A shifter fighting for his place in the Feral Breed
A witch searching for a place in her coven
A love that breaks every boundary

Book three in the Feral Breed Motorcycle Club series

Only ten years into his new life as a wolf shifter, Feral Breed MC prospect Pup is struggling to find his place. A throwaway kid in his human past, the only time he's ever felt at home is when he's riding with his Breed brothers. But a mistake that nearly ended the life of his leader's mate haunts him, and he'll stop at nothing to prove his worth.

Orphaned at birth, Azurine and her sisters have been raised on string magick, grimoires, and the strength of the elements around them. Growing up surrounded by the witches in their coven, there's never been a lack of a maternal element to support her. But she's always been the "middle Weaver," forced to accept the coven's refusal to see the girls as anything other than the Weaver triplets.

When a witch hunter invades the coven's home, the witches lash out at the nearest suspect... and one of their own. Betrayed by her coven, Azurine must choose between the only family she's ever known and the man fate tied to her soul. And as Pup tries to earn the respect of his club, he makes a decision that could cost him more than his place in the Feral Breed. It could cost him Azurine. Or his own life.

Full-length novel with adult content featuring a seriously hot wolf shifter, a powerful witch BBW, and some magick in the night.

A storyteller from the time she could talk, USA Today bestselling author Ellis Leigh grew up among family legends of hauntings, psychics, and love spanning decades. Those stories didn’t always have the happiest of endings, so they inspired her to write about real life, real love, and the difficulties therein. From farmers to werewolves, store clerks to witches—if there’s love to be found, she’ll write about it. Ellis lives in the Chicago area with her husband, daughters, and a German Shepherd that refuses to leave her side.

Received free in exchange for an honest review. Actually, I received three of them: Claiming His Fate; Claiming His Need; Claiming His Witch. Do you sense a theme here? You should because all three are the same story, only the names and scenarios change.

I enjoy a good shapeshifter story with a fated mate element but these stories are terrible. Apparently, one is free to sexually objectify one's fated mate and never have to spend any time getting to know him or her because what does it matter. Fated mated can't split up. Apparently, also, being a fated mate means non-stop sex and once I reached that part, I stopped reading because, honestly, how many times can one read the exact same words over and over.?

So this is my favourite so far out of the series. I like Pup, I like Beast, I like Scarlett and hoped that mating bug would have hit Scarlett and Beast. Not sure why the author didn't go into Spooks obsession a little deeper. Like how did he get all those pics, did he know their mother, why did he pick Amber to be obsessed with? I would give it a 3.5 but since they don't have half marks I bumped it up. lol.

What happened to those other old bitch witches?

All of these books have been AMAZING! I LOVE this series and I can not wait to keep reading. Pup has held a special spot in my heart since the first book and I loved seeing his story unfold and meeting Zuri and her own story of hurt and growth honestly pained me. These two go through so much and to see them come together and have such a beautiful relationship made me feel whole at the end of the book

This is Pup’s story of redemption. His mother stakes in the past almost caused the loss of a Brother’s mate and he feels he has much to make up for to earn his “patch” into the Feral Breed Brotherhood. Zuri is a witch on a mission, only she doesn’t know it. Multiple mishaps have her Coven shunning her and she and Pup have to figure out what’s truly going on. Excellent characters, includes characters from the previous books in the series as well as new ones. Loved everything about this book 5✨’s

Excellent read

I was worried when the teaser for this book said Azurine was a witch. Most of the shifter books I have read have witches who are only one dimensional. Not the case in this book. These witches have flaws and conflict and emotions. This is a good story, a really good story.

Enjoyable.

I didn't love this one like previous books, but I really liked it. I wish we had more time to get to know the characters better; particular the triplets. Everything just happened so fast..I have a feeling that if I keep reading, I'll get my wish.

Another good shifter story. this time its Pup, a newly turned shifter who still trying to prove himself to the pack and den. He colides with his mate a witch, one of triplettes. A little Romeo & Juliet inspired, this story is sweet, the prose is more youthful & eager. It made me want to say awwww.

So far this one is my favorite in the series. Pup finds his mate or she finds him. Either way she is a witch and has two sisters. Zuri has to go up against her coven and all she has known in her life to fight for her man. This is a great story!

