Ling Ma. Red panda shifter. Currently unemployed... it’s complicated. 28.
After Ling is dumped (under humiliating circumstances), and then unceremoniously fired, she finds her life really isn’t going in the right direction. While unsuccessfully trying to avoid her mother’s attempts to set her up on blind dates, she gives in to her best friend’s nagging, and takes a temporary job at the Blau Bail Bond Agency. Things could only get better, right?

Marcus Blau. Boa constrictor shifter. Owner of Blau Bail Bond Agency. 42.
After being kicked out of his Den and losing his wife, the snake spent years persuading himself that he didn’t need anyone. He was determined to stand on his own two feet and stay alone forever. But, when a certain curvy red panda shifter walks through his door, all that goes to hell.

However, the course of true love never did run smoothly... While Marcus is on the trail of a particularly slippery camel shifter, Ling has to contend with her mother, who is less than thrilled at the thought of her little panda mating with a snake, not to mention the overtures from her ex-boyfriend, and the appearance of a contentious ex-husband. Not to mention the python shifter Marcus caught years ago, who has just been released from jail, and might be trying to kill anyone close to Marcus.

Can the aloof snake shifter catch the camel, catch the python, keep his loved ones safe, and convince the bubbly red panda that she belongs with him, before someone else does?

Please note this novella is approximately 47,000 words in length (it’s a mini novel!)
But I do advise caution! It does contain swearing (there’s a lot of use of the f word!), as well as scenes of a sexual nature with m/f interaction intended for mature readers.

Book 3 in series

Awwww talk about smooshie feels. This book was great. I loved the story it was so fast paced and I couldn’t put it down. Marcus ( is the owner of blue bonds ) and Ling ( is Carly’s best friend ) had great chemistry.
After finding out that the man she has been dating is actually still in a relationship with his wife and she is in fact the ‘other woman’ ling is devastated, loosing her job and her hopes for the future. That is until her best friend Carly signs ling up to work at blue bonds. As soon as she meets the owner ( Marcus ) ling is done for.
What follows is numerous bad dates ( by her pushy mother ) attempts on her life ... x

Light, entertaining and funny shifter book, in which Ling, a red panda shifter, falls for Marcus, a boa constrictor. Story focuses around the shifter bounty hunter office as they try to find a camel shifter who didn't show up for trial. That is the fun(ny) part. Other storylines include the main romance, some of Ling's exes not behaving well, and a ex-con who may have a grudge against Marcus. I enjoy these light short reads for what they are, a quick shifter story.

Supernatural Bounty Hunters - Book 3 - To Catch A Snake - Elizabeth Ann Price

This is the third story in the super Bounty Hunters series and it was just as brilliant as the previous stories. Ling Ma is a red panda shifter and best friends with Carly who we met in the first book. When Ling discovers her boyfriend is a liar and she looses her job she is heartbroken in more ways than one, but Carly cones to her rescue and gets her to come and work at the office of the bail bonds agency. Linh had given up on all men but once she catches the scent if her boa Constrictor snake shifting boss Marcus Blau she soon reconsiders her options. Marcus was just heading in to the office on a usual day and wasn't anticipating to be stunned by the delicious little red panda waiting in his offices. Both of these characters have previously been through so much heartache they are perfect for one another. It just takes them to see it after one hilarious situation after another tries to disruit their blossoming romance. They each have to accept their pasts and have faith in the other that what they have is strong enough and worth fighting for. Great characters, well thought out plot, hilarious moments and hot and steamy scenes. Another funny, heartwarming feel good romance and I loved every moment of it. I can't wait to see who finds their own happily ever after next! Happy Reading.

3.5/5 Stars

To Catch a Snake by E.A. Price was a quick, fast-paced, silly, light-hearted read. It's the kind of book that you laugh when you read, even as you shake your head, don't read into/analyze anything too deeply and simply enjoy.

Ling Ma, our heroine is both adorable and stupid and I still liked her. She does make mistakes (arguably she makes mostly mistakes), do questionable things (don't take food from strangers kiddos among other things), manage to be both the unluckiest and the luckiest little panda around. She is not a typical, take charge, kick-ass and take names heroine and that's okay.

Marcus Blau, our slithery hero was a perfect hero to Ling. She totally needs a caretaker, and he needed someone warm and soft.

There was also a host of side characters, ridiculous situations (often involving a certain bail-skipping, wily camel shifter), along with an inept attempted murderer and badly behaving ex-boyfriends. Oh and Mama Panda.

It's silly, and there are definitely elements in the book I would totally complain about and tear into in another book. What can I say? I still liked it.

Incredibly wonderful

I laughed and smiled my way through this book. This series is fantastic! The characters are fully developed and interact with each other beautiful. They also follow through out the series. I highly recommend this series

I found most of it hilarious until Ling started having TSTL moments, lying to Marcus, meeting her ex despite knowing Marcus’s history and how he would react and then letting her mother force another blind date on her just got too stupid.

Hilarious story about a snake and a Panda shifters

Marcus is a snake shifter and the owner of a bounty agency. He meets Ling, who is a red panda shifter, a friend of Carly, and a secretary.

Marcus was married previously to human who died. Ling was married and divorced. Unfortunately, Ling's life is in danger. Will Marcus find out who the Killer is and save her?

Characters of Marcus and Ling are unique, funny, and sexy. The plot is that Ping has many deliberate attempts on her life happens to to her such as her car tires being slashed, a small fire found burning in their house, and a bomb goes off in her car. She is kidnapped as another attempt was made on her life?

Some of the funny things that happen is on their first date they eat at a sushi place which had the food delivered by conveyor belt. Ling"s sleeve off her sweater catches on it and her sweater is ripped off. I really enjoyed this book for its hilarious elements. Highly recommended by a fan of this author.

Cant tell you how much I loved this! I'm gonna say that her mother Fang is something else! I didn't like her and Ling really should have said the word NO to her instead of going along with things. Odd name also Fang. Anyways, love Marcus and he was all fumbly sometimes. It was love at first sight for him but he didn't do anything about it right away. He was wishy washy but only because he was trying to protect her. I tell you she had a lot of mishaps! Covered in green goo and fishy soup? Poor Ling! Cute story and thought it was funny and cute. I don't like all the stories in this series but most of them. My favorites are book 1, 3, and 5. Didn't care too much for book 2 or 4. Wonder who she will do next. I think I didn't like the other 2 because they were already established mates pretty much, and I like the romance of it all from beginning to end. Keeps the mystery going and I just like those type better.

Cute story but awkward writing style

Some weird phrases like "parting FROM it" instead of 'parting WITH it'; places where she changed her mind about how to phrase something, but both versions are still there; places where autocorrect picked the wrong word (i.e., one instead of on); & and places where it seems like English is a second language for the writer all threw me out of story in dozens of places--once badly enough it took me weeks to pick the book back up--but the story and characters are fun enough I did go back and finish.

So, this one is my favorite. I loved their story and I loved that their families and how Ling's was a little scare of a Boa, but it worked out in the end. That damn Camel shifter! I swear he has the best luck in the world and he just kept pushing it. Fang was hilarious, but I did just wish that Ling would stick up for herself at least once when it came to the set up of dating. Super cute. Super funny. Loved it.

Good easy read

I really enjoy this series. The couples are hilarious and the out of ordinary mating is interestingly refreshing from other shifter books. Can't wait to read the next one
