One of my Dad’s favorite sayings (and he said it a lot) is In the land of the blind, the one eyed man is king. So I had the giggles going into this as the hero is a one-eyed, tangoing, black ops sniper with retrograde amnesia.
Things that happen... * Possible incest * Death by piranha * Death by mosquito (actually mosquito is the weaponized method preferred by the deposed South American dictator with a long memory and revenge needs) * A one-eyed Jack hero that shoots to kill and tangos and is overwhelmed with lust and love * Slut-shaming * Amnesia * Slut-shaming - Part II * A secret baby * An older sterile husband * Mucho murder * A move to the metropolis of Jacobsville * A dance off Just another day with Diana Palmer
Plot: The couple fell in love when she was 17, but her mother put a stop to it when she told the playah H that he and the heroine were half-siblings.
Instead of telling her, “Darling, it turns out we are half-siblings and since we aren’t Pharaohs or even ancient Egyptians, we’ll just have to be very good friends,” he decides that slut-shaming her vociferously and publicly for eight years is the better option.
When he gets the exciting news that they aren’t related because the impregnator impregnated HIS mother instead of hers(he doesn't blink his one eye about his mother’s infidelity to the man he knew as father) he then professes his love and lust to the heroine. He truly is a besotted H, and he seduces the heroine and they make immediate plans to marry.
He has to leave the day before the wedding for some espionage stuff only to come back with amnesia. He starts up the slut-shaming even worse then before and since no one tells him the truth he gets revenge engaged, and the h marries another man to protect her sainted dead mother’s reputation in the small town of Manaus, population 2.2 million, since the heroine will soon be an unwed mother.
The heroine moves to Jacobsville since a mega criminal with revenge is after her and her baby.
It’s all over the place, literally and figuratively, but the H is genuinely in love with the heroine unlike most of DP's heroes who barely figure it out later. The hero, despite being uber cruel, takes the honors having all the personality. I think the heroine is in a state of PTSD shock given that her father and sister were recently eaten by piranhas, and this latest round of back and forth protestations of love and devotion then slut-shaming/vitriol just shuts her down. Luckily the women of Jacobsville take up her cause, do the dirty work and shun the H.
Despite my snarkiness, I do recommend it as angst junkies will l-o-v-e it, and the hero is tortured by his love for the heroine. I would have scored higher if the heroine had any gumption.
The Cyclops:
Rourke felt as if Christmas had come. He let her move away, but his one good eye was brimming with joy, with exultation. ********************************************* Clarisse could still see the expression in Rourke’s brown eyes, because it was before he’d lost one of them, ********************************************* Rourke leaned forward, his one pale brown eye narrow and intent. ********************************************* She bit her lip because Rourke’s one good eye started flashing fire at her. “Sorry.” ********************************************* His one pale brown eye glittered with an emotion he couldn’t quite conceal. ********************************************* He let her go. His pale brown eye went down to the sleeping baby. ********************************************* He indicated it on the floor beside the rocking chair, and his one brown eye was glittering with fury. ********************************************* His eye closed on an inward groan. ********************************************* His pale brown eye was tormented as it met hers. “
This is a Romantic Suspense, and this is the 47th book in the Long, Tall Texans series. I have not read the other books in this book series. The beginning was super weird, and I found parts of the storyline award. I really enjoyed parts of this book, but there was parts of this book I just did not like or enjoyed. I wanted more suspense in this book, and there was not a lot of action at all. This book was more romance then suspense and action. The action happen in the background.
So happy to read something angsty from DP again. And this was H/h centric rather than all the bro-mances she’s been writing lately.
H/h have a past. We find out early in the story that they have been attracted to each other since heroine was 17, but heroine’s mother told hero that they were half-siblings. Heroine’s mother is constantly referred to as a “saint” so hero took her at her word.
8 years later the hero finds out that heroine’s mother lied and who his real father is, etc. . . Now he wants to make up to the heroine for all the terrible things he’s said to her.
They do make up. The plan on marrying and then –
Amnesia strikes. Light bulb finally goes off.
The story ends with the bad guys killed (blood splattered on heroine’s blouse) and the plan to live in Jacobsville.
I’m leaving out all kinds of details – such as both the H/h are wealthy. That the story takes place in South Africa, the fictional country they liberated in South America, Brazil and finally Jacobsville.
I thought the lack of “poverty porn” and other realistic details added to the story since DP is a great storyteller, but her world-building gets in the way.
