Don't miss the penultimate chapter of the Overlap saga!
Some inheritances are better left unclaimed.
When Becca Sparrow inherits an isolated estate deep in the forgotten town of Weedshurst, she, her husband Maks, and their twin daughters are eager to rebuild a quiet life. But their new home harbors secrets more sinister than its crumbling walls suggest--secrets tied to the horrors of t he Overlap and her own haunting past in Greater York City.
An ominous fridge hums with unnatural energy. Local townsfolk whisper of deals long kept and debts yet unpaid. And as Becca comes face to face with the horrors left behind by her estranged uncle's cryptic research, she discovers echoes of a breach in reality itself--one that threatens to tear apart not just her world, but the fragile balance of existence.
With echoes of history reverberating, the Overlap's hidden threads resurface, weaving Becca into the center of a cosmic horror far greater than she ever imagined. As she finds herself plunged into the terrors and mysteries of her uncle's past, Becca must overcome the fracturing boundaries between worlds, between lives, and between her own unravelling sanity.
A.T. Benson is a writer living in New York. When he is not meticulously mapping out the finer details of the Overlap multiverse, he spends his time with his beloved wife and child, creating video games as a founding designer at Muifwego, and singing songs out of tune. Benson is an avid popcorn enthusiast.
Hook line and sinker, A T Benson dragged me down to the deepest, darkest and most dangerous corners of the inter-dimensional multiverse he calls “The Overlap”
He has elevated his writing to an impressive level. Don’t get me wrong the first two books were good but “Breached” was great.
The characters were genuine everyday people put into an extraordinary situation! The dialogue and descriptions were solid ( no room for misinterpretation). The pace was like a rocket ship on rails, fast, crisp and unpredictable! CHAOTIC!!!
The familiarity with the main characters brings a sense of being there.
I have very little spare time so when I invest time into reading a book I either want to learn something I don’t know or more often want to feel like I experienced an adventure! This installment made me feel excited to find out want happens next. I enjoyed every page and look forward to the fourth installment!
This book could be read on its own and enjoyed but without the first two books it’s like peanut butter without the Jelly!
I thought I had a pretty good idea of what Benson's writing would consist of, but I was completely caught off guard when I read Breach and realized the range of this author. It was so unlike the first two books (which I loved) and I found myself legitimately on the edge of my seat while reading it. The first two books in the series, Overlap and Tangents, have a ton of compelling characters that take you on a bunch of journeys across different worlds, but this story was more linear and focused, which is easier for my brain to follow. If you like horror movies or books with a little bit of crazy thrown in there, you should definitely give this one a read. Loved loved loved.
