i almost swore not to read rafe’s story—i didn’t like how he treated nora at times and if book 2 is anywhere as long as book 1, i might hate it but miss hayle set up the beginnings of rafe’s story so good, i will be reading!!!!

This is the second book in The Billionare Games series and this one concerns Rafe and his marriage of annoyance with Paige the heir of a rival luxury company. Rafe has been secretly buying shares of her company since her uncle was responsible for the stalking of Nora, Rafe’s sister. Paige is determined to save her company and its employees and proposes to Rafe via email. Which he accepts.

I really enjoyed the setting of this book as it takes place during the summer in Italy and it’s currently January and freezing where I live. I also really enjoyed both Rafe and Paige! They’re both such emotionally damaged softies who put up such a tough exterior. I loved how they both helped each other thru really emotional times. I also enjoyed that they both eventually went to therapy. Their relationship was a super slow burn but I felt like was absolutely necessary! You really got to understand how these two did end up falling in love with one another.

Overall this is a great continuation of the series and I’m really interested in the next two books about James and Alex!

I LOVE RAFE AND PAIGE SO MUCH.

Rafe is probably my favorite mmc ever written by Olivia. Paige is so bold and spunky. They’ve both been through so much and they were literally made for one another and watching them fall in love was so much fun.

Olivia absolutely knocked it out of the park with this one! The marriage of convenience and enemies to lovers tropes were done so well. I’m so thankful for the opportunity to have beta read this one back in October thanks to Olivia and her team <3