Recommended for those who like old skool DP

Wow,just wow!!! Diana Palmer has returned with such a besutifully told romance that at times I literally choked up while reading.I wanted Rourke's and Tat"s story for the longest time and this was a winner. They knew each other since childhood, she at 8 and he 13.One day when Tat was 17 and Rourke was home from a mission, they each gave in to their feelings for each other, but before they went all the way,Tat's mother came home. After that night, things went down hill for the couple. For the next 8 years,Rourke whenever he was in Tat's vicinity,he was rude and hurtful towatds her saying mean and vile things. She could not understand where all this hatred came from. If you read DP's books, you will kniw the name of the merc KC Kantor, his backstory ,and Rourke's stark resemblance to him.It finally comes out that he is KC's son.We also learn that the love of KC's life died of a stroke. The truth of a lie is revealed and Rourke is hell bent on getting Tat back into his life as the woman he had loved all along and thought he could not have,he thought thru a lie that she was his half sister. They come together for a short time, admit to love and the day before the wedding,he gets called away on a mission. The course of their love has many bumpy roads,Royrke has amnesia and has no memory of loving Tat who is now pregnant with his child. What a journey to hea this couple went thru.I only intended reading a few chapters, but this book just grabbed me and I had to finish it. This is DP's strongest heroine to date with a hero I just loved.I loved this book, and it was great to see some familiar Jacobsville characters again.Well done Diana !
Wow. The kinkiness in DP. This. Was. Good. Just for the kinkiness... There so much taboo here that I don't know where to begin. And it was a real soap opera, where everything - just everything- happens and you can't stop reading it. Definitely not a boring book, or lacking angst. So, 4 stars. First the hero almost has sex with the 17 year old heroine on the couch at Christmas, with her mother just out of the door. They weren't even dating. Yes, they've known all their lives, but in that occasion he really saw he as a woman for the first time and five seconds later he was taking her panties off and had already his pants down... ok, a little hasty isn't he. She wasn't even of age, and he was older and more experienced, so it's almost pedophily... almost, not quite, but she was so young and they were not a couple. yet. Then enter her mother. The worst mother in law that anyone can have. Because, sensing the attraction between the two, and since the hero was having his fun sleeping around like young men do, she decides that that man won't do for her daughter, and tells him that the heroine is his half sister. Yes, that b**ch lied in an awful way, and since she was considered a saint woman (imagine if she wasn't) the hero obviously believes her and is horrified because what he feels for the heroine is not brotherly love at all. Actually he has a hard-on each time she's around. And the poor man keeps on having those hard-ons even after he *thinks* she's his sister, and only with her. he can't function with any other woman! A curse, it is! So, since she's in love with him, and is always around him making him hard, and making him feel like a perverted, he decides that the only way not to commit incest is to be a jerk to her, slut shaming her and telling her she repulses him. Then he becomes a mercenary and loses one eye trying to kill himself. For 8 years this sroty goes on, with both of them being unhappy and celibate, him always having the hots for her and she pining for him, and then he decides to ask their alleged father what happened and the man tells him he's not the heroine's father. So the hero can marry the heroine and they can be happy together. End of the story? No! Because the stupid man, after all they've been through, the day before their marriage, after having sex with her several times without protection (another kinkiness, when he tells her he was thinking about making a baby while having sex with her and that made him harder... that was gross), decides he has to go to a last mission, very dangerous, because who if not himself can kill that awful murderer of children??? And so we know what the remaining 65% of the book will be about... Long story short. - the hero is wounded -he loses his memory -the heroine is pregnant - the hero remembers only that he hates her -he sends her away -she marries another -she is widowed because a dictator wants her and her husband dead - they meet again -she is in danger -he is awful with her but can't remember why - nobody (and here's where I really started swearing like a drunkard) tells him the truth!!! Because it can be dangerous (this scientific truth was unknown by me. Of course it's not true, especially after almost one year!!!) - he remembers and decides to take her back - he kills the man who wants to kill her - she forgives him Ok. The book was really good. So much angst, so much passion, so much kink. But the hero was really nasty. And not because he was always treating her like dirt, this could be understanding since he had very wrong feelings for a sister and was afraid he wasn't able to resist her. But because he left her possibly pregnant to go around the world doing his dangeruous things. I hated him because he was not a responsible person. I hated him because the only one person he should have protected was his pregnant fiancee, his first thing to do was to stay with his family, not going around to play the hero. You are a hero if you do your duty every day, not if you leave your duties behind and go risking your life in dangerous places. When you have a family that is your first and only duty, your commitment to them is what make you a hero. Everyday in your life. And he was unforgivable for that. Whatever. The book was great.