Loved this was about Pup. Liked Zuri but the sister Amber needs a major attitude adjustment. What a witch, literally.
Good story with interesting background building.

My favorite story so far. I looked forward to Pups story. And boy was it worth it. Be forewarned, there is a bunch of emotional highs and lows. The ending was perfect.

I enjoy books that engage me, make me love...or hate...the characters, and get me so invested in the plot I feel as though I'm a part of the story. Sometimes, it happens. Sometimes, I just get close. But when a story has me in tears and laughing at the same time, I just have to stand up and applaud the author!

“Claiming His Witch" has the right amount of angst, conflict and suspense, along with love, loyalty and determination. Throw in a bit of snarky goodness, and some literally heart-stopping moments, and I'm a happy girl!

I fell in love with Gates in “Claiming His Need”, but like a fickle female, I've kicked him to the curb for Pup! It's obvious that Pup is a trusted prospect of the Feral Breed MC, but his past haunts him. Feeling he let his club down when Rebel's mate was nearly killed, his confidence is shaken. Being able to help Gates when he found his mate has helped Pup some, but he feels he hasn't proven himself yet, and he wants to earn his patched vest and jacket more than anything. His childhood memories from before he was changed also stick with him. Unloved and unwanted, forced to live on his own as a teen, and taken in by the kindly Beast, the Feral Breed is everything to him.

Until he meets his mate, Azurine (Zuri). Oh, and she's a witch.

The pairing of Pup and Zuri is simply one of the best I've seen in fated mate stories. They do not deny it or fight against it. They want to be together. The problem is WHEN and HOW. Zuri is committed to her coven, even though their loyalty to her is nearly nonexistent. As one of the orphaned Weaver triplets, her ultimate loyalty is to her sisters, even though one of those sisters stands against her with the coven, wrongly believing Feral Breed to be the dangerous shifter hunters murdering witches.

I have to say here, that with my limited knowledge of witches as portrayed in other books and television/movies, this coven seemed to be the worst of the worst in terms of beliefs. They were throwing spells and incantations around left and right, yet there was no concrete proof Feral Breed was involved in any witch murders. There were wolf prints and sightings, but nothing else. I find it odd none of them could light a candle, read a smoke ring or whatever it is they do to get more hard FACTS. Yet, led by the horribly distasteful Bethesda, Zuri is shunned, then banished from the coven. (Generic witches!)

Fortunately, Zuri (even though brokenhearted for being banished) has somewhere to go – back to Pup. And she does not go alone, she has the support of one of her sisters, Scarlett. She was there and witnessed the meeting of Pup and Zuri and know their paring is the real deal. I loved, loved, loved Scarlett! She's just plain ballsy and unapologetic, and that ability to create fire doesn't hurt. Next to Pup, she's my favorite character.

Witnessing the love-dance of Pup and Zuri is about as close to magical as it gets. There isn't any of the “usual” bickering, denial, and constant power plays we see between destined mates. The HEA could be just over the horizon – past the obstacles they each still must face. When Pup heads down to my old stomping grounds of Kalamazoo to do the job he hopes will prove himself to the Breed, he is hit with the realization that his assigned mission, and the fate of his mate and her sisters are irrevocably linked – and he needs to get back to her...fast.

The buildup and climactic scenes will have you on the edge of you seat, because even though you're moving towards that HEA, certain events will make you scream at your Kindle! (Okay, maybe that's just me.) Our HEA is yanked from under us! What happens now? Well, it's always good to have a witch or two...or three on your team!

Charlotte, Rebel and Beast are on hand to help guide Pup and Zuri...and maybe receive a bit of guidance themselves.

This is an excellent journey in the continuing story of the Feral Breed and I highly recommend it.

Pup's been feeling weird ever since he sat on his bike to go visit Beast (and maybe Rebel, who's still jackass—at least at the start of the story) up north. And even when they meet up as their camp, something keeps calling him northnorthnorthnorth...So he heeds the call, his wolf doesn't give him the opportunity to refuse, but before he could go truly northnorthnorthnorth, two girls crash into their camp.

Azurine, the middle triplet of the family, the water witch, has been preparing for winter with the coven, but something's been calling her southsouthsouthsouth all day. So when the oldest of the coven, Sarah, the woman who practically raised her and her sisters, tells her to heed the call, Azurine goes southsouthsouthsouth, with her sister Scarlett (a fire witch) to light the way.

