Red Phoenix has delivered yet again, solidifying my respect for the world of true BDSM, just as she did with her "Brie" series. The characters, storyline, and settings are captivating, drawing me in completely. Sophie is a plus-size woman—not just a size 2, but a real curvy woman. She grapples with body image issues and fears, just like many of us. Red Phoenix strikes at the core message: we are all sexy and alluring, regardless of our shape, size, or skin color. Everyone deserves to be cared for, respected, and treated kindly. Remember, looks are only skin deep, and messages like this are unfortunately rare.
Reconnecting with old characters who feel like long-standing friends in this new spin-off was a delight. The intimate scenes are tastefully done and perfectly balanced. I am eager to learn more about the other sub trainees, particularly given the class's mix of genders. The new Doms are equally intriguing.
Red Phoenix boldly returns to the Submissive Training Center (STC) with a fresh location in New York, introducing new students like Sophie Lark, along with exciting adventures and some drama. Great! Must read!
Teasing Flames had me pulled in from the beginning. I cannot wait to see where Sophie’s journey goes and who she meets along the way. This book gives you a different view into the BDSM world. If you liked this, I also recommend the Brie Series. Red has a way with words. I am glad to be a part of her ARC team.

In this book we are reacquainted with several old friend’s from Brie’s books, and learn where life took them. We meet some new friends, Sophie Lane our main character and her bff Gwen, as well as others.
Gwen invited Sophie to a grand opening/ NYE party at a very high end hotel and restaurant ‘The Luxe Escape.’ Gwen is an off Broadway actress trying to make a name for herself but whose family has money. Sophie is a piano teacher to rich families but by no means is rich. Gwen asks Sophie to go shopping with her for a dress for the event and talks her into trying one on. Later a big box was delivered to Sophie but Sophie refuses to open it thinking it was from her boyfriend who broke their NYE plans, until Gwen called her and told her to open the box which held the beautiful dress Sophie had tried on- as well as accessories.
While at the party, Mister Wallace tracked Sophie down because she had received an important call, escorted her down to the desk to return the call- waiting for her. She made the call and found out her boyfriend was in an automobile accident, she stated she was going to the hospital so he escorted her to the limo that she arrived in and handed her his card saying to call him if she needed anything.
A couple of days later she had car trouble in the area of the hotel and walked there to get warm and a bite to eat while waiting for a tow truck. That night didn’t go as planned but a man she met told her to call Mr Wallace.
If you have read Brie’ submission books you will recognize names in this story and enjoy meeting these new characters. I am so happy to have received this ARC and enjoyed seeing Brie and her friends again. I am also excited to see where these books take us and how these new characters react to the classes.

Spoiled by her first
I've read Brie's first BDSM series and was entranced by the experience of her adventures and journey. A bit disappointed with this effort. Seemed repetitive of her first series . Not sure I will read the next.

I was given this book by the author for an honest review.
I am so excited to see Red has written another Training Center book. I am even more excited to see a NEW Cast of characters while also briefly seeing our old favorites to open the center.
This story is about a recruit, Soph, who was brought as a Plus 1 to a fancy party by her bestie Gwen. They are thick as thieves and are having a great time. Soph who is the normal wallflower found so confidence with her sexy appearance and having a few hotties flirting helped her out.
When she makes some changes in her life, she meets a man from the party who gives her a card to call Todd Wallace…..ya know the WOLF from the old series!!! Any who, she decided she was making new changes and embraced this chance to learn about submission from Dominants. Of Course, she got a boast of support from BRIE but we learn the new training center is going to be the same BUT EVEN MORE EXCITING!!! WHAT!! I KNOW!!
Soph meets a few friends in the new class. She also makes an enemy…darn jerks. But she starts to learn that submission is a calling she never knew was in her heart.
I am so excited because I see so many different scenes with so many different Doms soon and I am buzzing with anticipation!!! This book was the PERECT kick off to the new series. We are left hanging on a cliffhanger and I can’t wait to see what happens right before the first auction!! GASP!

I was so excited to hear we were getting another series about the STC and to be set in NY, so exciting.