Clarisse has been in love with Rourke since forever. They were playmates as children, she was following him around and worshiped him. Rourke pushed her away not because he didn't love her but because he thought they were siblings. When he finds out the truth they finally get together, they admit their feelings for each other and they live in bliss.
They are about to get married but Rourke has a last mission. He has an accident, he loses his memory and he rejects Clarisse once again. She is pregnant and alone so she gets married to a doctor who is also her good friend. It is a marriage of convenience and he vows to protect her and her child. Rourke can't remember his life with Clarisse. He can't understand why he is so attracted to her but all he knows is that his heart aches when he is with her.
I adored this book. It was full of drama, angst and heart-warming moments. Hero was a true romantic who is passionately in love with heroine. My heart broke into a million pieces when he has to leave her on the eve of their marriage for his mission, promises to come back to her but he ends up with amnesia and leaves Clarisse heartbroken and pregnant. It was so tragic and beautiful. Passionate, wonderful love story!
This book was a lot different than your regular DP book, it had so much pain, so much angst. And it was a lot darker, deeper than books she normally likes.
I can't say that I enjoyed Rourke and Tat's story very much. But I did so love the characters, and I understood why they did what they did. In fact, I even sympathised with Tat when she marries OM when she's pregnant and alone by the hero, and the hero has amnesia and can't remember her and treats her like shit. (On that note, I must add the amnesia trope - and how I have never been a big fan of it. I stand by my decision - although it is a lot more tolerable when the amnesia affects the hero :P)
As I said, while I loved the characters, I just couldn't get into the story because of how much pain and anguish these two characters had to go through. I like fluffier stuff, I like angst, but - fluffy angst xD
The book was so incredibly written, and the plot was one of the most well executed ones I have ever read by DP. Kudos. She still remains my most favourite author.
Read this book when it first came out and read it again not long ago. It was better the second time around because I was looking for valid reasons for his asshole behaviour other then the obvious. I don't like the hero at all in this and I did not like him until almost the end. How he got the idea that she is a slut I have no idea??? He made me soooo mad. But he gave me feels. She was a little too doormat for me. And all the pain and suffering she has endured and how she had to cope with it, was just amazing. Omg, When he takes her ring away in the hospital bed I was just dying!!! I can't even express how this book made me feel. This is why Diana Palmer was my go to gal for so many years. Her books are now hit and miss. This one is a hit for me. Wish they could all be this good.
MILD SPOILERS HERE: Lost a star because she let other people make her decision not to tell him about the baby so he missed out on everything. He is a big f ing boy he can handle hearing that he got her pregnant. That's bullshit. On what planet is it not ok to tell a man he is going to be a father because he lost his memory??? I want to know? Cause it's not this planet. In fact you can't withhold information that is relevant to someone recovery. That's totally unethical and what about her was she going to lie to her child about the father!? Again I don't like this.
Usual formula for DP: experienced older man innocent virgin woman and lots of misunderstandings oh and slut shaming thrown in just for fun this time around.

"Untamed" is the story of Rourke and Clarisse. In the intro, Diana calls Rourke one of her most beloved heroes, and as the book finishes you know why. Rourke (our hero with an eyepatch) and Clarisse (our ever forgiving heroine) have known each other forever, and have cared for each other. Their attraction blooms, and in a session of hot and heavy kissing- they are caught by her missionary mother- who tells Rourke a secret which leads him to push Clarisse away, well by belittling and slut shaming her.. Years later, while Clarisse is doing charity work in Africa, her life is endangered and like every time, Rourke rescues her. But soon he discovers the secret he's been keeping is a lie, and suddenly all the erected barriers are broken.. This book had it all when it came to cliches -Mean hero who had his "Reasons" -Innocent heroine who loved and gave even if she never recieved -Impregnation fetish -Secret daddies and evil mommies -Amnesia -Marriage and engagements of sham to others -Convinient deaths -Super hot and heavy lovemaking with OTT exaggerated orgasms and pre coitus shivers -A lot of hairy chest rubbing on breasts -DRAMA DRAMA DRAMA -Hero who can cut arteries with mean words and whom I want to punch -Babies! -Old characters revisiting It had a sweet ending but all the back and forth was exhausting.. and there was a good chunk of the book where the hero was absent! SWE 2.75/5
Well, this one was certainly better than the last Diana Palmer book I read. At least the continuity was better and it wasn't all about video games and religion.
