Reyna Santos is done playing safe. On the eve of her dream job with the Cascade Kodiaks, she wants one night of reckless pleasure—no expectations, no regrets. The cocky, tattooed stranger at the bar? Perfect. Especially since she’ll never see him again.
Until he walks into the locker room the next day.
Logan Beckett is trouble in a perfectly cut jersey—rough around the edges, nursing an injury, and very much the player she should be avoiding. But resisting him is impossible. The more Reyna tries to draw the line, the more Logan pushes back—reminding her exactly how good they are together off the ice.
The team has a strict no-fraternization policy. Her career is on the line.
But when the tension boils over, someone’s going to get benched—and it won’t be him.
If you love forbidden hookups, steamy tension, and hockey players who fall hard, this novella is your perfect pregame.
The Good: If you want mind-numbing, spine-tingling tension, chemistry, and longing, this is a good book for that.
The Bad: If you know it’s against the rules, and the head of your department knows you met before you started your new job, wouldn’t the adult thing to do could be going to your HR director and explaining you met before you both knew of the jobs ethical practice? Or, I don’t know, declaring that you're in a relationship? Or something? Seemed very teenager-esque to be sneaking around.

Reyna makes the mistake of hooking up with hockey player Logan who is her now client, he’s dealing w an injury and she’s following her dream job being the new PT for the team.
We don’t get love declarations or an HEA. We do get spice and drama. The risks they take make no sense. And why is the janitor pulling a night shift in an apartment building?
This left me unsatisfied, and the FMC looks like an idiot for risking her job.
