Autumn...the season where everything dies...clever title for this short story that originally was part of Stalkers: A Collection of Thriller Stories.
I was gifted a copy of it and read it in about an hour...starts off creepy and then when you realize you are hearing the voice of a crazy stalker bi*ch...OMG then it gets really intense and scary. This story was suspenseful and brought back memories of the film "Fatal Attraction" although unlike that movie, the hubby did NOT cheat on his wife and the obsessed secretary was completely delusional.
A pretty entertaining story...wished it had been fleshed out a bit more and made into a full length novella though! I would have liked to read more about Autumn's background and what made her the psycho she is today.

4.5 stars -- Epically disturbing and creepy short story. Reading Autumn's POV made me feel wrong inside....so kind of effective for the stalker. Was kind of fun to read from both the stalker *and* stalkee POVs.

Received this book free for an honest review. Okay, so this type of story is not a storyline that I'm fond of or even interested in, but it's a great story. I knew from the beginning that this wasn't something that I would like to immerse myself into, but I kept reading. These stories are scary, but I remember that just because I don't like reading about or hearing about stories like these, doesn't mean they don't happen. Tip: Trust your instincts, they'll never lead you astray. If you like thrillers, then this book is for you!

This short story was awesome. I really got sucked in. I thought for a quick moment that she was going crazy so kudos to the author for making me believe it.