It was definitely a sweet love story but it was almost too sweet. I don't know, I guess my reading style may have changed but this was just so over the top with the sweetness and the innocence and the wanting. It just bothered me.
However, other than that it was a good story. I didn't find the hero or heroine annoying as in previous books. It definitely had the old Diana Palmer feel too it, if a little too sweet.
Normally I can't read a book out of order, I always have to read the other books that tie into the current one I'm reading, but I didn't with this book just because the latest books she's put out haven't appealed to me. I know this couple were in previous books prior to getting together but for the first time it really didn't bother me not to read those books first.
A decent enough story to keep the reader interested. You don't have to read the other books to enjoy this one but if you aren't familiar with any of the Long, Tall, Texan books you may get whammied. There are so many characters from her other books in this story it was overwhelming. Oh and the one thing? Some of these characters were from books written in the late 80's and early 90's and they are all still young. It just seemed weird. :)
What did I just read? It was so whacked, I decided to sit back and enjoy the trainwrecky-ride. Unbelievable how much happened in this one. I was definitely entertained. If you decide to read - just don't take it too seriously and remember these are DP characters. 3.5 rounded stars.
Another typical DP and if you’ve read many then they mostly give the same feels. It didn’t stand out like I was hoping it would but the story itself is heartbreaking. A lost love that just doesn’t culminate!
Rourke has loved Clarisse all his life until one day when he’s told something atrocious that makes him hate her with the same intensity. He keeps saying cruel things to her to push her away and it works. Except deep inside his heart Rourke can’t un-love Clarisse despite his best tries
They meet several times in life and eventually there’s a point where not all hope is lost and this couple is finally coming together. But it’s short lived and off they go, on yet another long lonely journey of angst and misunderstandings.
DP needs to tone it down sometimes. It’s like the whole freaking state knows each other and is there as a protective parent for the martyr h. Clarisse has truly gone through much and she didn’t own any misery that life had given her and played cool. I don’t dislike her for that.
This book could also be half length. The h and H barely have maybe 20% screen presence. The secondary characters are over whelming and their dialogues too weighty and took away consistently from the main couple.
Some of their second chance meets were sweetly poignant esp with the baby. I’d have rated it higher but the climax of the book was like a chase and it got way too draggy but the end!
Very, very dramatic but with those Diana Palmer touches that are unintentionally funny. Her foreshadowing is heavy-handed as always. This H is pretty awful, but he has been through a lot, so it is almost forgivable . The 3 stars are for how very DP this is.
Fans of Diana Palmer know what they are getting with each book. There isn’t much of a surprise that he heroine is often a virgin, and the hero is often angry for some reason. I truly don’t know how she keeps giving us this formula, and knocking it out of the park. Each book draws me into its net, and I don’t want out until the bad guys are caught, the guy gets the girl, and I have chuckled once or twice by the antics of the people of Jacobsville. The men she writes about are alpha males that have issues. They aren’t these perfect men that always say the “right” thing to get the girl. Often times they have to work hard to get their big feet out of their mouths. Rourke is the king of those traits, and I loved him all the more for it.
Rourke has spent years believing a lie that kept him away from the woman he wants most in this world. To do that he had to be beyond cruel to her, going as far as to make her believe that he hated even the touch of the touch of her. But he was always the first one there when she was in trouble. Now he knows the truth, and he is going to do what ever it takes to make her believe that he has always loved her.
Clarisse has loved Rourke since the moment she met him when she was a young girl. She spent all of her life following him around like a puppy, so it has been hard living in a world where he hates even the site of her. She doesn’t know how to deal with the truth that he actually loves her, and that someone was willing to lie to keep them apart. But once she opens her heart and arms to him, there is no turning back for her. He is her world. But could fate be so cruel as to keep them apart again??
This is not and easy love story. They truly have to fight to get their HEA. There are bad guys after them, but also a twist that tears the heart from your chest as you read it. I loved this book!! This series has a special place in my heart, and will always be a must read. Hope y’all love it as much as I do!!!
I think me and Diana Palmer are finally going to part ways. My reading tastes just don't mesh with her writing anymore. When I was younger I would hunt down anything I could get me hands on - I still have a decent collection of her earlier novellas. For the life of me I don't know what I found so romantic about them. Maybe because they were so short, the pigheadedness of her jerk H was short lived and their HEA was there in a a blink of an eye? I don't know honestly . . . but this three hundred pages of push and pull, sprinkled with one sided angst and tears was just not my idea of a good read.
