Cruise Director Millie Mystery Series is the new spin-off series from the wildly popular Millie’s Cruise Ship Cozy Mysteries by Author Hope Callaghan.

Recipe Included!
After a busy season cruising the icy waters of Alaska, the Siren of the Seas returns to its tropical homeport in sunny Miami. Group bookings are at an all-time high, and cruise director Millie Armati barely has time to catch her breath before the next wave of passengers board the ship.
Among them is a boisterous bunch of competitive eaters known as the Belly Busters, famous for traveling coast to coast devouring everything from chili to cheesecake in high-stakes food showdowns. But behind bottomless appetites and dynamic personalities, tensions simmer—especially toward the three contestants who always seem to come out on top.
When the group books a private excursion aboard a floating tiki bar, Millie reluctantly agrees to help coordinate the event. But as she watches the hut drift from shore, an ominous feeling creeps in...and her worst fears are realized when the tiki hut returns to shore—minus one passenger.
The death, a drowning, is quickly ruled an accident, but whispers of foul play ripple through the decks. Determined not to let a potential killer slip away, Millie dives into the mystery—and discovers not everything is as it seems.
Can our cruise ship sleuth expose the truth and dish out justice before the Belly Busters disembark? Or will a contestant with an appetite for murder get away scot-free, leaving Millie hungry for answers?

Hope Callaghan is an excellent story teller! As usual Millie's Cruise Ship series is a wonderful blend of mystery, friendship, humor and love.
In the Tiki Hut Tragedy, Millie and friends welcome past elite passengers, first time cruisers and the competitors of the Belly Buster group. The Belly Buster's is a group of women contestants in a food-eating competition. A lot was up for grabs with these ladies, they took the word competitors to a new high and argued continuously with each other. It was not a surprise when during a stop at one of the islands, with the boisterous ladies on a Tiki Hut excursion an accident happens. Millie who was also off ship and saw the tragedy happen was not sure it was an accident. With the help of many of her ship mates working friends, they work together to help Millie catch the killer. Tiki Hut Tragedy is filled with mystery, mayhem, friendship, humor and love. As usual with a Hope Callaghan story, I couldn't put down the book and read straight through. This was an amazing book, like all of Hope's series, I have read every book she has written. If you want a wonderful cozy read, you need to scoop this one up!!
Looking for a comical page turning mystery? Then Sail the Seas with Siren of the Seas, Millie and friends and watch the mayhem with boisterous competitive foodie contestants and frenemies - the Belly Busters unfold. Yes, their names are descriptive and their childish antics worse - Dixie the Destroyer, Wendy or Wolf, and Hannah the Heavyweight. Hope Callaghan is a gifted succinct mystery writer. The reader is immediately drawn into the drama, sorting through red herrings and foreshadowing, and predicting the resolution. As a Michigander retired educator, I learned about cruising near the Bahamas, plus the ins and outs of food eating competitions. Recipe for Annette’s Gourmet Lobster Roll included.
Millie has an interesting group of ladies on board for this cruise - the Belly Busters, a group who compete to see who can eat the most! They’re a unique group and fun to watch until one of them dies! The death is ruled an accident, but Millie has other ideas and decides to investigate further. There’s stomach relaxing pills, events to practice stretching their stomachs, and more. Can Millie figure out who killed the reigning winner before they dock in Miami, where the actual contest takes place? I received a free advance copy of this book and write this review voluntarily.
Another fun adventure with Millie and the gang. The ship has repositioned back to the Caribbean from Alaska (the setting for the last couple books) and the cruise has a group of demanding competitive eaters on board. After a tiki hut bar cruise excursion, there is one fewer in the group. The defending champion is dead after an incident on the excursion; was it a tragic accident, or murder?
There is a malfunction with the ships propulsion which is a cliff hanger. In addition, we get a tease that the next book with be a cross-over with the Garden Girls series, sure to be a fun read.
As much as In enjoy cruising I think if I ever see a tiki hut excursion on the list I will avoid it. This book was written in a way that was very interesting & intriguing. Quite the mystery to solve. The characters all come together to create a unique experience that makes you want to keep reading and learning how to solve the mystery. Very well written!
Millie and her friends on the crew find the death of a passenger suspicious and can't let it go. Ms. Callaghan spins her tale of a curious woman with talented friends who try to fly under the radar while piecing facts together. I enjoyed the tale and recommend it for a fun relaxing read.
I really enjoyed this one another great read. I especially like to reading about the ports of call, I have been to the Grand Turk and the privately owned island. I have cruised the Caribbean many times and enjoyed every trip. I have already ordered your next book. Love all of them.
This was truly a lovely story. This was a who dunning mystery, or did someone actually do it. Millie likes to think so, at least. As always, this kept my interest throughout. Keep up the amazing work.
The Siren of the Sea, Millie and her crew are back in their warm waters. A group of competitive eaters keep things jumping on this cruise. Then there’s the drowning was it murder or not. One of the best Millie books.
It is always fit to join Millie and the crew for a cruise. I love reading about all the places they go and trying to figure out the mystery. I enjoyed this one and was not sure who the culprit was until the end.
Once again Miss Hope has done it!! Once you pick up this ook you'll read to the end! The characters come to life and the plot keeps you guessing! Can't wait for book 7!
This is a light fun book. I think Millie would have figured out about Astrid’s disguises much faster than what was portrayed in this book. Otherwise a light fun read.
Millie and her "detective" team have done it again. This was a tough one with the guilty party hiding behind a disguise. New crew members aboard ship add to the adventures. All in all a most enjoyable read. Thanks, Ms Callaghan!
Food eating contest competitors get more than they bargained for
When a food eating contest competitor ends up dead during a routine excursion, Millie and the gang need to figure out if it was an accident or something more sinister. Wonderful clean series with whodunits galore
An enjoyable mystery with Millie and her friends. We meet an interesting new characters and troubling technology. The plot, motives, and characters are easily understandable.
