I loathe the day I ran smack dab into the hard chest of Alister Howl, Avix University's second-string quarterback. I should've run the moment that beautiful liar smiled my way.
Unfortunately for me, he takes my dismissal as a challenge and comes back twice as hard. But how can I be with him if I can't trust him?
And that is how I end up at a party, locking lips with campus playboy and ultimate bachelor, Brady freaking Lancaster. Just like that, I'm "Brady's girl".
I have no idea where things go from here.
But one thing is for sure, fake dating one football player while his teammate tries to win me back is going to be one hell of a ride...
A third interconnected standalone in the universe of TikTok sensation Say You Swear, from bestselling author Meagan Brandy.
USA Today and Wall Street Journal bestselling author Meagan Brandy writes New Adult romance books with a twist. She is a candy crazed, jukebox junkie who tends to speak in lyrics. Born and raised in California, she is a married mother of three crazy boys who keep her bouncing from one sports field to another, depending on the season, and she wouldn't have it any other way. Starbucks is her best friend and words are her sanity.
No you don’t understand this was HORRIFYINGLY bad. Like I actually think I need to go touch grass and call up an Etsy witch and pay her to somehow wipe this travesty from my memory.
So since this is Cameron’s book, I want justice for Trey idgaf who or what an Alister is. What tf happened to him??? If he’s evaporated into thin air and we must chose, than #TeamBrady
I was obsessed with the first book in this series, and the second wasn’t quite my favorite, but I’m happy to report that this was great! I didn’t love it as much as ‘Say You Swear’, but it was such a fun time.
I love a good friends to lovers/fake dating romance. Though there was a short time I wasn’t sure who Cam would end up with, eventually I figured it out and was so happy with her choice! I love the set up for Chase’s book and I’m excited for that one.
I think maybe, with the exception of Say You Swear, this author is just NOT for me. Promise Me Not was wholly unreadable and while this book was better I rolled my eyes no less than 385 times.
these kids at 20 years old acting like theyre 35 with mortgages - I dont know, just the dialogue and life discussions etc read way more mature than 20 yr olds in college
I really don’t wanna give this book three stars I really don’t 😭 because it was actually so fkn good, like wow. But at the same time, I also have so many complaints, and it all has to do with Cameron.
Number one I don’t believe she loves Brady. As a best friend? 100%. But as a lover? I don’t see it. What she feels for him is lust, not love. To be honest shes pretty frekin shallow
When Brady wanted to end their fake relationship because this sweet, sweet man was so scared of getting hurt by Allistar in case Cameron still wanted to be with him do you wanna know what Cameron’s reaction was? She couldn’t give a fuck. No, legit, I’m not even kidding. She was like okay, and didn’t give two fucks. She just went with the flow. If they never ended up together, she would’ve moved on perfectly fine.
And at the end? Instead of ever reassuring Brady, she danced with her ex, Trey, letting him put his hands on her waist just to make Brady jealous. Like, I don’t care if this was another book and it was about getting the guy’s head out of his ass, maybe. But this is Brady. This sweet man who just wanted reassurance but never got it from her.
Another issue: SHE NEVER SAID “I LOVE YOU” TO HIM. NOT ONE SINGLE FUCKEN TIME.
And she was always the one initiating the intimate scenes where he was more soft and heartfelt, she just wanted to bang him. That’s why I genuinely believe what she feels isn’t love it’s lust. She never gave him the emotional depth or vulnerability he deserved.
Also guys big ass spoiler but Brady is a virgin

4.5⭐️ College quarterback Alister Howl wants Cameron Cox, the spitfire student he had a fling with until she found out he was a liar. Cameron wants to be left alone. Enter campus playboy Brady Lancaster, Cam’s friend, who pretends to be her fake boyfriend to get Alister off her back. But Alister is determined to show Cam he’s not the man she thinks he is.
