I read this after attending the book launch for work, and was fascinated by how well the author spoke and broke down complex concepts and by how quickly he wrote this book (1 month?!)!!

the book itself was a breeze to read, and contains important context, history and suggestions on a path forward in a world where the country that has championed free trade in the last century are now claiming to be victims of that very system and how tariffs are being used a weapon of choice in pursuit of the MAGA agenda and how the rest of the world can choose to respond.

An easy read, especially considering the complexity of the topic. Baldwin is an eminent trade scholar who's published and taught on trade issues for 40+ years. He cuts through the blather while giving a clear, consistent view of the current moment on trade policy. He outlines possible strategies for all the major trade players moving forward. And as the title says, how the world moves on from Trump and his tariffs.

Good enough for the non–technical, disinterested, narrative–driven public.

Takes a scalpel to Trump Tariffs and exposes the folly behind the imposition of import duties to reshore the industries in the US.
