j’ai jamais mit une note aussi basse et je n’ai jamais mit autant de temps à lire un livre
je l’ai trouvé nul du début à la fin, magdalen et théo ont absolument 0 relations ?? genre juste il l’a trouvé belle et il veut se la faire. elle bon c’est le cliché de la meuf qui n’a jamais rien vécu et qui est love du frère de sa meilleure amie. tout était cliché enft c’était vrm boring
EN PLUS ils ont fait que de parler de cul et y’avait des scènes de smut toutes les 5 chapitres

What the hell with this book?
Both main characters are idiots.
I’m very confused on the timeline - he’s 5 years older than her. He left for school 7 years ago. It seems like he was interested in her before he left for school. So she was like what? 13?
He’s basically an asshole to her “to protect her” from his assholery. But he’s also in love with her so he’s handing out mixed messages left and right.
She’s so naive and inexperienced that’s she keeps forgiving him for repeatedly being an asshole. Obviously he just needs someone to love him.
And then he’s been carrying around this “huge secret” and if she finds out she’ll never forgive him - even though it’s not even something HE did.
So I waste 12 hours listening to this whole thing unravel and for what? Literally nothing. It’s just a means to use the name of the title inside the book. He’ll be looking for her? WHAT?! Who cares? There’s no comeuppance for the villains in this book? The villains get to go on living their lives but the main characters don’t even end up together? Why? What was the point? Ugh.
And by the way - for everyone hooting and hollering about all the Italy sex in this book - what? Not even that spicy. The 2 and half scenes of sex were meh so if looking spice, read something else.

I really like the writing style and overall plot, but I didn't really vibe with the setting and the near constant sex and sex talk in the last 25% of the book. But the characters were pretty likable and the book had some hard-hitting moments.

I had a hard time getting into the book. It got better but I feel like I missed a lot of things in the book. Also, the relationship between the 2 main characters is toxic. I liked some parts of the book, but the end of the book was really disappointing.