WOW. I absolutely devoured this book from start to finish. It was fresh, flirty, and fabulous - and I completely ate. It. up. I don’t believe I have ever enjoyed a love triangle that much. My favorite part? The fact that I literally had no idea who the male main character was until I neared the midway point, as our FMC seems to have a strong connection to not just one, but two potential love interests. That said, as a fan of one trope in particular, I had a rooting interest almost from the start (my lips are sealed as to whether he ended up winning her heart). And I loved how well MB develops their characters separately and together, slow burn style, over the course of the book. No one writes a messy love story like she does. It is incredibly easy to become entranced in the world of the Avix Boys, and I now anxiously await the next installment of the series.
Read if you like: ▪️football romance ▪️college setting ▪️found family ▪️love triangles done right ▪️hot hookups ▪️fake dating ▪️slow burn
“I nod, looking across the yard toward Cameron’s childhood bedroom window. “She, uh, snuck up on me.” “The good ones always do.”
⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 🌶️.5
This book took my emotions on a journey. I was a-little confused at first with not getting any back story to understand the character dynamics with this being an interconnected standalone but I decided to trust the process.
I really liked the character diagonal driven writing style. It was very easy to read and super fast paced with a tension filled slow burn that kept me turning the pages! I thought the friends to lovers relationship was told great in this! It felt super realistic like you were growing with the characters.
I don’t like that it felt super choppy with the start and stops of chapters. I was hoping for a-little more fluidity in the storyline. The ending of this book lost me….. we had such a good build that never delivered. Also some of the sub troupes felt clunky and didn’t make sense to the characters story maybe? 🤔
However I was definitely entertained all the way though ❤️
Trust Me Always completely surprised me in the best way. When I received the ARC, I was nervous because I absolutely loved the first book, but book two didn’t quite hit the same for me. That said, this one might just be my favorite of the series so far.
The use of three POVs added so much depth to the story. First, we have Cameron, a girl picking up the pieces after a messy breakup. She’s trying to move forward, and she’s got Brady, her loyal best friend, helping her every step of the way. The connection between Cameron and Brady? Perfection. Their friendship felt so authentic and supportive, and I was rooting for Brady the entire time. He’s the kind of guy who would move mountains for the people he loves, and honestly? Friend-to-lovers will always be elite.
Then there’s Alister, the ex. He’s the character you love to hate, constantly pushing to win Cameron back even when it’s clearly complicated. His persistence made for some serious drama, and while I didn’t always agree with his choices, he added a necessary tension to the story.
The ending wrapped things up in such a satisfying way. I’m genuinely so happy with how the relationships evolved and grew.
Now the only question is, please tell me there’s going to be another book in this series?!
okayy soo this wasn't the WORST and out of say you swear, promise me not, and trust me always, i prefer this one (trust me always) the most. IF were talking abt the entire universe which includes the fumbled futures duology, then no this one isn't better than defenseless hearts but it's second best so far. with that being said, this book still had lots of problems for me.
BUT i'll start with why i enjoyed this one.
!!!SPOILERS!!!
what i liked: 1) this book was very fast paced. i think this one took the least amount of time for me to read and overall the story felt quick. my book was 335 pgs and had 40 chapters but it didn't rly drag for me until the last 15% of the book (which i'll get to in a bit).
2) i liked both main characters! overall, i've always liked brady and cameron so reading from their povs wasn't terrible! BUT i'll talk abt the 3 povs in a bit....
3) i LOVEE friends to lovers so this was cute and we got lots of them even from the first book so it was easy to root for brady and cameron to be together.
4) brady's pov specifically had me DYINGGGG he was so funny at times and yeah ngl this book made me laugh lots.
5) SLOW BURN AYYYYYYYYYY 😛😛😛
now here are the problems i had with this book: 1) EXTREMELY LUSTY EUGH. brady was such a gentleman at times and RLY good with cameron but, he was also super lusty and i hated that. it was so gross to read and made me uncomfortable.
