I loved having this book read to me while in primary school. Teacher had an old version where pages were falling out but there was silence as she read..my imagination soaked up all the lands and adventures/characters. A 'CLASSIC

I clearly missed something by not having this book read to me/reading it when I was a child.
As an adult there was clearly a loss of translation for me as I can see what positive emotion it spark/ed in others.

the magic faraway tree is a really good story of three children called Jo,Bessie and Fanny. the three children and their friends. There is Dame Washalot,the Angry pixie, Moon face, the saucepan man,Silky,the three owls and mister whatzhisname. it was a pleasure to read and i hope other people enjoy it to.