How many times did I have to read that their love was tragic? Or rehash that infamous Christmas Eve? Or about that handsome business partner some irrelevant character may or may not be in love with? I'm sorry but it shouldn't be so hard to focus on one thread of the story. The danger and suspense was too vague and distant to really make an impact for me. And I really disliked the separation between the MCs. There were months that pasted without no communication or interaction, and it's been this antagonistic relationship for 8 years. How did they fall in love? A few day so bliss don't make a believable epic love. It sounds like an obsessive (and unhealthy) infatuation.
I kept asking myself why I continued to read when I wasn't captivated by the love story, the characters were the same old same old (hot and cold H and martyr clinging h) and it all read like some rushed summary of events. You get a mirage of past characters making appearances and it all read really choppy. (The answer I came up with - I spent $7 freakin dollars on this and the least I can do is read it all the way through - Sad, I know.)
**** I received a copy of this book from Net Galley in exchange for a honest review************
I loved this book. We have waited for this story, of Rourke and Tat. This is such a great book. The beginning was good the middle was a little drawn out but the ending was good well better then good it was great. I loved seeing this story unfold. It was about time we got this story. Allot of questions got answered in this book. If you are a fan of Rourke and Tat you will have to read this. Trust me it is so good. Do yourself a favor get it today!!!!
It's been a while since I read a new Diana Palmer's book and gosh, I'm in love! Even though the action's not as boom as usual, the drama.. Oh boy, I miss it. I always love Diana's plot and this book give me what I want!
Overall I loved this book and the drama with it. I don't care if people don't like Diana Palmer's books, to me, Diana is my girl.
Now I have to wait for another new book by her. But I knew, I knew it's going to be worth it.
I just read Undaunted by Diana Palmer, a fantastic almost-five-star train wreck read and jumped into this horrible do-not-read train wreck. This is just too stupid.
Quem é fã da autora não vai ficar desapontada. A fórmula de sempre é repetida para alegria das leitoras que adoram um herói cabeça dura e uma heroína ingênua. Eu recomendo somente para as fãs verdadeiras. ----------------- Who is a fan of the author will not be disappointed. The usual formula is repeated for joy of the readers who love a headstrong hero and a heroine naïve. I recommend only for the true fans.
girl where do i even begin with this book,,, 1. this felt like a horribly written fanfic from wattpad that i even would have hated at the age of 12,,, and my taste was questionable then. 2. ok so why is he a cowboy on the cover? he’s not a cowboy at all. misleading af 3. ALSO on the cover the stock photo of the cowboy has short cropped hair. why the man in the book have long hair??? 4. girl there’s literally a plot line of memory loss. shut up. wattpad moment 💀 5. she just forgives him. after he calls her a whore. multiple times. 6. literally the last 15 pages i am fighting to get through because its for some reason religious now? why they at church? 7. the book is literally just characters repeating the same stories to new irrelevant characters again and again thank you for coming to my ted talk
Another great read from Diana Palmer. I had been dying to read Stanton Rourke's book since he first made an appearance in Diana's book. He was such an interesting and intriguing character that just got more and more interesting over time. It was like little teases here and there until finally with this book I got the entire story of his back story and love story with Tat, who also appeared in other book as well. I really enjoyed seeing their love story play out.
So needless to say I was beyond excited for this one. It didn't disappoint and I was so thrilled that Diana Palmer has gone back to her original formula where the couple and their obstacles and misunderstanding between them instead of the criminal/drug trafficking plot line taking over with the love story taking a back seat like that had been featured in her books last three or five years.
I was so glad to see the development of the relationship between Tat and Rourke. Just seeing their ups and downs. Their closeness then the pulling apart then coming together again. All the angst and pain that went along with it. That was good. Plus they had a history too which added to the emotional intensity to the story because they both had feelings for one another that just grew and grew over time until it exploded. Classic Diana Palmer themes that I love.
What I was a tad disappointed in was both times that they reunited Rourke didn't have to work very had in my opinion to win Tat instead Tat kind of fell into Rourke's arms without much protest. I wanted to see him grovel especially after all the hurt he dealt to poor Tat. I mean he said some nasty things multiple times. I think he had a lot to make up for and just fight for but because he accepted him back so easily he didn't have to. I just wanted to see his struggle to win her back more. And Tat just needed to fight against him a little bit more and not be an easy win.