2) i didn't like alister's pov. overall, okay i felt bad for alister but at the same time, cameron was TOO nice to him. she needed to get a restraining order on him bcz the way he would NEVER leave her alone, LITERALLY PUT HIMSELF IN ONE OF HER CLASSES TO FORCE HER TO TALK TO HIM, and ALSO not to fricking mention him using her in the first place. idk why do i lowkey feel like we got more of alister's pov than brady's? at least in the beginning it felt like that and it was weird.
3) the last 15% of the book was DUMB. the stupid miscommunication, trey RANDOMLY coming back, the book ending in smut (i think all the books ended like that so far - LAMEEE). it was just unnecessary.
4) LISTENNNN i know this is drama from the first book BUT i just HATE how QUICKLY these people moved on from what chase did to ari. it's always "aw chase it's so hard for him to watch ari and noah be together" and "the noah, ari, and chase drama" LIKE STFUUU HE LITERALLY SLEPT WITH HER THEN GHOSTED HER JUST BCZ HE WAS TOO MUCH OF A WUSS TO BE WITH HER TF???? brady made me so mad bcz he was all like "oh alister hurt my cammie girl" OH BUT CHASE DIDN'T HURT UR "ARI BABY" (he calls her that)??? i know chase liked her but i'm sorry HE was the one who did ari dirty, not the other way around idc i'll defend ari with my LIFE when it comes to that whole drama. also seeing ari's mom and chase having their moments UGHHHHH so annoying. i don't even remember brady being a little mad abt what chase did to her. it just annoys me so bad and knowing that chase's book is next - RAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!
5) i talked abt this but this needs a seperate place bcz it's so bad. the car wash chapter was SO LUSTY AND CRINGE. one of the worst chapters i've ever read. IDK I'M SORRY IT MADE ME SO UNCOMFORTABLE.
And girl’s got a booty. Ever since she and Ari did that Booty Bootcamp thing, whatever the fuck that is, it’s been poppin’. She’s most definitely kept up the routine. It’s high and round, and I’ve got the sudden urge to give it a little tap. Maybe a squeeze or two, you know, just to see how soft it is. I glare harder at the offending underwear.
“Pretty sure when your leg stretches to take a step, them things are gonna slide up and out will plop a cheek.” (brady to cameron btw).
BLEHHHHHHHHHHHHHH 🤮🤮🤮 idk man it's just NAWT IT FOR MEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!
6) okay so cameron has this disease thing and she told brady that she wants to adopt. TILL THE END OF THE BOOK, brady says this:
“I want to give to another child out there somewhere what my dad gave to me simply by being nothing more than the man he is. I will adopt one day,” he says surely. “It’s a lot, I know, but it's something I’ve known about myself for a very long time.”
OKAY SO brady's dad isn't actually his dad and the biggest plotwist in this book is despite brady being known as the "playboy" and stuff, he's a virgin. ANYWAY, THIS MAN NOT ONCE MENTIONED HE WANTED TO ADOPT. i can see what the author is trying to do her. idk how to feel abt it tho. it's fun to have these reveals but at the SAME TIME, idk i'm reading their pov i just feel like i should know this stuff YK???? idk maybe it's just me but he mentioned to cameron once abt his dad not actually being his biological dad and then never brought it up again until the end of the book. it sorta bothered me.
7) not many memorable quotes tbh LOL.
