A haunted manor. A fractured team. A past that won’t stay buried.
After months away, Rose Radcliffe returns to England – only to find that everything has changed. The tragic death of Alicia has driven a wedge between Rebecca and Jonathan, shattering their marriage and scattering the team.
But when Rose hears whispers of a chilling presence haunting a remote estate, she sees a chance for redemption – and reunion. She convinces Rebecca and Jonathan to join her on one more investigation, alongside their trusted ally, Father Rashford.
Myvern Manor stands alone in the countryside, its walls steeped in secrets. At night, unseen footsteps echo through empty halls. The owners speak in hushed tones of a malevolent force stalking the rooms. As the team delves deeper into the mystery, Rose begins to fear that this is no ordinary haunting – and that the ghost of Myvern Manor may be tied to something far more dangerous.
With the shadows of Quist House looming ever closer, Rose must confront the darkness – both within the manor and within her team – before it consumes them all.
The Haunting of Myvern Manor is the eleventh book in the Ghosts of Rose Radcliffe series, about a team of paranormal investigators and their encounters with the supernatural. Each book tells a standalone story but readers are advised to read them in order.
Amy Cross writes novels and short stories in a number of genres, mainly horror, paranormal and fantasy. Books include The Farm, Annie's Room, The Island, Eli's Town and Asylum.
Just finished The Haunting of Myvern Manor and wow—what a ride! From the first chapter, the atmosphere completely pulled me in. The old manor felt so real that I could almost hear the floorboards creaking under my feet. I loved how the story balanced creepy, slow-burn tension with genuinely emotional moments. Rose Radcliffe is such a strong, complex character, and watching her face both ghosts and her own past made the book hit even harder.
An awesome story of love and death, of course followed by ghosts. The story was hard to follow at times. I had to go back and reread a few pages to catch on to Amy Crosses way of thinking.