However I did enjoy seeing them together. I enjoyed seeing their passionate interludes. There were sweet moments. Romantic moments. Tender moments. And plenty of sensual ones that really showed the depths of their desire as well as love for one another. It was a very enjoyable romance.
I also really enjoyed that even though it was still classic Diana Palmer there was a twist that really was one heck of a complication for their romance. It just added a knife to my chest as well as Tat. It was hard yet entertains to read. It was heartbreaking to watch at times. My heart went out to poor Tat. It was just a refreshing change but provide same angsty romance that I am used to. I was glad that little twist was in there.
Another thing I really enjoyed was catching up with previous couples from other books. It was nice to see the characters and being more in love tan ever especially Cash and Tippy. I love them. They were so cute. And I loved seeing all the name dropping too even if they weren't present storyline.
Overall this was a really solid Diana Palmer book. There was a central focus on the couple but there was a side plot along with appearance of fan favorites. This book didn't disappoint, which was good after anticipating this book for so long. It was worth the wait.
I hope Diana Palmer keeps on writing books with her old formula in mind with little twists here and there to breathe fresh life into the story. Because with the old formula works really well and what I love from her writing. Don't change what isn't broken. Her classic stories are the ones that I love the most and are some of my favorite books. So keep it up Diana Palmer.

Untamed is the 51st volume in the Long, Tall Texans series by Diana Palmer. I read a lot of this series, and in Untamed we meet again heroes from some previous volumes. However, you’ll understand that seeing the number of books published, I don’t really want to make a list of all the novels in the series LOL.
I will only say that I’m fan of the author. And I must really be a fan because in spite of my lukewarm reviews on the recent volumes, and the catastrophe of Untamed, well I don’t want to stop completely. I’m not masochist… you are a fan or you are not. Or so I think.
In any case, my opinion on this novel fits in one word: catastrophe!
Diana Palmer’s heroes aren’t very gentle with their heroines, and the latter go through Hell a lot before their HEA. It’s a fact. Sometimes we want to shake the main characters, at different times. We can also hate the hero for a long time. But Diana has got an addictive writing. And a lively style. That’s why we read her novel till the end in spite of everything.
But with Untamed, that was especially difficult. Not because of the style, but because of the story that was told. We could say the novel has four parts: the truth revealed; the twist; the truth revealed part 2; the end. I won’t say more in case fans still want to read the book in spite of my review. I liked the first part. The second part was a bit more difficult but still a bit credible. Then arrived ‘the truth revealed part 2”. And that’s where the heroes lost me. Definitively. At this point, I was still ready to give a medium rating to the novel. Because I’m a fan. But my feeling toward this third part was that the heroine and the hero’s mentor (two important characters of the story) were really stupid.
And in the light of this truth revealed part 2, it wasn’t possible anymore for me to find positive elements in this book.
Therefore, it’s an absolute zero for Untamed (I’d even go in the negative). And I cross my fingers for Diana Palmer not to do such a crap plot for the next volume of the series.
This is the story of Stanton Rourke, a mercenary, and his childhood friend, Clarisse Carrington. Amnesia, some suspense when one of the characters is targeted to be killed, and reconnecting with familiar characters in Jacobsville, Texas are all elements of what could have been an interesting story. Unfortunately, poor writing with a lot of repetition made this a book I did not enjoy. Review based on an ARC received from NetGalley.
Lots of twists in the tale..... some small some big some unbelievable some eye-rolling some predictable some too-conveniently-explained some improbable some filmy style and.... at times some downright humorous!!
A lie that keeps Rourke and Tat apart for years, an enemy who wants revenge and who will stop at nothing to get it! Action-packed as well as a tender love story rolled into one.
*I received this book compliments of the publisher. The opinion is my own.
I ate her books alive when I was younger. Loved them so much. Now...well, it's the cheesiest drama ever, amoung other questionable things. I gave it 3 stars for my nostalgia!

REVIEW: UNTAMED BY DIANA PALMER
Untamed by Diana PalmerMy rating: 5 of 5 stars Diana Palmer has always been a favorite author of mine. She writes emotionally charged stories that can break the heart, peak interest and leave a reader guessing. Untamed is a story of two emotionally battered people trying to overcome obstacles that could lead to deadly results. Rourke and Clarisse had to dig through many land mine's and painful secrets. Through it all Untamed proved action packed, suspenseful and heartbreaking. Great job. Received an ARC for an honest review.(www.goodreads.com/review/list/2555691...)