ANYWAY character time: cameron cox: OKAYY SHE WAS CUTE!!! for some reason, i can't imagine her as a blonde i keep thinking she's a brunette but ANYWAY, i related to her and enjoyed her lots. careerwise, we're sorta doing the same thing (at least, that's my plan) and she was nice. i wish she had just told brady that alister already talked to her abt his feelings bcz then there wouldn't have been that dumb and unnecessary miscommunication in the last 15% of the book. BUT she was still a pre decent character and NGL she made alister kinda likeable at times. i'd be like "GIRL MOVE ON" but at the same time, there were moments where i understood why she couldn't yk? anyway i like her overall.
brady lancaster: he's cool too!! again, still pre 50/50 abt him bcz although, he was a gentleman and sweet for the most part:
“Well, you’re forgiven, and thank you. I’ll Apple Pay the money over later.” “I’ll just send it right back.” (it's the bare minimum but still sweet - he also took care of cameron a lot AND was very protective of her too).
he did say some gross, lusty things that were hard for me to read. like it actually made me uncomfortable. but other than that he was still a rly funny character and good to cameron.
them as a romance: friends to lovers and slow burn? SIGN ME UPPPPPPP!!!!! it was actually done rly well for the most part tbh. it could've been worse. but yeah, these two defs work well together the most imo they're very similar and have been friends for the longest time. they're both party animals and for the most part are rly good to their friends. they just work well imo and i'm glad they ended up together bcz tbh i can't imagine them with anyone else. also him remembering her order since middle school?? OKAY BRADYYY 🤭🤭 yeahh they were cute!!!!!
other characters: alister: yeahhhh no. cameron was too nice to him (AGAIN someone rly should've suggested getting a restraining order). i feel bad for him when it comes to allana and him not having family but he still needed to BACK OFF and he did cameron so dirty too. he just gave her a hard time and it annoyed me.
the others: chill. ARI AND NOAH.........are they engaged??? OU I HAVE A PREDICTION: in chase's book, they're gonna get engaged and chase gonna CRASH OUT!!!! speaking of him, he defs got feelings for paige and SMTHN is going on with them (they're endgame - it's obvious and i got spoiled) but idk what the tea is!! ALSO smthn is up with chase's mom (i'm assuming she's sick).
ANYWAYYYYY gonna start chase's book today!! pray for me ya'll i hate him HAHA 😭😭
quotes: For those whose choices remain their own secret. Never let the world push your off course. Your patience will pay off in time. I’M TELLING YA’LL SMTHN ABT THE AUTHOR’S DEDICATION PAGES!!! they give me hope.
“Well, you’re forgiven, and thank you. I’ll Apple Pay the money over later.” “I’ll just send it right back.” PERIOD.
God, I’m so messed up. I hate that you can’t just turn off feelings. Life would be so much easier if you could. real.
A virgin at twenty years old. By choice, obviously, but what does that matter? AIN’T NO FAWKING WAY. biggest plotwist in the book tbh.
“I have waited to sleep with someone because I need to be able to trust that person with everything I have, Cameron. I refuse to risk the chance that any child of mine could possibly lose a parent from choice. If I were sleeping around, I’d have no way of knowing if someone out there ended up pregnant and either couldn’t find me to tell me or simply decided not to. I know that sounds crazy. I’m young as hell and maybe this isn’t something that should have even crossed my mind yet. And I just said I lost nothing with Ben as my father. It’s true that I have everything I could ever need in my parents, but I also know that not everyone has someone else come along who can give as freely and wholeheartedly as my dad has. But it’s not only that, and maybe this is the craziest part.”
pre-review: EHHHHHHH mixed feelings abt this one so it's getting 3 stars. best one out of the entire boys of avix series tho so far (not better than defenseless hearts from fumbled futures tho imo).
pre-read: OKAYYY HEAR ME OUTTTT!!!!!!! these books haven't been great BUT i'm actually excited for this one!!! cameron and brady's story is gonna EAT (it better)!!!! 💜💜
this was a cute little palate cleanser, but i don’t know. this was one of my most anticipated reads because i love the boys of avix, but it just felt like something was missing? i wasn’t really giddy at any point, and it’s left me feeling… unsure what, really. confused? indifferent? i probably won’t be stuck on it or raving about it, but it wasn’t entirely a bust.
. ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁ ⟡ ݁ . ⊹ ₊ ݁.
