me want to start watching episodes of the show. Highly recommended for fans of the show - it will not disappoint!
