Thank you to Dr. Aron, Citadel Press and Kensington for a copy of The Highly Sensitive Person. I started reading it last night and finished this afternoon.
I specifically wanted to read The Highly Sensitive Person because I always wondered if I was an HSP. After reading this book and taking the tests inside, I think I am borderline HSP. I do have a friend who is definetly an HSP and this book not only helped me understand aspects of myself, but gave me a much clearer understanding of her. I plan on sharing my copy with her since she is aware of her sensitivity and I hope it will give her some better understanding.
I appreciated the test cases shared since I could relate to some of them. Although this does read as a textbook - as it should since it is teaching - the test cases added interest for me. Although I am not a twin, I did find it fascinating with Rob and Rebecca, the two fraternal twins' study. I also related to the HSP and Vocation. I think that made it clear to me I am borderline but not as sensitive as I thought.
Thank you for the book and for opening my eyes to others who struggle with sensitivity.