⤷ brady is as precious as ever. it was nice to dive in and learn more about him, his upbringing and the secrets he held onto. i’m a sucker for a big ole goof, the life of the party, always making others comfortable and happy.
cam, my girl. hellcat. she’s so much fun, the sass she possesses. i think she’s quite relatable, and it was nice to see a different side to her. learn more about her vulnerabilities and the things she’s gone through.
brady and cam are adorable. i love a cute friends to lovers trope, but i don’t know.. something about it just still feels off to me? perhaps, it’s the whole love triangle thing and me finding myself rooting for alister in some parts. this is the problem with love triangles - i don’t know who to root for in the end and feel sad for the party not winning, since part of me wanted them to.
meagan, please give a rest with the love triangles. i was not rooting for chase whatsoever in say you swear… alister, he’s just different. he deserves a happy ending too. sorry, not sorry.
overall, this was cute. your typical friends to lovers trope, good vibes, perfect for summer.
This book had all the tropes I usually enjoy but each one was disappointing in here: the love triangle felt weird and FMC was awful in it, fake dating also seemed misplaced and kind of unnecessary, the friends to lovers trope has all the parts that I actually hate about it - all the drawn-out doubts and self-beating which is simply plain awkward and is irritating and boring for me. And the cherry on top for all third-act break-ups, even if a fake one in this case - miscommunication. Well, I did want to like the book but couldn’t wait to finish it and move on.
I think the main reason why I did not like this book is that I couldn’t, and wouldn’t, put myself in FMC’s shoes which I usually do with no problem. I read the book as a bystander because I did not like Cameron. She was so frustrating, she pissed me off for the entire book. I get it, you got hurt but why the hell you are stringing along this poor Alister, even after forgiving him and becoming friends, is beyond me. Constant denial of obvious things were just infuriating. She’s such a bitch towards Alister sometimes on how she treats his feelings, I can’t. For instance, looking at him, thinking about all these feelings for him, giving him hope and the next moment turning to Brady and doing some not so friendly shit. What’s up with that? It gave me whiplash. I didn’t understand her actions and intentions so it was difficult to enjoy it.
Despite Brady being a sweetheart, all I could think about was poor Alister during Brady and Cameron’s scenes. I sense love triangles may be not my thing after all. And I enjoy fake dating trope but here I don’t think it was done to my liking. The ending is kind of sweet and quite expected but I still feel like there was no proper closure for all parties involved.
And this is the first book in the series where I started thinking that this type of friendship is over the top and a little unhealthy. And there are way too many people in the picture, I sometimes needed to pause and think who is this or that person given that I read previous books a while back 😅.
I feel like Chase’s book will be a good one though. It’s usually the redemption arc for the misunderstood character that does it for me in the most unexpected way. We’ll see.

4.25 ⭐️ I liked this way better than the last book in the series but not nearly as much as the first one! I really like Cam and i actually really liked Alister but Brady was just such a DUDE. The “plot twist” in the end was just cringe but overall the book was so easy and just what I needed!
Brady is way too cringe for me to root for. Something about golden retriever men in books pisses me the fuck off. Why can it never be done right? Why do they have to be goofing out and shimmying around? Why do they never have any actual game? Guys can be happy and funny and still have something about them. The two aren’t mutually exclusive.
The only flirty lines he had were about having sex with her. In his chapters, he actually sexualised her to the point where I really didn’t like his train of thought at all at times. He told me how much he wanted to sleep with her til he was blue in the face and I still could not feel the tension. SHOW DONT TELL.
“Cammie, baby” I guess Megan Brady is a big fan of the summer I turned pretty. Maybe she was trying to replicate it so much, she forgot she was writing about college kids not teenagers. I’ve read high school books with more mature characters and storylines.
Their friendship is weird asf and I found it hard to like them together because of that. If any author needed an example of how not to write friendship and the found family trope, look no further. The interactions were ridiculous and unrealistic. Why was she always hanging off him? These are grown ass people.