When I read Brie’s Submission years ago, I was taken back by how little I knew about the BDSM life style, and reading Sophie’s story in Teasing Flames it brought back all the nostalgia of Brie’s story. How each character learns about themselves, how confidence is built and how our own perceptions of people can be so off base.
I encourage anyone to read these lovely stories about self discovery but also how trust and submission mean so much more than we think.
RP really captures the vulnerability of each character, not just in Sophie but also her bff Gwen who is in her own self discovery in her career.
So looking forward to the rest of the NY STC stories and I loved the cameos of Brie and Sir, as well as Mr. Wallace, of course others from the LA center who I saw in the background. Curious to who the Chef is at the Black Drakon but I have a sneaking suspicion 😉
If you have not read Brie’s Submission, I encourage you to, it’s 3 books, although the LA STC series is several books (24+), the first 3 will get you interested so you can add the rest to your TBR.

Another great series from this great author
As a devoted fan of Red Phoenix, I was eagerly anticipating the release of her new series, and I can confidently say it did not disappoint. From the very first page, I was drawn into a captivating world filled with rich characters and intricate plots (sexy scenes) that kept me engaged until the very end.
One of the highlights of this book was the seamless introduction of new characters. While they are fresh faces in this series, the subtle nods to beloved characters from her previous works felt like a warm embrace, making me feel right at home. It’s a testament to Red’s skill as a storyteller that she can weave familiar elements into new narratives without losing the essence of what makes her writing so special.
The emotional journey of the characters was beautifully crafted, and I found myself invested in their lives and struggles. When I reached the last page, I was completely surprised that it had ended and wanting more.
I am already counting down the days until the next book is released. If this book is any indication, i know I will love it as much as her Brie series.
I highly recommend this new series to both long-time fans and newcomers alike. It’s a journey worth taking, and I can’t wait to see where Red takes us next.

Let me start by say I so love reading books by Red Phoenix. Teasing Flames is one amazing start to her new series. This book deals with the new submissive training center that is run by Mr Wallace. We start out this books with Sophia a shy woman who is dating Noah. When her best friend Gwen scores an invitation to the new Luxe Escape, she invites Sophia to be her plus one on New Years Eve. Noah has other plans but when Noah backs out Sophia decides to go with Gwen. When they arrive Gwen mingles while Sophia observes the crowd. While wondering she meets a man that owns the piano she is admiring as shes a piano teacher. When he hands her a card that just might change her life. When she learns of Noah's betrayal later in the evening. She knows what shes going to do. Shes going to check out the classes. This book lord I love the training centers and all the characters. I love seeing the familiar faces from Bries Series intertwined with the new ones from the Luxe Series. This book does leaving you wanting more and I can not wait for the more. Thank you Red for another AMAZING new series.

Another home run from Red Phoenix. As usual, her characters are so well written and so relatable. They are people you want to be friends with.

Scorching! 🔥
This book is definitely teasing alright! The world of Lux is so erotic and enticing, I can't wait to dive in further. Sophie is a beautiful written character and very relatable. I love seeing her growth throughout the book and her come into her own. Gwen is our legendary extroverted friend who is a badass in her own right and I hope we get to see more of her in the future too.
While I haven't read the entirety of The Brie Collection, I was able to recognize some of the cameos and it made me want to go back to that series and finish where I left off. I love when an author weaves in characters from their other series into books. 🥰
Such a unique and beautiful approach to the BDSM storytelling and I love every bit of it. Red allows you to see and learn the other sides of the lifestyle that are often missed through books but still important. I enjoy these books and her writing on so many levels and can't wait for the next book to come out! Highly recommend you check it out - ESPECIALLY if BDSM, submission training/ lessons, a great plot and spice balance, and series reading is your thing!

Sophie Lane is a quiet young woman, teaches piano lessons, is more of a wallflower than an extrovert like her BFF, Gwen. Gwen is an understudy for the main lead in a off broadway play, but, the main lead gets sick and Gwen has to step up. Sophie sees how much her friend Gwen puts herself out there.
Sophie decides to take a leap and join the next group of a freshman class at a Submissive Training Center. Sophie isn't sure what to expect, she met up and spoke with Brie -- from The Brie Series, who encouraged her to apply and to take the course. Sophie is a bit on the heavier side, and she isn't sure if the Submissive training is a good fit for someone of her size, someone like her. She has a lot of self doubt. But, she does like the training lessons she's received after the frist two weeks. Sophie has had a string of bad luck recently and she's hoping that with being in the Submissive Training course she will be able to turn a corner with her life.