She immediately knows she's found what she was looking for when she crashes into a camp and comes eye to eye with a green-eyed wolf...Who turns into a man...Who turns out to have her red thread curled around him. In layman's terms—he's her soul mate.

The only problem is, she's a witch and he's a shape-shifter. And those supposedly kill witches. So her coven will not look fondly on their union...She has no idea.

And now we have witches thrown into the mix. Which is good, since there was more plot to focus on beside the goddamned mating haze, but still not good enough to get the rating up. It was boring, demanding a faster reading pace as its predecessor, because the pacing toward the end was so damn slow.

I liked the heroine. She wasn't a shifter, but she wasn't human either, so the notion of (soul) mates wasn't foreign to her, and the girl had some serious powers. Good for her. I loved the scene at the camp when she defended her sister with that tidal wave. Cool.
I liked her hero as well. I've had a soft spot for Pup since the first book, and although I didn't particularly like his stubborn refusal to finish the job (mate or no mate) and determination never to make mistakes—mistakes are part of life, kid, deal with it, I liked the Pup I got to see with Azurine. Sure, he was a sex-crazed as the other shifters when he found his mate, but the fact he was a young shifter (barely ten years old) helped in their interactions. He didn't demand, he took to heart lessons learned from Rebel's botched claiming, and he followed her lead, which was nice.
Okay, the fact he was too stubborn to see reason about the mated-wolves-don't-ride thing has to be excused a little, because it led to my favorite scene in the book (it's there, at the end of the blurb), the gripping, intense, heart-wrenching scene that made me realize Ms Leigh can write something other than fuck-scenes. So why doesn't she?

Anyway, moving on.

Again, there was a pinch of suspense thrown into the mix, which was never expanded or explored beside the fight that led to the aforementioned wonderful scene. Again, a big pity, because there could've been something there. Expand the other elements of the story, keep most of the mating behind closed doors (we don't have to know everything, for crying out loud, let's leave the idiots be), and you have balance in the story.

Despite the better, expanded plot thanks to the witches, their coven, their inner politics, and sibling rivalries and betrayals, the balance still wasn't there in this one. But it's getting better. Hopefully in the next story (Beast!), we'll get there.
I love Beast, by the way. I only met him recently, so I don't know much about him, but the fact the guy had the best lines in the book (I loved his nicknames for Scarlett) says a lot.

Hi perfection. Meet Pup. He's awesome and I love him to death. And back.

I have been waiting for Pup’s story since book one in the Feral Breed Motorcycle Club series. There was something about him in Rebel and Charlotte’s story that just got to me. Might’ve been his desire to prove himself, even though he screwed up, and it might’ve been something else, but oh boy am I glad Claiming His Witch is finally out.

Umm… hi there, gorgeous man on cover of the book. How are ya? I’m going to go ahead and pretend that’s pup, deal?

Remember how Rebel had to wait, what… two hundred years for his mate? And Gates… four hundred years and on the verge of giving up? Our adorable young pup, only ten years into his wolf life finds Azurine (Zuri), a witch that is weirdly connected to the water element.

First, I love the name Zuri. It somehow fits her character beautifully. And her water magick (yup, that’s how ti works with this witch, it’s magicK) is pretty awesome. Helloooooo mood storm. lol

Pup and Zuri are drawn to one another and unknowingly run towards each other, and when they meet it’s, as expected, insta-lust.

Deep and sweet, the smell was the waking up on the riverbank as kid with the mist rolling over the water and the sun playing hopscotch across the ripples and waves. It was like home and faith and all the good things I’d long ago had taken from me. It was everything… and it was mine.

The only complication is that Zuri is part of a triplet, adopted by the previous coven leader, who is now gravely ill. Current leader wants to uproot the coven and run as she believes there’s a witch hunter about to attack them.

One guess who she suspects?

Zuri’s sisters fill a very important role in this story, though, and I was impressed by how clever their part in it was. Fantastic weaving of witchcraft and elements, fate and destiny, with the wolves’ world. Kudos, Ellis.

I was surprised by how much of a man Pup is. He’s protective, fierce, kind of badass and every single thing that he did made me love him more.

