Can't wait to read this! Heard about it from my sister who found out about it through the queer lodgings podcast. Tolkein's books are able to be interpreted through many different points of view and enjoyed by all types of people which is exactly what Tolkien wanted. He hated allegories and wanted to create a mythology that all people could enjoy regardless of gender, religion, ethnicity etc. Really excited that this is being made!

There is no queer approach to Tolkien.
Stop claiming stories for your agenda.

Just listened to a podcast featuring all three editors and my hype to read this has skyrocketed! There's an inherent joy to hearing about the lenses through which different people read/enjoy Tolkien's work. So excited to get my hands on this 🤩
