About the author

Çağla Ural is a Turkish-American author with internationally published works, widely recognized for her distinctive storytelling and compelling contributions to the historical fiction genre.
Born and raised in Germany, she completed her primary education there before relocating to Istanbul. She earned both her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and her Master’s degree in Banking from Marmara University. After a successful career in the financial sector, she moved to New York with her husband.

She is a member of the Women's Fiction Writer Association and Historical Novel Society. Ural currently resides in New Jersey, USA, where she continues to write and develop new literary projects.

Kitabı sesli olarak dinledim ve aynı gün içerisinde bitirdim. Uzun zamandır bu kadar sürükleyici ve güzel anlatımı olan bir romana denk gelmemiştim. İç içe geçmiş kesitler var, farklı karakterlerin gözünden bölüm bölüm anlatıyor ama bunu öyle yapıyor ki romanın akışkanlığı bozulmuyor. Malum her yazar bunu başaramıyor çünkü. Okuyucu duygusal bir bağ kuruyor okurken. Sonunda gözyaşlarıma hakim olamadım, bende kesinlikle güzel bir tat ve iz bıraktı.

İç içe geçmiş bir sürü Türk filmi gibi. Ben o filmlerdeki duygusallığı severim. Belki de o nedenle sevdim.