Also, why do some authors feel the need to make older character and parents drop sexual inuendos every other sentence? I don’t want to read about someone joking about sex with their mum/dad/someone named granny grace! Again unrealistic, unnecessary and stupid.
The fact they were so callous about Alistair’s feelings too, it pissed me off. Like did she always have to be kissing and flirting with Brady right in front of him after they would have a moment? She knew she was leading him on and hurting his feelings and continued to do it anyway! What a shitty FMC.
Alistair and Cameron had way more chemistry. Their story would have been way more interesting if we just had a grovel/yearn book. It’s clear here she wanted us to like Brady more than Alistair despite giving him little moments that were cute. And it just pissed me off. Alistair had the foundations to be a great MMC. We could see he was a really good fucking guy deep down and I constantly felt sorry for him.
Justice for the character Alistair could have been and the story they could have had.
I know I know, I'm in the minority here but I'm sorry to say this one just wasn't for me.
Say you Swear set such a high bar at the start of this series that it was always going to be really difficult to match that standard or improve even more. The two follow up books just fell flat for me.
I normally have no problem with fake fating or love triangle tropes but the difference for me is that we have a POV for all 3 characters involved in this story.
The danger here is that you see the thoughts and feelings of all 3 characters and how their actions affect one another. Because of the love triangle trope, this can cause a reader to dislike your central character. Which is exactly what happened where Cameron was concerned for me.
I really didn't like Cameron because as the book progressed, you understood her thoughts and feelings, and then she did the complete opposite in her actions, which just frustrated the hell out of me.
I only started to enjoy it a bit more in the last 30% because the 3rd POV was removed. Therefore, the focus was moved to our final two characters. This worked much better for me personally as we didn't have the constant reminder of how the other individual was feeling.
I liked the relationships between Cameron and her friends and family. She may have been a bit too open at times lol but it was entertaining to read.
The little bit of spice we did get was great, particularly at the end. This series does go for the slower burn with high emotional impact which I am absolutely fine with overall.
In the end, it wasn't enough for me to root for Cameron, the damage had already been done. But I am pleased to see other readers enjoyed this story and had a good time.
I love the majority of Meagan's books and will continue to read more of them. The structure for me this around just didn't work for a love triangle.
While this was a good read, and I did like it, I didn’t love it. I’m probably sitting on a 3.5 ⭐️
“𝙏𝙧𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙢𝙚?” “𝘼𝙡𝙬𝙖𝙮𝙨.”
I could unpack so much, but spoilers ya know? So I can’t 😂 at times I felt like this was a little choppy AND it could have had so much more potential with the fake dating trope. In true Meagan fashion though, she had me wondering who the FMC would actually end up with AND THEN the little plot twist towards the end 👀 I had a feeling it was coming but still, SHOOK!
Anyway, Noah is still my guy, along with Mason.
And dare I say, I’m actually ready for Chase’s redemption? Meagan left a lot of crumbs in this one and I’m kinda excited if it’s what I think it is 🤭
TRUST ME ALWAYS ● Cameron ● Brady: childhood best friend ● Alistar: ex-boyfriend ● college romance ● Alistar is trying to win her back ● Brady fakes dates Cameron to try to make her ex leave her alone ● sports romance ● friends to lovers ● fake dating ● 3 POVs ● love triangle-ish
Oh this book. Some part of me has been waiting for Cam’s book this entire time and it was everything I wanted and everything I didn’t know I wanted. I’ve been feeling a book slump but this has cured me and reset my reading brain. I loved every moment of this book. Meagan Brandy put something in her books that makes me immediately attached to the characters and desperate for more. Trust Me Always cured me of my reading slump and immediately put me back into one.