We're going to be taking a exciting new session at the New Exclusive Submissive Training Center. We're meeting brand new characters and even seeing some old friends along the way.
After finding her Boyfriend hasn't been faithful Sophie is devastated. Her best friend is there for her and ready to show her a great time by taking her to an Exclusive New Years Eve party and the New Exclusive Luxe Escape. There's more than what meets the eye there though.
Sophie Lane is ready to explore her own interests and find her true limits. Once she finds out what is in the luxurious new Hotel that isn't broadcast to the entire public she's on a mission to find herself and push her boundaries.
Red has given us an amazing beginning to a new series. Her art of writing is a pleasure to become enthralled in. She gives us everything we could want in Teasing Flames and I can't wait to see what she gives us in the next installment.

what one will find there! If you read this authors Brie series you will probably love being in on the beginning of the journey at the new east coast city, where the action never stops! Lights, cameras and a red carpet introduce readers to Sophie Lane a piano teacher who thanks to her friend Gwen gets to walk the red carpet and find out what all the excitment is about.
Author Red Phoenix has brought back some old friends and introduces us to new friends as well. That in itself was one of the reasons I picked this up to read. I love the new story line, I love that I feel I’m on first name terms with the Head Master, Mr. Wallace or Falen. This looks like I’m going to be picking up each new book in this series.
Life of the east coast is different than life in L.A. I can’t wait to find out how Sophie’s life changes as she goes through the training time.

A new adventure takes Sophia Lane on an adventure that can maybe only happen once in a lifetime! Sophie’s character is that of a wallflower struggling with life and self confidence. Her best friend, Gwen, is her complete opposite but they work well together helping each other be better. Gwen has tickets for an exclusive party, masked ball adding to the intrigue. I loved the way characters from The Brie books start to weave through this new series and don’t detract from Sophie’s story.
As the story unfolds I’m sure Sophie will change as she learns and discovers her self worth and her inner beauty as well as her inner strength under the tutelage of Mr Wallace et al.
The book holds strong connections as readers can relate to Sophie and understand the struggles that she has in trying to fit into what is perceived as normal. Great story of self
Discovery, not to mention delicious insights to the new Lux Escape.
Brilliant read and will excitedly have to wait for the next!
As the story unfolds I’m sure Sophie will change as she learns and discovers her self worth and her inner beauty as well as her inner strength under the tutelage of Mr Wallace et al.
The book holds strong connections as readers can relate to Sophie and understand the struggles that she has in trying to fit into what is perceived as normal. Great story of self

I loved the Bree Submission series and the STC and I'm excited to see another young woman enter the STC and her journey. Sophie Lane and her best friend Gwen has an invite only New Year's Eve party at the exclusive Lux Escape. Her boyfriend disappoints her again and she goes to the Lux Escape masquerade party. Sophie is a piano teacher whose life is about to change. I love how she grows in confidence with each session, she begins to see herself as everyone does and her life starts to change. Gwen is an aspiring Broadway actress who's full of life and encourages Sophie to live a little, be adventurous. I love that we see a few of the characters from Bree's series Todd Wallace and Anton my favorite Russian. I can't wait to see where this story takes us it's going to quit the adventure for Sophie and best friend Gwen. I have voluntarily read and reviewed this story.

From the very first few lines of this story I was hooked. Sophie is a darling character, she's a piano teacher and loves teaching the kids. Her best friend invites her to an exclusive NYE party at the high end Luxe Escape. I love that everyone attending is wearing masks and I love how she gives nicknames to some of the people there. Wait until you read the list of characters she runs into. So fun!!
I enjoyed every single word in this new story and I'm so proud of one of my favorite authors, Red Phoenix, for choosing to bring this new generation to life for us. I already love Sophie and can't wait
to read more about her progression into submission. Her first lessons were very eye opening and I
know it's going to be so hard waiting for the next book, but I also know that the wait will be worth it.

A huge fan of Red Phoenix and the Bries submission series I was excited for the announcement of this new series and this the first book in it did not disappoint seeing a few old familiar faces in this first book of the series felt a bit like coming home to family while embracing new locations and characters and a main character with flaws and insecurities that so many women and readers can relate to and connect with. As Sophie begins to understand that there is power, respect and acceptance in the act of submission as she begins her journey at the Submissive Training Center of New York. I didn’t want to put this book down because even with its new characters and setting it still felt comforting and familiar just like I first read the Bries submission series and found something I didn’t know I was missing.