He grabbed my elbow when I moved to walk away from him, bending over to give me a deep kiss before whispering against my mouth, “I’m going to love the fuck out of you, little witch. Just you wait and see.”

And then he walked out the door.

Did I say swoooooon yet?

Another character introduced in this book is Beast. Gates’ brother and the one who turned Pup into wolf. Beast is pretty great, and I think his role in Pup’s life is perfect.

In short, though I absolutely adored the first two stories – I mean Rebel and Gates? UNF – I am claiming Pup as the perfect guy. Like… EVER!

My rating: 5 stars power a gazillion. That’s a lot of stars, ha? lol

PURE FERAL MAGIC !!!
Absolute Perfection! Claiming His Witch is the third book in Ellis Leigh's powerful Feral Breed Motorcycle Club Series and it totally ROCKS! Leigh's amazing talent, astounding imagination, incredible skill and unique style shine brightly in this masterpiece of paranormal romance and suspense. Her skill is only surpassed by her passion for giving her readers an experience of pleasure, entertainment and satisfaction to be savored and remembered. The power, depth and raw sensuality of Leigh's writing tickles my senses, teases my imagination and quickens my pulse. I do love her work! The story is exciting, original, smart, action packed, thrilling, riveting, addictive, heartwarming, erotic, romantic, sensual and steamy. The dialog is raw, gritty, powerful, compelling, well written and flows effortlessly. The characters are fascinating, captivating, imaginative, intriguing, engaging, endearing and sexy as sin. Pup has never had an easy life. He was nothing but a throwaway kid, cast out by his parents into the world at age fifteen. Fortunately for Pup, he was taken in by Beast, the Gatekeeper's brother, who gave him food, shelter, a job and taught him a skill -- and ended his human life. When Pup was attacked by a nomad shifter, Beast saved his life by turning him. Now he is Anbizen, a man and a wolf, a wolf shifter who was once human. For 10 years he has struggled for balance between his human past and his present life as a wolf shifter. As a prospect with the Feral Breed Motorcycle Club, he strives to prove himself to his Feral Breed brothers who are now his family. His only mission is to make up for the horrendous mistake he made which almost cost the life of his leader's mate and hopefully one day earn his cut with the Feral Breed MC rocker and the growling wolf insignia. He dreams of the day when he will be given his road name by his brothers. Yep, to right his wrongs and earn his patch - that's his only mission in life. But the one thing he never saw coming was the beautiful, feisty water witch, Azurine Weaver who just happened to be his one true mate. What? And by the goddess, he certainly was never prepared for her and her two witch sister - triplets! Huh? Everyone knows that witches and wolves don't mix! Do they? Sparks fly! Attraction builds! Desires explode! Passions ignite! Quite literally! Oh my! Sexy wolf shifters-check! Beautiful curvy witch-check! Heinous villain-check! Danger, suspense, romance and steamy sex-Yeah Baby! I laughed! I cried! I really sobbed liked a big baby! Fabulous entertainment and an awesome read!

This was another great story from the Feral Breed Motorcycle Club this story is Pup's story he arrives at his friend, mentor, makers shop on Lake Michigan and he has come there because he was draw there after one of his roommates read his future and he is also there to do some business for Rebel about so money missing but most of all he is being pulled by something he cannot explain he and Beast work on Rebel's bike and then go on out to the cabins that they stay at when they are in that part of the state working but Pup just to itchy and he and Beast go for a run and Pup strikes out for the north but Beast doesn't understand why he is so intent and determined so he makes him stop mean while on Lake Parity at the lighthouse is where a coven of witch's live and they are sure that the Witch hunters are have been spying on them but no one has seen them but one of the Weaver triplets is feeling like she is being draw to to the south and she has told her the woman who has raised them since her mother died and left them in Sarah's care but Sarah is dying and she tells Azurine (Zuri) that she needs to follow that pull and see where it leads her she tells Scarlett her younger sister to go with her so they take off Zuri takes the lead because she knows exactly where she is going she just doesn't know who or what she about to meet they happen to trip over each other and when they look up Pup and Beast are right in front of them and everything changes for Pup and Zuri when they set eyes on each other. This is a really sweet and beautiful story love story with lots of twists, ins and outs and death and danger, one you wont want to miss. The writer has done a wonderful job of bringing the story to life. Recommend.