Read this if you’re in the mood for… - love triangle - friends to lovers - fake dating - second chance - football - friend group
I’m not typically a fan of a love triangle but this one….it hit and it made sense. What made this work and so unique to their story was that there was no miscommunication. Everyone was fully aware of the betrayal, the hurt, the healing and they were trying to see if it could be fixed but completely understood that there was a chance that it wouldn’t. It hurt to read because you could feel the desperation and guilt and only Meagan Brandy could give a redemption arc where we want the best for both of them.
Here are a few of my favorite things… - the nicknames and the history between them - the communication and honesty was so refreshing - the inner dialogue when feelings hit - seeing Noah and Ari! I’m desperate for more of them - glimpses into the next book…
I've read a lot of Meagan Brandy's books and usually love them, but this one just didn’t do it for me. especially coming after Say You Swear, which is one of my all-time favorites, this felt like a major step down.
her writing is still as engaging as ever, and that’s what kept me turning the pages. but the biggest issue for me was Payton. I couldn’t connect with her at all, and I really struggled to see why Mason was so drawn to her.
she is young, so some of her avoidance could be chalked up to pure immaturity, but it dragged on for way too long. while Mason was trying to figure out what the heck was going on, Payton would basically run every time he entered the room. I get that she's been through a lot and is trying to heal, but she’s also a mom now—and the way she kept stringing Mason along on her emotional roller coaster was just frustrating. her refusal to open up or even have a conversation with him got really exhausting.
the story was all angst, slow burn. and the “good” parts only happened for a few chapters at the end after a loooooong and lacklustre slow burn, which felt really rushed and underwhelming after everything that had been built up.
what saved the book for me was Mason and baby Deaton. Mason was a genuinely great guy, and his bond with Deaton melted my heart. I also loved the family dynamic—their group is super close and always shows up for each other, which I appreciated.
it honestly hurts to rate Mason’s book so low, but I’m giving it 2 stars purely because of him and Deaton. I’m still planning to read Cameron’s book eventually—hoping it will be way better 🤞🏻
#Review: *Trust Me Always* - Meagan Brandy [16+] 4.9/5✨ 2/5🌶️
I had to read this 3rd book from Boys Of Avix series! I loved the previous two and I instantly bought this one when it was released but didn't had the time I wanted to get to read it too.
Cameron Cox was in a really awkward situation with her ex boyfriend, Alister Howl, for which she still had mixed feelings. He was pretty insistent in conquer her back, being present in almost every place she was at. But Cameron needed some space from him after she did her very wrong and her best friend, football player, Brandy Lancaster, came up with the best solution for her problem. He told Alister that Cameron was now his girlfriend. Only that won't convince Alister to back down and he still continued with his quest. Will Cameron forgive him or will she be able to move on from him?
Honestly, the first quarter of this book kind of made me throw this one around the room! I hated how Cameron was thinking or, more precisely, not thinking at all. She was such a mess, but thankfully this has changed throughout the book and I was more at peace with everything. Besides that fist part, I loved everything about this story! It was sooo darn sweet and sooo swoony. I adored the cute friendship between Cameron and Brandy, who have known each other for literally a lifetime. I screamed at some scenes, not liking what was happening but I knew for what I rooted. But did my wishes come true? Maybe yes, maybe not🤭. I'm not gonna spoil it for you. I'm saying that you need to bare through the first part, if you feel like I did, because the rest of the book was simply wonderful! And the hidden secrets have surprised me in the best way possible!!🥰
Another book by Meagan which I fell in love with. I adored these characters and how much cuteness was between them! I couldn't stop from reading, especially in the second half of this book, which simply captivated me all the way! I hope you'll love it as much as I am 🫶🏼.
CON TODO EL DOLOR DEL MUNDO, DEBO DECIR QUE ESTE LIBRO ES LA DECEPCION MAS GRANDE DEL AÑO PARA MI!! 2.5 estrellas y solo porque amo a los personajes secundarios.. Y amo demasiado a Brady.
Cameron was funny in this one! And this had me confused at first but it is worth the continued state of wtf I was in. These two are actually quite perfect for each other!
