I needed a good beach read and my friend recommended this book. I couldn't put it down! I was as pale as Millie (the main character) when I finished it because I literally sat in the shade the whole day tearing through the story. It's an easy, engaging read that is filled with fun and modern quips and jokes - when is the last time you read a book where the phrase "douche canoe" was used to describe someone?! The characters have heart and are very believable. I felt like Cate, Audrey and Rory were my best friends by the time I finished it, and for the record, I am solidly Team Drew!! Read it. You'll laugh and cry along with the characters. I can't wait for book two.

Solid 5 star beach read. The characters are believable and feel like they stepped right out of your bookclub. I think everyone can find themselves in one of these characters. The story is light and funny but also has enough plot and substance to draw you in to the characters and keep you wondering what will come next for them. Can’t wait for book 2!