The Submissive Training Center is back!
I had to look back and see when I read the first books of the Brie series. Wow -- that was quite a while ago.
Anyways, the new version of the STC is absolutely over-the-top. Don't even worry about the plausibility of either the STC or the training or the hotel -- none of it is plausible. So let it go and enjoy the ride.
Sophie is a delight -- her problems with self-confidence are clearly going to be a theme. She already has locked into one Dom to be *her* Dom and we will see how that works out.
One concern I have is that the increased number of students will make it a bit difficult to get to know each one (as we could with the four subs in the initial book). The addition of male subs is refreshing, and perhaps shows some societal/genre changes over the last decade.
I eagerly await the next book.

The author has returned to her roots while giving us a whole new series with brand new characters. After her boyfriend betrayed her, Sophia Lane decides to do something she'd never do. A perpetual wallflower, she accepts an invitation and enters a whole new world. I'm keeping things deliberately vague as to not give away any spoilers or pop up visiting from familiar characters. Suffice to say, the author has a particular voice and I've fallen in love with the brand new story that has such a "coming home" feeling. The story sets up the series and definitely leaves us panting for the next installment. I'm looking forward to as many stories from this new series that I can get my hands on . Brava Red Phoenix, you have made my day.

I'm beyond excited for Red Phoenix; as being a long time fan and reader of Red Phoenix and I first want to thank her for giving me the opportunity to ARC Read Teasing Flames. I'm very excited for the new fans to experience a new Chapter, characters as they begin their journey in the world of submission. I do suggest to make sure you set aside time to read, for you won't want to put the book down. I started it before I went to bed and was up until 3 am and sat in shock when I turned the last page and said Nooo I want one more chapter lol. I fell in love with Sophie Lane and her bestie Gwen immediately and it was Gwens invitation to and Exclusive New Years Eve party held at the Luxe Escape that opens up an amazing opportunity to Sophie; a path of awakening. I'm excited for long time reader/fans to find all the Easter Eggs hidden in plain sight and for the new Readers to be introduced the couple that started it all. It's going to be a long summer waiting for the next book. Ive already read Teasing Flames twice.......Thank you Red Phoenix

New faces, new location, familiar world. I enjoyed reading this new book. From getting to “meet” Sophie, the new main character, to her meeting some of the past favorites. All she needed was a push to start classes at the STC and the support of her best friend, Gwen. Teasing Flames: Luxe Escape is exactly what I needed to read. The spicy moments I felt were perfect. Certain parts had me in my feelings, which is what makes this a good book that I 100% recommend. I’m not going to ruin it by giving away details. Trust the process and take a dive into this book!

I was positively giddy about getting to read Teasing Flames; and boy I wasn’t disappointed. I didn’t realize how much I truly missed the STC. I love that this Submissive Training Center is in a wonderful new city, in a swanky hotel that is fitting a next level luxurious center. I also can’t think of a better Headmaster than Red’s choice; and I look forward to seeing what this Headmaster has learned himself. I already love Sophie and her bestie!! I can’t wait for the next book!! The one problem I see with this book is it was over long before I was ready for it to be. I think I’ll read it again!!!

Other reviews give a summary of the book so I can skip that. The first few pages were very descriptive! For a moment I wasn’t sure if I would enjoy the entire book. However, the first actual chapter changed my mind and pulled me right in to the story. I enjoyed meeting and getting to know Sophie and her best friend, Gwen, and the other STC students. It was fun to catch up with some of our friends from the STC. Overall, I’ve very much enjoyed the book. It reminded me of the Brie series only different. The one thing I was disappointed in was that I didn’t have access to the next part of Sophie’s journey right now!

As a fan of Red Phoenix as I read this I felt like a whole new world with a bit of coming home thrown in. I loved getting back to the training center in a whole new city, amazing how a new city can really change things up. I feel in love with Sophie and her bestie Gwen and was almost giddy with old friends thrown into the mix. Old time readers of Red Phoenix will appreciate the cameo's by some much loved Brie series characters, and new readers will be in for the treat of their life - An adventure that will not only thrill you but make you feel every emotion known to man. It will keep you guessing and instill a flame in your very soul that will only grow with each book in the series.

As soon as I saw this I had to read it. Let me tell you I devoured it so quick I couldn’t put it down. I’m obsessed with Brie’s series. Let me tell you it didn’t disappoint. I’m glad we get to see some old face making an appearance. We meet Sophie she’s a piano teacher. Her best friend invites her to a grand opening/ NYE party at a very high end hotel and restaurant 'The Luxe Escape! After some turning of events she meet Mr. Wallace the Headmaster of The Submissive Training Center. She soon applies to the Training Center and things get interesting as we follow Sophie’s journey. I can’t wait to see what happens next.
